I love, love, love the the chicken cranberry quiche! But today I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the green apple salad. Very disappointed. The only fruit that is supposed to be in it is green apples and cranberries. It had strawberries in it. I didn't know it until after 4 bites... I'm allergic to strawberries! I had a slight reaction but okay. Please don't add to the ingredients unless asked! If there has been a change, please update the menu. I'm not looking for anything, just making you aware. What an incredible place such a great atmosphere and some of the best coffee I've had in my life. Cute little eatery in downtown Kingsport. Free street parking and also a free parking lot across the street. Came with a friend for lunch who loves their quiche. I tried their Reuben and Arcadian Salad. The beef on the Reuben was thickly sliced and a bit tough. Overall the flavors of the kraut, cheese, and bread were good. That salad with their house (poppyseed dressing) is delicious! I would order the salad again. And those tiny muffins! Y Funny signs all around to read while you wait for your meal or chat with a friend. Friendly servers and quick service. There's indoor and outdoor seating. They also have coffee and dessert. Nice little place. Convenient if you happen to be downtown. Staff friendly and has outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Food is somewhat quirky. Guessing people will mostly love it or hate it. Definitely a little different. Don't get me wrong, it's not that we couldn't eat the food but we certainly didn't bother finishing. Neither my wife or I really cared much for the food. Based on the prices, which seemed a little high for what we got, we're not planning on going back. But hay, go ahead and try it. It's a little different and you never know.
