We loved checking out the Black Walnut Cafe at the Conroe Airport. It was really cool to see the planes take off on the runway while eating our lunch. We really enjoyed chicken wraps, pork belly blt, & burger. It was a really nice setup to sit inside or outdoors and you order at the counter or at the table. If you order at the counter they give you a tracker and they find you to deliver your food. This was a great experience!

Food and service are always excellent. I ordered the Avacado toast with eggs this morning. Ahmed had the cinnamon roll French toast with eggs. Can't go wrong with that!

First time here as new transplants from California, and we love it! The food was great, chicken and waffles - YUM! The customer service is beyond exceptional. Our server, Abby was gracious and very knowledgeable about the menu choices. The view of the aircrafts landing and taking off was spectacular!!! We will be back for sure!!! Oh, the Bloody Mary was greeaaattttttt!!!!!

Went for lunch with our office. The food was great and the service was great also. We had Thai lettuce wraps for an appetizer and my entree was the fish tacos. Everything was superb. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Wow! First, I would like to say I was pleasantly surprised. Driving into an airport for breakfast was a bit off putting, once I got to the 3rd floor, wow! The classic Pan Am posters, light music, and distant chattering of voices and plates clinging really made it a great atmosphere! Not to mention the view of the trees and planes flying. The service is great as well, thank you Brianna for tending to me and my date. Everyone had a smile and was happy to help us for our first time. And of course, the food was great. The potatoes were crispy, aromatic and fresh. The chicken sausage was juicy and had a snap. Pancakes were also fluffy and blueberries on top had a fresh snap as well. Finally the eggs were perfect as well. This place definitely deserves a 5 stars. It will be our main Sunday breakfast place from now on!

Right in the midst of Conroe Regional Airport, this is a great place to eat and watch the arrival and departures of local air traffic. There isn't a bad seat in the house, but if you want to be at the window, grab a table when it's open and have someone else place your order in the line. Service is good with the kitchen following up with questions about dietary needs. The food is the same Black Walnut menu we all know and love but for some reason our orders were all over cooked. Likely an anomaly.

It has to be Conroe's most unique hidden gem such a vibey relaxing atmosphere even tho it's at a airport lol. Review time Lobster Benedict: 9.6/10 huge chunks of lobster meat and hollandaise sauce was absolutely spot on even with that they still put some smoked applewood bacon on it.

Second time here and the food was delicious again. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and it was very thin. Very little chicken, more breading than meat. Ambience was nice- place was packed, but as soon as a table left, staff was immediately clearing it for the next customer. Well staffed and keeping up with the rush was nice. Didn't have to wait a long amount of time. Price was a little higher, but inflation has hit us all. Anyways, great experience this time as well.

I've only been here once but I enjoyed the food and ambiance. I had the fish plate. It was wonderful. The batter was light and crispy and the cod was cooked to perfection. My friend had the Wednesday special, turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich which I tasted. Now I have to go back just to have it. The portions are generous. You order at the bar/counter and they give you a buzzer but they brought the food to us. It was a little under $20.00 for lunch. I don't know if it's the same menu for dinner. The also serve wine and beer.

If you're looking for a great sunny place to get brunch with your girlfriends this is definitely the place! I had a very pleasant experience at Black Walnut Cafe with my friends. We all came in around 10:30 am on Monday. It didn't get busier until around 11:30- 12:00. The whole wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. We even had the manager Sana come check on us and she was a delight. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best that morning when we first arrived so we chose to sit inside but I guarantee the next time I come I'll be on the patio. I can only imagine the view from outside. The view inside was beautiful and watching some of the smaller planes flying was pretty cool. It's worth a try if you haven't been.

Even the sandwiches they sell are full of flavor and delicious the only thing is I wish they sold the sandwiches everyday/all day not just sometimes. The owners are kind and if you like conversation they always enjoy talking to their customers, on the same note I'm not big on small talk or making conversation and they never make me feel uncomfortable. **Be cautious of open and close times I've showed up more than once seeing they're closed because Google has the time wrong. **

I met my friend there at 10:00am. It was very quiet, which I like. The person taking the orders was Lilly. She was so sweet. She told us where she imports different ingredients from and how she uses the highest quality ingredients. She has a very extensive menu of both iced and hot coffees. There were also sandwiches and muffins. She told us that if we wanted something that wasn't on the menu, she would fix it for us. She asked me what flavors I like and what I don't like to help me make the best choice. I went with mocha coffee served hot. My friend got an iced drink called wedding cake. Both drinks were larger than I expected. I think 18 ounces but I may be mistaken. I was going to let mine cool off but she said it wasn't necessary. She was right! I was able to drink it right away. The temperature was perfect. It tasted great! My friend said her drink was awesome. The shop is delightful! There are several couches with coffee tables, some bar height table and stools as well. We sat on the couch and visited there until just after 1:00! A few people came in while we were there but they were all quiet and lept to themselves. There was some music playing but it wasn't loud at all. The setting is so peaceful and serene. The only picture I took was of a green vinyl couch because it reminded me of the one at my husband's frat house at SHSU in the mid 80s. I plan on going back again as soon as possible. I highly recommend Lilly's in Willis!

Why 5 stars? Because everything here was made of such high quality…read more --- --- --- I can't remember the last weekend that went by where I didn't consider visiting Ruah Cafe. The reviews were glowing, but to be honest, when I think about eating out, I'm usually not seeking gourmet toast. However, after one visit, I'm so mad I didn't visit earlier. It. Was. Awesome. I ordered the Sao Paolo and could tell after one bite that a 5-star review was incoming. I loved every bite of it and was only sad when it was over. But THEN, I tried my wife's "New York", which was a breakfast toast. My God, it ended up stealing the show. How do they make toast, eggs and bacon taste so amazing? There was definitely some kind of light syrup or something on it, so maybe that was the key? Either way, I could eat this every day of my life and not get tired of it. For dessert, we ordered the Brussels crepe and, you guessed it, it was also amazing. My favorite part is that it was sweet, but we did not feel gross afterward, which is a common occurrence after consuming too much sugar in our 40's. Everything about the experience felt very European: high quality, fresh ingredients. This includes no ice in our waters. But even our son's Orlando crepe was basic, but great. I am late in writing this review about 10 days after my visit, and just re-living it right now makes me want to go back again ASAP!

We just can't wait to go back! Now, having said that...the space is a little odd. The dining room is really a wide hallway, with several of the tables uncomfortably close to the restrooms. And the service is...casual? The ladies there are wonderful, they all seem fully invested in the place, but don't be in a hurry. We had to flag down our server for pretty much every request, including getting silverware, then again for ordering, and finally getting the check. You'd think that would condemn a place to no more than a 3 or 4-star review, but the food is SO GOOD that they can get away with it. We go to two restaurants a day (yes really) all around Conroe, The Woodlands, Magnolia and Montgomery. This just jumped into our Top 10, and maybe Top 5. Don't miss it!
