I would highly recommend Ryan @ #1 Tech Support!! He is super-helpful, definitely knows his stuff. Ryan comes off as a genuine, no-BS person. He helped upgrade our old desktop to be a server with Windows Essentials so we can use it for network storage and backup. Ryan was even willing to do remote control support to manage the cost side, because we are non profit. Even so he kept me in the loop the entire time, with updates along the way. Thank you again Ryan will be back in touch if I need anything else!!! read more

I highly recommend Blackhawk! For about two months my computer was losing information, slowed to a crawl, and messing things up. I depend on my computer for so much, especially in my businesses. Former computer 'experts' would mess around and finally hack fix most difficulties, but none of them responded as i became more desperate. Usually I don't leave many praises online, however the great team of Ryan, Ronnie, and Stephan analyzed the problems with my computer and related microsoft difficulties quickly and efficiently. They had me up and running in no time. They have the expertise to fix the many problems I was having and they also can help with building websites and other related services. Now I'm planning on integrating them throughout my computer and website services to help everything continue to run smoothly. Call Blackhawk MSP first and feel safe and secure using their services. read more

Blackhawk MSP [Mobile] 1 (925) 218-400 I had the best experience ever with a tech support company yesterday. My old laptop which I had not used for over a year was not able to load turbotax. (yea I know....that's another story) anyway I spent hours trying to figure it out and then called TurboTax and a couple hours with them... ugh. Got a beer watched a few FB reels and remembered hey.. someone had posted on Next Door comments about a great experience with Blackhawk MSP (925) 218-4000. I went to their web site and they have a remote support offering for $40. I signed up and they called me back within hours. Had me back up and all is well with said old computer. Absolutely best experience great value.. Blackhawk MSP [Mobile] 1 (925) 218-4000 read more

Ryan is a very talented computer technician with years of experience. He served me so well that I am going to refer him to all of my friends and family, especially Grandma...LOL. He is clear, concise, friendly, and always willing to help. Do not look elsewhere because you won't find this quality of service and care at a better price. Thank you so much Ryan. read more

My computer died. I called Ryan at 6PM on a Saturday and he told me to drop it off. I had dropped it off by 7PM and at 9PM he called and it was all fixed. My drive had died so he replaced it and re-installed Windows. So happy with such a quick turn around on a Saturday night! read more

Wonderful experience. Ryan is a sweetheart. Had to replace the hard drive and copy the windows image from the backup. He came with another guy Attila (not sure if I got the name right) and took care of the work very efficiently. Both were professional and proficient. Prices are very reasonable. Would certainly recommend them. read more

Very great customer support and technical skill! Highly recommended for all your IT needs, they are very knowledgeable and friendly!

I appreciate the prompt response from Ryan.  He let me know one of his assistany, Aleks, will be contacting me shortly.  Aleks was flexible in meeting me the same day we'd spoken!  I was glad the fix for my laptop wasn't extremely complex and Aleks was able to quickly diagnose the issue.  He was helpful in recommending other programs I could use in the interim while I figure out how to restore my Office Suite programs with the registration key accessed through student program. I ended up having to re-purchase the program and was able to reach out to Ryan was helped clarify some of the differences in program options for me.  This entire process is overwhelming for those like myself that aren't very computer savvy, so having Ryan's guidance was so reassuring and Aleks' quick response. read more

I would highly recommend #1 Tech Support!! Last week, I updated Microsoft 365 on my work laptop. After the update, I couldn't get to my PST files on my external hard drive, where everything is housed. I didn't realize this until yesterday, Monday. I was FREAKING OUT. Seven years of emails and documents were on the external drive. I found this company by typing in computer repair near me. I chose this company because of the ratings. I called the number and Ryan picked up. I explained my situation. I gave control of my laptop so that he could see what I was talking about. It couldn't be fixed remotely, so I gave him my external drive, along with a new external drive to see if he could recover anything. If so, to copy everything to the new drive. His office is being renovated, so he graciously offered to meet me where it was convenient for me, not him. He kept me in the loop the entire day. Guess what? I GOT MY NEW EXTERNAL DRIVE THIS MORNING AND ALMOST ALL OF MY FILES WERE RECOVERED!!! He is still working on a few PST files, but to know that most of my documents and PST files from SEVEN years were recovered - AMAZING!!!! I almost cried from relief. Ryan took the time to explain what was going on with my external drive. He made our meet point easy for me. He didn't promise me anything unrealistic. He also didn't charge me until AFTER he was able to recover anything. He remotely set up my new hard drive for me and showed me how to recover/recover Outlook PST files in the future. He didn't have to do that. He could have kept that to himself so that I'd have to call for assistance again. The price for this was SO reasonable. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. The stars would be for knowledge, professionalism, calm, kindness, reasonable fees, and good old fashioned excellent customer service, which is so rare nowadays. I will totally keep his contact information and refer anyone I know to him. Thank you again Ryan!!! You seriously saved me from having a nervous breakdown. :) read more

RV I am an IT tech for the past 23 years, 12 of those years I was employed by IBM as a lead tech. After I left IBM, I became an independent IT contractor and to date I completed 732 IT jobs with 91 clients and 99% of them awarded me 5 star ratings. Few weeks ago I accepted a work order from Ryan Smith the owner of Blackhawkmsp for a fee to repair a desktop in Fremont Ca. When I arrived at the site the next day I found out the scope of the work has changed. Not only he gave me the wrong desktop model and specs, he also did not tell me that he troubleshot the desktop with the owner of this particular business over the phone for a long time. At the site I found the lid and the Bessel of the desktop open and after several attempts to reboot the machine I concluded the desktop has major problems. Since I was there, I troubleshot the desktop for over 4 hours including a trip to the computer part store to purchase a hard drive and a memory stick. The standard pay rule in this field is when agreed for a fix pay, the pay is for 2 hours or less. When I asked him for more pay, he refused even refused to pay me at all. Finally I was paid for the first 2 hours after I threaten him with court action. Ryan the owner is very dishonest, unreliable person. He lies to get out paying your fee. He lied to me 9 times and the last two lies that I don't know what a computer is and also that I don't know how to install a hard drive. (Laughable, childish and delusional lies) Business owners and my fellow techs I recommend you make sure you cover all your bases before you accept to work with Blackhawkmsp. I will await to hear more lies from him after he rebuttals my review of him. read more

Ad read "Any computer problem fixed" after speaking with someone they gathered some info regarding my issue then told me they will reach out to a technician and call me back immediately. I received no call back a few hours later I reached out again and he said he couldn't help me. I asked why as I plan to call around and maybe you know something I don't that would save me time. He didn't have a answer and simply said he couldn't help. An ad that brags on reviews, has a headline can fix any problem , very misleading not happy. read more

On a Friday night, weekend of a Holiday, I'm starting another job and my Network Jack in my bedroom is not working. The modem is in the basement, two-stories away from my desk/home office. I am in panic mode and I don't know what to do. I'm calling techs in Kansas City for assistance, hoping someone will be crazy enough to come to my house at 9pm and help me prepare for a 7am meeting. In walks Ahmed (Walking Angel) and he fixes EVERYTHING. My goodness he was so nice and informative and polite and helpful and patient and ....... He taught me so much in 30 minutes, including French!!! YES I said 30 minutes, he had me fixed in 30 minutes. I am tying this review on the network connection he setup for me. He saved the day, weekend, year and so much more. Thank you so very much Ryan and Ahmed. read more
