Blackjack Pizza was good...but back around 2005, we boycotted it due to an immature, mouthy manager, whose dad was the apologetic delivery person. Fast fwd to now. We have tried Blackjack Pizza again, since the old location had closed, and more recently, there was a newer location that opened. So we tried them again. Pizza has been okay!! For months it's been okay... TONIGHT (9/5/25), we decided to add chicken wings to the order. For $10.99 for 9 small pieces, I was disappointed to begin with. AND, after biting into the small "boneless wing," I was even MORE disappointed!!! It was NOT a boneless wing, it was a "spiced McDonalds-like PROCESSED CHICKEN NUGGET!!" I absolutely HATE processed chicken, in the name of a boneless chicken wing or a McNugget...but $10.99 for spiced McNuggets?!? HOW HORRIBLE!!! And then, for the last kick in the ass, the pizza lacked sauce!!! WTF?!?!? $45 total for a Large (NOT even an XL!!) pizza and 9 small McNuggets. DAMN. Never again. Ordered a pizza and was quoted a 60 minute delivery. I always give detailed instructions on delivery because my apartment complex layout is really bad. After 75 minutes I called the store and was told the driver couldn't deliver because no one answered the door. My phone number is on file with them and has been for eight months. I am sitting 15 feet from my door on my computer. No delivery was ever attempted. When I called the person on the phone just said "hey that's what happens sometimes". The apathy is unreal. I cannot believe anybody is willing to tolerate and pay employees like these. I was then contacted by the "Management Company" in response to my review. I sent an email to the email address listed at 10:55 PM on July 7th. At 6:41 AM on July 8th I received a reply from Robyn from the "management company" requesting information on which store and brand I wrote a bad review for. I responded at 11:59 AM July 8th with the requested information and have not heard a peep since even though I've sent two follow up emails. The store also did not even bother to cancel the transaction for the pizza they decided wasn't worth delivering including the preemptive tip! I had to file a claim with my bank today to even get that process started. So much for Blackjack or the management company wanting to resolve the issue I guess. read more

Ordered delivery online. Estimated time was 45 minutes. More than an hour later, called the store to check on the status of my order. Person who answered was incredibly rude. No apology, no explanation. All he would say was "it's gonna take longer." Food (cold) arrived literally an hour and a half after I placed the order. I was told there was only one driver. When I arrived the guy at the computer told me, it'll be 15-20 minutes. I said WHAT? I placed that order almost an hour ago. He kept apologizing and I actually felt sorry for him. I ordered a pizza just about every week for the past 10 years several years in Littleton and Thornton where I more four years ago. I pretty much ordered the same pizza and it always tastes great. One time it came without my favorite topping and I called the manager and they gave me the next pizza free, now that's service. HORRIBLE AND RUDE!!! I just ordered a traditional pizza, half ham& pineapple, half cheese what I got was some rectangular pizza that was half bacon & ham and half cheese. Way wrong pizza. The other pizza I ordered was thin crust, all pepperoni and bacon. I got it half pepperoni and bacon and half cheese. 1) The couldn't keep the order straight. Both pizzas were completely wrong. 2) When they brought it to my car I thought they were bringing me one pizza and one order of breadsticks. Turns out the rectangular box was a pan pizza?? Odd..Pizza hut pan pizzas are round.. 3) I told the young teenagers that they got the order wrong. The went back into the store and came out 10 seconds later. They said they talked to their manager and according to store policy they can't re-make the pizzas..really? When my order was wrong from Pizza Hut they gave me the pizzas for free. They comped them. NOT these guys. I said "Where's the manager?" One of two teenagers that came out to speak to me said "busy.".. 4) I told them that I'm not happy with this. They need to make it right. They said "Well, dude, technically it's not our problem. You made the mistake. That's the way the order same to us." 5) I told them that if that's how you treat customers then I won't be ordering from BlackJack pizza again".. their response? One said "Fine by me." and then the other said "Ok, now Goodbye" and then the first one said "Have a nice year!" and they walked back into their store. This was about as BAD of customer service as you can get. They were inconsiderate, unprofessional, and rude. They didn't try to make good. They could have at least had their manager come out to speak to me. They could have offered a coupon for the next order maybe? Maybe given me my money back like Pizza Hut did? Nope. I got two rude teenagers who half-assed cooked horrible looking pizzas, got the order wrong, didn't care, didn't provide even basic decent customer service then talked down to me like I was a problem and there is nothing I can do about it. Oh yes I can. I am going to write to their corporate office and file a complaint. DON'T order from this store again. Go to Pizza Hut. For the last couple months we decided to give Blackjack Pizza a try after being unhappy with the other pizza chains in the neighborhood. We are very happy we made this change. The salads are delicious and fresh. We like the rectangle pan pizzas with the crispy buttery crust. Never had any problems with their online ordering. The hot wings are not to spicy and if you order them well done they get a nice crispy crust. The delivery persons have been kind and professional. Mmmm, greasy cheesy goodness! Don't order from here expecting Anthony's or Abo's. It's a step above Pizza Hut in quality, but it's budget-friendly and works for those last minute dinner emergencies. I don't feel they skimp on cheese, and least not as much as other chains. Toppings areas fresh as can be expected. What they excel at is value. I actually like this Blackjack Pizza location and how quickly they deliver. The pizza and salad is always delivery within an hour, even on busy days. Food is always good. You know what to expect. Sometimes they really don't get enough chicken on your salad to justify the up charge, or it will be crumbled to pieces, but the salad is good even without the chicken so I just mostly order it without. The big thing they could fix... the online ordering system. It is atrocious. You will not be able to use any coupons from the mail and there is an unnecessary delay, about 10 minutes, from the time I place the order to the time they receive the order. Somehow we live in a pizza delivery twilight zone. Every pizza chain (even the ones we normally like) has terrible pizza. The other night, we decided we'd give Blackjack a try. It was pretty good, although not great. We liked the 505 green chile (instead of pizza sauce) on their Santa Fe pizza - it was really different - and we're fans of the 505 brand. The thin crust, however, was not very crispy and almost tasted a little stale. The hand-tossed crust on the other two pizzas we ordered was better and also tasty. The delivery was within the time specified, and their online ordering process was easy. The delivery guy was friendly. We still like the Papa Murphy's best in our area - but when we're feeling too lazy to go get it and throw it in the oven, we'll probably give Blackjack another try. read more

I got this pizza last night. It was decent I suppose. I'm not a huge fan of the crust on it, and they kinda skimped on cheese as well. If there's one thing that can overcome lame crust it's lots of cheese, and this one didn't have it. The cheese bread was very good though, definitely lots of cheese there. Restaurant/ordering area was clean, staff was friendly, and the prices are pretty good. They had some good pizza, which suprised me. We pulled into the parking lot and hubby went inside to get 3 large 1-topping pizzas for $5.99 each. He was out in about 3 minutes-long enough to swipe the bank card. Extra Crispy is for fried chicken not pizza. My two pan pizzas were severely burnt; even the cheese was black. I have never had a problem with Blackjack Pizza (84th and Federal) honoring on-line coupons. I just happened to be across town and suggested ordering Blackjack(104th) at a friend's home. The pizza arrived and we were missing the free 2 liter with our order. The driver told us that they don't honor the free 2 liter on-line coupon, even though it was clearly stated on the receipt that the soda should have been included. My friend called the manager with absolutely no resolution. I understand that they are franchised and can honor whatever they want but don't have on-line ordering if you are not going to honor on-line coupons!! read more
