The best bakery in the Tri-cities!! The pastries are mouthwatering and the ambiance is perfect. (Wish they had more staff because it's always a long wait in line.) But delicious bakery goods!!

If you come to this area you will hear about this establishment. It 1000% lives up to the hype. The chess bars were to die for! Followed closely by the crème brûlée. Everything I took a taste of was delicious. It is an amazing building and the staff all need raises for their friendly demeanor and quick steps. Great if you need to take something to clients or need a spot to park and work with a sweet snack.

Yep... the real deal! A quaint and well thought out bakery that is absolutely adorable and serves the most delicious treats and coffee. There are multiple locations, but we went to the one that is on Piedmont. Plenty of parking and tons of indoor seating, as well as a great area outside with umbrellas for your comfort. Walking in you are whisked back to an old time bakery and your eyes are just darting all over the bakery cases! The amount of options is very intense. You really want to order half of the case. There are cookies, cakes, bars, croissants, mini pies, donuts, etc. It's impossible to mention every single one. They even have bird bites and nesties which they have created to keep with their name. They even have quiche and some other breakfast options. For low carb, they had crust less quiche. All look absolutely amazing. We ordered the orange icing donut and a danish cookie, as well as two coffees. The danish cookie was delightful. The donut - no words. Order a dozen or two. Clouds of happiness and the orange icing was wonderful. The coffee was great. Went with a regular and the dark roast. Ended up taking a pound home. This is a happy place. Every worker greets you with a smile and is very helpful. You can tell they are very community oriented. Just a lovely vibe. A terrific and fabulous place!!!

I stumbled across this very quaint and cute local bakery! The minute I walked in, the aroma of all the pastries immediately hit me! The ambiance is very nice and inviting. There's also plenty of seating and parking, too! It's perfect for a cute date night or even a late night dessert with friends. The employees were super friendly and very patient with me as I browsed the entire selection of baked goods! The choices were numerous which made my decision so much harder! The bakery is open until late (10pm on a Wednesday!) and I arrived around 8pm, still having a wide variety of options to choose from. I decided on the delicious cinnamon bun that you see in the attached video, however the video does not do it any justice! It is EASILY the best cinnamon bun I've ever had. I also got a chocolate chip cookie. It's my go to whenever I'm trying a new bakery, I must try a chocolate chip cookie. It did not disappoint! It was the perfect amount of chocolate, very soft and oh so delicious! If you're ever in Bristol, VA or in the surrounding area, be sure to stop by and check these folks out, you'll be glad you did!

This prominent shop is on the Virginia side of Bristol, in an area with small side streets and not a lot else around. It has two floors and offers tons of options. The ice cream is from a Roanoke area place; I didn't feel compelled to get it but it is high quality cream. The baked goods spread was indulgent. What these creations lacked in subtlety, they possessed in sweetness. I sampled a couple and shared the rest. The cookie covering on my oreo donut was a bit excessive. If you can find some balance and eat something less sweet as well, these are some nice-looking pastries.

One of the best donuts I've ever had! They specialize in the almond pink cream, which is delicious. I also ordered a raspberry filled. The atmosphere is wonderful too. There are even outdoor seats with umbrellas. He's super special place.

I've been to Blackbird so many times but wanted to finally write a review. Most recently I went a couple days before Christmas. Even with a line out the door, I was served quickly by friendly staff and they had plenty of baked goods in stock. I have never had a bad experience at Blackbird and everything always tastes so fresh and homemade. Plus sitting with some friends in a clean, warm environment makes it even better.

This bakery is drive through only and has a limited menu but the donuts are delicious. They tasted freshly made and the coffee is strong and rich. They offer cake donuts, which are my favorite, but none were available. On Thursday, the offer the birthday cake donut and on Saturdays the strawberry cake donut is available. Very kind employee too.

Their Cakes and Cupcakes are Amazing, Beautiful and Delicious! Never a fail!!! Amazing selection of bakery items. I had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was like a pocket sandwich. It was tasty. Ordered a dozen donuts to go and the variety was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly. It's located in an old Masonic temple. Inside there was plenty of seating.
