This is an exceptional inn. The owners are fully vested in this place and the rooms are magnificent. The main house is quaint, comfortable, and welcoming, and we could loiter here without even seeing the rest of the town. 100% worth staying here.

The Blackberry Inn B&B is so charming and perfect. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, the owners are amazing and so inviting. Perfectly situated walking from the sights of Camden that you just want to come and stay forever. Reserve early in your trip planning, as they generally stay fully booked, with good reason! We just loved it!!!!

Oh my word. This place is everything I could have asked for and more. My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and we truly do not want to leave. The food was AMAZING. I was so blown away with how beautiful the room was and how amazing the owner was. She took such amazing care of us and we cannot wait to come back! 1000% would recommend staying here if you want an amazing experience in Camden.

Friendly & helpful inn-keepers, beautiful rooms, comfy beds, clean, soft linens, plenty of towels. The breakfast was excellent. Bob, owner #1, is also the cook. Alhough we gave them a 6pm notice of a need for a vegan breakfast, he did not phone it in with oatmeal & fruit. Instead it was a lovely potato-spinach-mushroom saute instead of the regular breakfast tacos (also wonderful) and he even found a coconut milk yogourt to make the parfait with. Cam, owner #2, runs a tight ship, gave us some great advice on sight-seeing and the area in general. Highly recommended. Sorry- forgot to take photos of the food before we ate it!

Historic Inn, built in the mid-1800s. They have 2 properties. One is in a lovely grey and burgundy Victorian. The other, right next door in a restored farmhouse. Very cozy. We stayed in the farmhouse. It has been restored and has about 6 suites I think. The breakfast served is great. it isn't huge but it isn't the bagel, yogurt ,cereal crap you get at other B&Bs. We had a luscious baked apple and then blueberry pancakes with fresh maple syrup and homemade sausage. The coffee is great and is always available in the lobby of the Victorian. Also a tea service. Check out is at 11 am. The staff is so nice and they let us stash our bags in the lobby while we went to the local crafts fair in Camden for a few hours. That was a big plus for us! I recommend The Blackberry Inn. It is reasonable and you can walk to town.

We loved Abigail's B&B!…read more 1. It's an easy walk to downtown Camden and a very short drive to Rockport and Camden Hills State Park 2. The property if beautiful and very well maintained inside and out, plus they have ample off-street parking 3. Dave and Stephen are fantastic hosts and are super helpful with local tips and recommendations 3.1 So was Dave's cousin from Massachusetts who was 'only visiting,' but also helping out while we were there 4. Their breakfasts are amazing (and Dave is willing to share his recipes) 5. They attract repeat guests that are also super nice (we hope to become repeat guests ourselves) 6. It's not a huge -- it's a more intimate and quiet B&B that can accomodate all of their breakfast guests in one seating 7. They have their own chickens (and fresh eggs) 8. Lots of little/nice touches that add up to a wonderful stay Based on the various reviews on several sites we looked at before we booked our trip, we had every reason to suspect we would love our stay at Abigails. Ed and Joan, the Innkeepers, made us feel very welcome and were very informative. The location is perfect for anyone taking a morning Ferry to Vinalhaven or North Haven. It is also convenient for a walk through Rockland's beautiful downtown shopping area. Most of the rooms have a view of the harbor. We chose a room without that view but found it perfect for our one night stay. The room was spotless, had a comfortable bed, plenty of drawer space and a private bathroom. There is 24 hour coffee and tea station and a welcoming front room full of reading materials, games, and other interesting items. The front porch is another perfect place to relax and view the harbor. Ed is also the chef and served a wonderful breakfast of tomato and broccoli frittata, mixed fruit, fresh baked muffins and scones. Breakfast also included Ed's very tasty cornmeal pancakes, which I topped off with genuine Maine Maple syrup! We will become regulars as we return to Vinalhaven Island each year to visit our family. And have already recommended it to other family members headed to the island!

The breakfast alone is worth the stay. Rooms are minimalist but functional, beds are comfortable and the place is clean. I can only imagine what it takes to upkeep a place like this so hats off to Ed and Joan. My only comment would be the tv's could use an upgrade (it was tiny) ... not that we even turned it on. A Black Friday run for some flat screens would be a major value upgrade. We also loved that they were open to a one night stay (weeknight) , which is exactly what we needed. The few other places we called all had 2 night minimums which was pretty frustrating for a last minute weeknight escape.

She was so friendly and went above and beyond in discussing which area restaurants and attractions would best suit us. We woke up both mornings, to a delicious homemade breakfast which was served on the beautiful and glistening sun porch while lovely classical music played in the background. The service that was provided by both mother (Kim) and daughter (Lauren) was exquisite and warm. Our room was bright, sunny, clean and just the right size for the two of us, as was the private bathroom. Each room was decorated beautifully with vintage type plates throughout...a theme soooo fitting for the style and feel of this home. A special addition to our "sweet" stay, were the delicious home baked cookies that were left out in the afternoon. They were so good that we would peak around the corner each time we arrived back to the house, with hopes of seeing a new batch!
