For reference, I'm a brand new rider with less than a month of riding experience. If you're reading a review on this place, you were likely in my shoes at some point. New to bikes, mostly uninformed about the necessities of accessories and the importance of gear. I went to 4 other places in search of all my items as these things were (un)surprisingly expensive. All I needed at this point was a jacket but I'm a large guy and most places cater to the sportbike enthusiasts where all their gear was slim build which....I am definitely not. I stand at 6'1 with a 50" chest. I usually wear xlt shirts but apparently in bike gear, I'm a 2-3x which not a lot of stores carry. My general area is fairly limited in motorcycle stores but I ended up stumbling across this one by accident and man, am I glad I did. The owner walked me through their entire inventory, had me try on everything, explaining the whys and why nots of certain gear types and did push anything obviously expensive or unnecessary on me. I cant tell you how much I appreciated this whole process. When the owner shows they care about what YOU want, that quickly becomes the store I trust. I'm more than a quick buck. Especially when it comes down to safety while riding, what you wear is paramount to a sale. Now prices weren't bad, you can definitely find cheaper deals online but nothing beats trying on the stuff upfront and getting a professional opinion on the items. Friendly, knowledgeable, super inviting. I'll be coming here for any and all my gear needs. Too bad they're not a mechanic shop also as I'd definitely trust my bike with them too.

Nice place to stop in for some souvenirs. They have a decent t-shirt collection and a pretty good clearance rack.

Ordered a akoury helmet on line from them yesterday and this morning , mail man delivered it . Helmet fits great and the online service is fantastic. From reading all the reviews seems like the store is just as great . Need to make a trip to visit store .

Great store for biker clothing, leather jackets, helmets, boots, patches and accessories ! Very neat and fully stocked, and whatever they don't have they will order it for you. The owners are very friendly ! will definitely go back !!

It's lights years ahead of my old helmet. The stability it gives you when riding at highway speeds its simply beyond amazing. The fit and comfort this helmet gives you is unlike anything else. My old helmet gave a huge amount of buffeting so much so that the road would become blurry. The entire crew is just simply amazing and they need to get credit for their great effort.

TLDR: Heroic makes a good suit, but their post purchase product support is better than any company…read moreI've ever seen in any industry. I discovered Heroic online after realizing one of the major items holding back my motorcycle riding was the poor fit of my motorcycle gear. If it was properly sized in one place it was off in another, and I was tired of trying to make compromises. I'd never heard of the brand (they're still unknown out west mostly) but came up in searches. After researching the brand and seeing a solid reputation I decided they were who I wanted to do my suit. I'll jump forward and say after receiving the suit my support has been amazing. I have spoken with Todd, the owner, a number of times. A few issues came up (a seam on my gloves I wanted reinforced, the 'grip pad' on the inner knee getting beaten up by my StompGrip) and he had ready solutions at hand. Then I ended up in New York and ran by the shop -- this was an amazing experience. He did all my measurements himself to update my sheet and make sure they were done right, and we went over my suit together to check the fit and see if there was anything else he might want to adjust. Once riding season is over, I'm sending the suit in for a polish pass. That polish pass isn't needed, the suit is great, but I'm looking forward to every improvement he can make on the already great fit. The downsides: When I ordered the suit business was super busy. I had a fairly specific/unique design in mind and it took a while for the two of us to get on the same page. This was frustrating but ended up working out and now that I have my suit I understand how much attention he pays to making sure his existing customers are able to keep riding. My recommendation: Heroic is amazing, hands down. I'd highly advise that you head to his shop, if possible, if you're getting a suit. He knows how he wants the measurements done and hashing design details out in person is far faster than via e-mail. Even if you do it all online though, the resulting product is still top notch.

I was told it would take around three days due to them being backed up and short-staffed, which I understood and was fine with. On the third day, I called to check in, only to be told that they hadn't even looked at my tires. The person on the phone was dismissive and arrogant, telling me they were very busy with other customers and that tires "aren't their priority." Not exactly what you want to hear after waiting patiently. I went down to the store to pick up my tires, and was told they were currently being worked on. I waited another 30-40 minutes, only to be told that their tire machine had broken--after another customer's set had gone through. At that point, I just took my tires and left. While the store may be decent for gear and general motorcycle accessories, the service department is poorly managed. Lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer respect made this a frustrating experience. If you're looking to get tire work done in a timely and reliable way, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
