Order at the counter. The service was great, super friendly guy that seemed to be helping everyone. Chill environment. Some tables playing games, football on tv. Beer was very tasty. I had the Pale ale very smooth and crisp and hubby had the Sunset ale which was bright and fruity. Food was decent, typical American. We had cheesy breadsticks which was basically a cheese pizza cut up into strips served with a side of cold marinara. Caesar salad was decent, it wasn't mixed, dressing & cheese just on top. Italian stack was good and what you would expect, not bad and not exceptional. Hot honey pepperoni pizza was a special. Thin chewy crust, thin layer of cheese & pepperoni. The hot honey was not spicy at all but the sweetness over the pepperoni was the star. Great spot for good beer, reliable American food, and to chill.

We visited Blackbeard's Brewing on July 7th, after setting up camp at the state park. No one wanted to cook and decided to give them another try (went back in November of 2024), and glad we did. One granddaughter and I tried the "Just the Single" smash burger, my son the "Fire in the Hole" and my other granddaughter got the child's grilled cheese. My burger was loaded with fresh tomato, lettuce, onion and a huge burger that was larger than the soft bun. The burger was made exactly how I asked and just enough special sauce to give it the extra blend of mouth watering deliciousness. My granddaughter said the same thing. My son's burger had two 1/4 lb patties, habanero jack cheese, sauteed jalapenos, lettuce, onion, tomato and special sauce. He couldn't eat it all. He said it was the perfect blend of "hot" and tasted really good. His only complaint, he said no onion, but they put onion on. My other granddaughter was happy with her grilled cheese. All came with beer battered fries that were scrumptious. There is so much to these burgers and fries, you could share a meal and come out full and happy.

Great variety of food. Yummy locally brewed beer and cider. Friendly and helpful staff. Even got to taste the cranberry cider to make sure I liked it. Normal pub experience. Clean area for table and chairs louse outdoor seating.

We were nearby at the winery/distillery and one of the people suggested this place to us. I'm glad they did. We stopped in on a weds evening and it was moderately busy. I had the pizzandwich and my wife had pizza. The spicy cheese curds were also delicious. Service was really good, especially given the line in such a small shop. We sat outside. It was great being out in the open air on such a beautiful day. The beer was quite good, but nothing really stood out. I had a porter and took a can of the strawberry blonde with me. I'm a dark beer guy generally, so more of those would be welcomed but not expected. It would however give me more to review. ;)

    Small pepperoni pizza.

This the best pizza and beer in Westport. It's a local hangout and very popular the fishing folk. The beer has a limited selection but well crafted. The pizza is good too and reasonably priced.

The covered outside area (and a Ghostship IPA).

This place is perfectly set up for the pandemic. You wait in line to place your order and they give you your beer right there and a beeper for your food. There's a small amount of indoor seating and a large amount of outdoor seating, some of it covered and heated, all very cute. They've got a great selection of beer on tap, including seltzer and a a few guest taps of seltzer. I had the ghostship IPA which was great - bitter but not too bitter, and very drinkable. I ordered a pizza and brownie to go, both packaged very well, including putting the cold ice cream in a different box than the hot brownie, which was much appreciated. The pizza was really good - we got the Hawaiian bbq chicken without bacon - a crisp crust, enough toppings to seem plentiful without getting soggy, and a sweet and salty flavor. The brownie was also good, a nice chocolate flavor, but maybe a bit over baked on the bottom. If we are in Westport again we will definitely stop by here again!

Not sure who the people are that gave this brewery less than what they deserve. Pizza was delicious, drinks were cold, atmosphere is great. Dogs are allowed, and lots of cuties outside today. We were excited to eat outdoors with our toddler, and how can anyone not like pizza? We ordered full tsunami and chicken bacon ranch pizza, the full tsunami comes with the works of all the toppings from pepperoni to onions olives sausages. So good, the crust is thin, sauce is savory, and all is wonderful. We ordered a basket of fries for my toddler, and they were amazing as well. The seasoning reminds me of Arby's fries without the curliness.

Both kids ate frys. Devoured them. Fry sauce is spicy. Respectable beer. Service was kind of under staffed, but ok.

2.5 stars...My husband said his beer was fantastic and he would rate it 5 stars off of that... but…read morethe food was awful. We had the buffalo chicken wrap (didn't even use buffalo sauce, it tasted like ranch and hot sauce and seemed to have chicken nugget type chicken inside ), the pizza pretzel (bland flavors, seemed pulled from a freezer and the marina was cold) and the pulled pork sandwich...which was just megh. If you're stopping, stick to the beer! They do that very well.

On our way back north, we stopped by Mount Olympus Brewery. It was quite quiet, especially since it was a Sunday and not many people were there. We were just me and two other friends, so we decided to sit at the bar and have a few drinks. The place was fairly quiet, and they had a TV in the bar area, which was pretty cool. We ended up watching the NBA Finals game seven. The servers were amazing--down-to-earth, very personable, and they made us feel very welcome. Maybe because it wasn't that many people there, but anyway, I don't think that was an issue. There were great people there. They had plenty of options on draft and bottled/ canned , but I sampled two stouts on draft. The one that I liked the most was the Blood of Hades, which is a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout that aged for 12 months. I really enjoy the flavors of bourbon, char, and chocolate, hence the vanilla, and combined with bursting flavors of cinnamon, spice, and dark chocolate. It's by far earned its place in my top 5% of styles that I've drunk in multiple regions. I should definitely return here in the near future and indulge some more because this place seems pretty cool. It's very quiet and peaceful. I recommend coming to Mount Olympus Brewery if ever in Aberdeen.

But the inattentive and semi-passive FOH staff made it difficult…read more They're still a newer storefront in Oly, in time they may grow and reflect better customer service. Pros: Chill lounge/sitting area at the front corner with sofas, a low bar (accessibility friendly) and board games. Big tables to accommodate groups and various bar seating. Large brewery menu screens with large range and the food looked good. Tbh we came for brews so can't comment on food. The Wildman Beer brand was so-so. Some better than others! Cons: FOH staff interaction. Why we love pubs/breweries is because of the chill, friendly, conversational flow of FOH; their knowledge of the beers and/or cocktails, their passion for sharing it with new customers so they come back again and again ... this vibe fell short at Wildman. TL;DR Good for a basic group of people looking for a brewery experience in town with room for large groups. Not for those who are expecting an awesome brewery experience -- a la PDX, DEN, PHX, ATX or SEA.

But when I saw that they opened up a location in Olympia and Steve and I were going to Olympia for a show it made perfect sense to go to this new location. Downtown where our show was is super walkable and this brewery is right there. When we went in what escaped my attention at the Raymond location was that I was particularly impressed with their own mead selection. And the mead did not disappoint in the slightest. The first mead I had was their Oak Aged Classic Mead. Such fantastic balance in body and the oak flavor was truly impressive! I got another mead from the list, the Sneaky Bastard Meer. It's called meer I believe due to the five different kinds of hops they put into it. Great floral and honey flavored highlights! Our experience here was excellent! Steve enjoyed his drink selections as well! Definitely returning for more mead enjoyment!
