First off, I want to start this with the fact that I understand it was dinner rush and busy. HOWEVER. I placed my order at 6 pm in store (walk in) and was quoted 15-20 mins. I gave an extra 5 min because I understand it was busy. I went in at 6:25 and was ignored first of all, and second was told they were still working on it. Okay no problem I can be patient. Then 10 mins pass and I go back up (now 6:35); still not ready. Meanwhile three people came in, ordered, sat with me and left with their orders LONG before I got mine. Finally (6:45) I get my food. Well low and behold....order was WRONG. I ordered a traditional 10 pc. combo with fries, and a 6 pc. boneless with fries. 2 ranches. What did I get when I got home? (No I did not check in store because I was already late due to the fact that my 15-20 turned into 45!!) A 10 pc. BONELESS, cold fries and the 6 pc. No ranch (which I paid for). This is literally the worst Wingstop I have ever been to in my life. I live close by, so I keep coming back for the convenience, but I'm done with this place for good. The food that I ordered last night was cold. Yet, I live two minutes away and picked up the food right as it came out. I ordered the honey hot rub, and the wings were drenched in oil, with no rub whatsoever. I think the worst part was when I picked up the order. People were eating french fries on the line while cooking. I'm pretty sure that's a health code violation, and that right there almost made me want to cancel my order altogether. We ordered a 30 piece crew pack, 57$ with tip, not a problem we were feeding 5 kids and two adults, The order was promised to be delivered in 45-59 minutes, no problem with this because we have no problem waiting for good food. We we're happy at first, then we opened the bag of food.This is where we had our challenges and I like to think we are pretty understanding when it comes to both food and service The fries were soggy and we had to finish cooking them. The wings were warm at best (I know it's cold outside), it-was ordered with blues cheese ( we did not receive) there again we had some at home, no big deal. I will guess at what happened, and this is only a guess . No proof just chef knowledge when some of my cooks that have tried to send food that was already cooked ahead of time. The wings were delivered in 22 minutes. I understand getting ahead for rush by making some extra wings so all you have to do is sauce wings and add fries then the order is gone. You can-barely cook them in 10-12 unless the wings are already balanced or precooked, no issues with this either. When the main reason I hate say is that we ordered Wing-stop because my wife likes the fries, we won't make this mistake again and it really about selling me old food and nasty fries. It saddens me that no where in Thornton there are great wing places and when this particular location opened up, service was great, & employees were nice! Being Sunday, not a day anyone wants to cook, thighs sounded soooo good! As soon as we walk in, not a hello or anything! Hour later, I walked in, and you could tell the whole vibe of people who were waiting to get there food was extremely annoyed. After a couple of minutes waiting, I knew why. Take your money somewhere else Tried this chain for the first time per word of mouth from a friend in another state and ignored the bad reviews. Eight kids working = 3 masks actually covering faces, zero gloves being worn while touching food, 1 leaning on counter no mask touching face, 3 on cell phones including one of the managers. I calmly asked to speak to a manager several times and was told they were too busy. I started recording video and was told it was ilegal and I had to leave. Worst Wingstop I've ever been to. I usually try to avoid this Wingstop since I know it's going to be busy. We decided to go tonight since it's close and we were hungry. I ordered online and arrived 30 minutes after I placed my order. I got there and the lobby was full of people already waiting for their orders. The guy at the front wouldn't even acknowledge anyone walking in and was being rude. I asked if my order was ready and he said it would be ready in a couple minutes. Be sure to order for pickup and not delivery, so you can check your order. Three out of three times they have gotten our delivery order wrong: once they didn't do all flats tho it was specified on the online order (and we paid the extra $3 for them), once they got a flavor wrong & once we were shorted two wings on a ten wing order.
