Despite the negative reviews, my husband and I have dined at this establishment several times. The customer service is okay, nothing special considering it's mostly teen employees, but they have never messed up our order. We have ordered in person, using the app for pickup and also used the app for delivery. Our order has always been accurate. There's lots of sauce flavors to choose from for wings and tenders which is awesome! Literally always get my order wrong even when I call ahead and tell them. I love wingstop which is why we always continue to go back but I have a running count of 12 times they have messed up our order. Last time they messed up our order I called to complain and they just put me on an endless hold. When I hung up and called back they just hung up on my number. I was able to get a hold of them again calling from my wifes number and when they realized it was me they put my on an endless hold again. I ordered Wingstop online tonight for my family. They didn't have the option online to mix the wings sauces so I called the store after I placed the order to see if this is something they could accommodate for me. The girl on the phone was so nice and respectful. She had a great attitude and told me they'd be happy to do that for me. When I got to the store to pick up my food, I was greeted by the girls at the front who smiled and welcomed me. While I waited, I noticed how clean the restaurant was, how hardworking the kitchen staff was and the friendliness of the employees. I asked if they had a tip jar because I was so impressed by the employees that were working only to be told they couldn't take tips but appreciated the thought. I recently had Wingstop on March 21, 2021. their bone-in traditional wings never disappoint me! I always order my wings extra crispy with extra sauce, and they always give me that they never mess up my order; the wings are just immaculate. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. I love the wings, but this last visit was frustrating. I ordered online this time as it tends to be a long wait, I see why now. I was early for pickup and there were 6 employees behind the counter, none acknowledged me for a couple of minutes. Two were trying to fix a register issue, the one on her cell finally rang me up. Three seemed to be trying to help one count a till and they were all struggling. I would recommend counting money in the back for safety, but it was also painful to witness. The wings were good. Nicely sized for the most part. Cooked properly. Nice flavor with the hot sauce. The cajun fries were way over spiced - the fry guy just absolutely dumped loads of the cajun seasoning on them to render them inedible). I let one of the staff members know and she happily replaced them. The staff members were actually very good. They seemed to be very conscientious and hardworking. It was very busy, but they were on their toes making sure things were getting done. One guy came around asking all of the diners if they needed anything. That's really great to do that! Now, some of the issues - the biggest issue was that I observed the guy who was busily preparing the fries/rolls eat some of the food. Yuk! He wasn't the only one who did it. I observed 1 other guy eating back in the kitchen as well (while working/prepping food). I did admire how hard the fry guy was working, but I don't think he should eating the food like he did. How completely unfortunate. I rarely rate chains as being good places to eat, but I had made an exception with Wingstop. Now, the quality at most locations has declined significantly. The sauces are still really tasty, but the wings are more often than not completely cooked to in-edibility. The rolls once great, often now are just garbage. The service was rarely worth mentioning (what else can you expect from minimum wage employees) but the last couple of times in the Thornton location, I was treated extremely poorly. The manager even argued with me after I mentioned the last order was not correctly fulfilled. The response by him was to lather a disgusting amount of butter on the rolls, so much that the rolls were not visible beneath this layer of un-melted fat. I just hope there was no phlegm mixed in with it or the rest of my order. The owner should pay attention to this review. So should the health department. The service and knowledge of their products is awful. I've been to other wing stops and have never had issues, but this one is particularly bad. The last time I was here, our order came out and they put it in a to go bag when we were dining in, which wasn't awful, but they didn't ask. They are not ones to try and help out your budget though, as one unfortunate gentleman found out- he noticed a special that would have allowed him more food for the same price and they refused to give him the special. I opted for just the "hot" wings, sauce was good, but not that spicy. My son went for the boneless wings, the breading was a little greasy but overall they were okay.
