Stopped here while traveling through Springfield. (Sunshine St near Highway 65). Fairly small location, some indoor and outdoor seating. Clean. Staff was friendly. We came here on a recommendation because we had heard tell of marshmallow sweet potato fries and how wonderful they were. However, when we arrived, we found out that they don't serve the sweet potato fries at this location...What?!? That was a bummer. Moving on...I had the "bacon my heart" burger. The burger was actually really good. The lettuce was cool and crisp. The bacon was crispy and sweet. It was quite good overall. I paired it with the sea salt fries with truffle mayo. Watch out for the lemonade, almost too tart to drink. There are no condiments on the table. No drink station either. You have to order the sauce for your fries. They come in little cups. You get 2 free. Each additional one is 35 cents. The prices were good. They serve 3 different beers. They have a kids menu. They also have a gluten free bun. The place holds 52 people. We got our food quickly. The fries were crunchy on the outside. We were driving out of town and had to grab something quick so since Black Sheep offers a drive through, we ordered our 2 burgers, 1 fry, and 2 drinks to pickup at the drive through window. We paid the $28 and opened the bag when we hit I44. NO NAPKINS! So, we thought, we'll eat over their burger boxes, right? Came here after work about 30 minutes before close and got two single ugly cheeseburgers and an unsweetened tea. One was plain with just cheese and mine had everything on it, I asked for both of them to be well done as we like our meat cooked through which is our preference. My girlfriends burger was cooked mostly through and we didn't have a complaint about that. But mine is displayed in the picture so I called black sheep about 10 minutes til close and told them my situation. The person that answered the phone was named Gabriel and after telling her my situation she said she would hand me to her manager. I told her "manager" my situation and she continued to ask if I was sure that my burger was still raw because she said was in the kitchen during that time. After telling her this she told me that none of her managers were there and that she could write my name and number down and that I could expect a call. I said screw that and took my frustration here. I don't mind spending a little bit more on noticeably higher quality food and for a burger place they hit the nail on the head. It was our first experience here, We had the Jamaican and foodie burger. My girlfriend is on a keto diet and they were able to make it a lettuce wrap using our favorite butter lettuce and not cheap iceberg. The fries were amazing and that garlic aioli was on point! The next time we are in Springfield we ABSOLUTELY will be back! We were only able to pull through the drive through because of Covid 19 but that was a bummer because it looked very aesthetically pleasing and what a great craft beer selection! read more

I admit, the other locations have spoiled me. I am accustomed to lots of options, a nice beer selection...but this place is good for what it is. A quicker and more convenient Black Sheep location with better quality food than your traditional fast food places. They have less options than their larger locations, but this one still serves the Bleus Brothers, which is my favorite. Everything about it is glorious. It's probably still technically enough food for three people, but I don't care. There is motorcycle parking right up front, which was perfect. I've only been here on a bike so I can't speak for the other parking situations people have mentioned. The prices and portions are a bit less here...but honestly, when you're paying $9 or $10 for a burger anyway, you will be sad when they bring out the little baby portion of fries. The service is also lacking here. They do bring your food out to you but you have to go to the counter for refills (at least I did. I saw other tables getting refills but not ours). We also paid extra for cheese on the chicken sandwich--and the server even said "chicken with cheese" when she sat it down--and no cheese. I feel like in their rush to be an upscale fast food restaurant, they miss a few key details (like giving people what they pay for). read more

I love eating at Black Sheep Burgers, but sometimes the wait can be really long, which is why I'm so happy they created an ASAP location! The ASAP menu is very similar to the other locations, however some of the portions are smaller and are less expensive. I like to try a new burger every time I go to black sheep and so far I have not been disappointed. Some of my favorite burgers are "the foodie" and the chicken bijan sandwich, last week I also tried the "bacon my heart" burger, which was also delicious. If you are dining at one of the regular Black Sheep locations, you HAVE to try the truffle 'n' parmesan fries. read more
