The sad part is my two items were customer pick up, I didn't have a reason to even walk around the store. But since I was in town for only a few days visiting my college student we walked around and grabbed everything she loved. More things for her dorm room and snacks. What do they think this accomplishes except making people nervous and anxious? People obviously are going to leave but they want everyone out of their door right at the close time, in retail that's never going to happen but they get nasty about it and then let's talk about how you have to wait 15 minutes or longer no bs to check out!! How do you never schedule enough people to run a register accordingly to your sales and productivity? Again there are a few great employees but they never last long because they work them to death by making them check people out alone! This wod have for 5 stars if it weren't for that! So I arrived and picked it up, took it to the desk and the lady said she needed to get approval for the price match. I looked up the listing from walmart to show her the listed price. She said that the price, including the shipping, has to be lower than their price. The listing says "Free pickup, Fri October 11th." She took a picture of the listing, including the shipping details and sends them in a message to her store manager, no reply. She called the manager, no answer. Time is burning. She messaged the store owner, no reply. She called the owner, no answer. We are now at 20 minutes of waiting. I figured "It would be a shame to leave empty handed, i mean after all Ive waited this long." She keeps messaging and calling until finally she gets through to someone, but they hang up on her. Finally, 30 minutes after I arrived, she makes contact with someone that can approve the discount. She is than told the manager has to confirm the price and is hung up on. So we wait even longer. Finally she gets a call, they wont match the price because walmart's free shipping is only if I spend $35. Walmart clearly ships this item to the store for free. The lady at the store was very nice. I cannot recommend her more highly. The manager of the store was both unprofessional and demeaning in the way he/she treated the customer and the lady at the counter. Later in the evening the owner called me to apologize and offered to deliver it to my himself.
