Been ordering from this location for years. With all the pizza joints in town, this one is consistently the best around. They care about their product, which unfortunately is a rarity nowadays. I ordered two pizzas on Friday, November 15. I called the restaurant directly, not online. The gentleman told me it would be an hour for our pizzas. No, big deal, its Friday. After about an hour and twenty minutes I tried to call Blackjack to find out if my pizzas were coming. (I had a hungry four year old). The message from them was that they were closed. I checked on their website, it also said they were closed. Nobody called us to let us know that our pizzas were not coming. At 8:15 pm, two hours and fifteen minutes after I had ordered pizza, the delivery driver shows up. I turned him away. We had already had dinner. I was just sad that nobody called to let us know. I did complete the contact me page on their website but they have not contacted me either. Very disappointing. We like this store and we don't have a lot of options in Brighton. Fantastic, fresh ingredients with fresh made pizza dough in house along with really good deal on FAMILY SIZED ranch dressing they make in the store (not pre-packaged garbage from hidden valley) to dip your pizza in. If you haven't, try the pan pizza dough as it is the best! Just had a dominos pan pizza and it doesn't compare. Also, the delivery drivers are great, too! I usually don't complain- but because the manager tried to tell me this pizza wasn't burnt and only a little brown around the edges after I sent him this photo here I am- we waited an hour and 20 minutes paid $60 for two burnt pizzas, cheese bread and cinnamon sticks. Edward general manager of black Jack refused to give me a full refund because my kids ate 3 slices off it (because they were hungry and tore the burnt off ). Disgusting I don't care if we are in a pandemic still take a little pride in what you serve people. This used to be my goto pizza place, loved it! Now it's on my No Call List! I placed an order, and it gives you a time (minutes) your order will be delivered. After 30m passed the approx delivery time, I called and the gentleman on the phone said it should be there soon. Another 30m goes by, and I call... same deal, should be there soon. Another 30m goes by, so I pick up the phone and call... as I'm on the phone, the driver pulls up. I tell the driver to go ahead and get back in his car, I'm not accepting the pizza. I tell the gentleman on the phone I wan a refund. I don't deal with liars, minutes are exactly that, minutes... not 15m, 30m or an hour! He has to get a manager's approval... I get my money back. Blackjack Pizza is our favorite local pizza spot since we moved to Lochbuie last year and they are one of the few that will deliver to us. Our usual order at least once a month is a large pizza with wings and neither are ever disappointing! We have had both bone in and boneless wings and enjoy each. We like our bone in wings cooked well done and they always come out perfect! Their spicy ranch is a must! All the employees we have encountered have been very friendly too. This place has pretty good pizza and when you land a great coupon it's even better. I love to get a chicken and ham pizza with white sauce (garlic and olive oil). The garlic has great flavor and the cheese is tasty. If you get a pizza with the white sauce get it on thin crust, it doesn't absorb as much of it. I would have given this location four stars if it wasn't for the rude customer service I always get on the phone. The delivery people are nice enough, but the guy I always seem to get on the phone is consistently rude. At least he's consistent? After I got off of being on hold this is literally how my conversation went: Guy with bored voice: "Phone number." "What do you want?" "That it?" "Delivery?" "Total is $18.46, 45 minutes." When I went to the box for seconds I was shocked to see it was from Blackjacks. Solid pizza place that delivers to local hotels. I'm vegetarian so this review doesn't cover anything meat related. Guy who took my order was careful to repeat my order back twice. Recommended traditional crust which was good. I ordered a medium pizza with onions, bell peppers and garlic. I also ordered a side ceaser salad with no chicken. More then enough food for one person. Delivery time was 45 minutes as I was told when I placed my order so that was cool. Guy who delivered was friendly. Two very minor issues that made me give them a 4. 1. I ordered a ceaser salad with ceaser dressing. I was given ranch. 2. Asked for crushed red pepper packets and didn't get any. Overall I would certainly order from Black Jacks again. First time visit. Generous topping portion. They had a special for 1 large two topping pizza and boneless wings for 15.99$ before tax. The boneless wings were just barely okay. This has got to be the best pizza in this area. We ordered a pan pizza (they're square!) with everything on it. It was only a small and we couldn't even finish it, the toppings were so generous! Have also had the hand tossed and thin crusts, but pan pizza is our favorite. Unfortunately I was short with him, simply because of accidentally being disconnected after holding. He was completely professional, thorough, and pleasant. My pizza and wings arrived in less than 30 minutes from a very fast and accurate delivery driver, and were spectacularly delicious. Although I had been a jerk, this insider was completely gracious and mature and then my order was fast and perfect. There is no better combination when it comes to a pizzeria. I called and spoke to the owner who said and I quote " you cannot call ask these questions and now your are deemed abusive never call here, we only tried to report our issue the owner Elisa or whomever she concealed her voice and mumbled and when I tried to recall her employees would not put her back on the phone. My children were 12 years and older people with younger children should know and have concerns over the food preparation and handling by people who would not have a discussion over a bill of $30 but would become hostile, hiding from phone calls and discussion about there food. We had an extremely poor experience with this black jack. First, we placed our order online. The total was roughly around $70. The delivery was estimated for about 45 minutes to an hour. An hour passes, no pizza. 75 minutes, no pizza. 90 minutes, no pizza. Finally we decide to call Blackjack to see what's up.... "Oh our system is acting up so it's showing you wanted the pizza at 11 am this morning"... How we could be ordering pizza back in time is beyond me, so I ask how long it's going to be... "Oh, you still want it?" Well yes! We already paid! Of course we want it. Who knows what would have happened if we didn't call. I'm fairly certain they would have just taken our money and never delivered anything. Second, once the food was finally delivered, it was barely warm and had an overall bland taste. I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. I could have gone to the store and made a better frozen pizza in much less time and for much less money. read more
