Coffee shop right by the subway. Clean, quaint with some window counter seating and small tables. FYI no public restrooms. They have seasonal and homemade syrups and a selection of pastries. Got a peppermint mocha which was strong on the peppermint but not too sweet which was great. The blueberry crumb and lemon poppy seed muffins were both delicious even though it was on the pricey side ($5.50 per). Staff and service were friendly and quick!

I snagged a spontaneous matcha latte when in the area recently. It's definitely a spot for regulars and newbies, alike. The barista was nice and casually chatty - not awkwardly so. It was definitely one of the best matcha lattes I've ever gotten! I wish I could be a regular here.

I recently discovered this gem of a coffee cafe. It's small, cozy, clean and the vibe is friendly. The barista's make you feel welcome. I love their turmeric latte, one of my favorites. The matcha is very well made. I am now hooked on their raspberry mocha latte. The raspberry flavor is just perfect. It's nice to have a new coffee alternative especially, when I spend so much time in the neighborhood.

Cheerful atmosphere. The baristas are very personable and efficient. The cortado was perfect yesterday. Tried their espresso this morning, again superbly done!

4.0 / 5.0 Cafe on 3rd Ave. The Cafe is so clean that there is not a single piece of trash on the floor. The staff served me with a smile. The lattes were carefully brewed one by one.And latte was very tasty. what I ordered was : ・Latte ・Hot cacao

    Hot latte with whole milk

I always come here for a simple hot latte and it is truly the BEST. So smooth and tasteful. You HAVE to try their banana Nutella bread. 10/10

I was walking around nearby and trying to find a boutique coffee place for light breakfast and coffee. And a quiet place for some work. It looks dark on the outside. And once entered, the insides is actually warm and brighter than I expected since it is cloudy outside. There is enough table and side bar seats along window. It does get busy every now and then. The environment is pretty nice, and it feels peaceful here. Cappuccino tastes pretty good. Blueberry muffin is slightly sweeter for my taste, since I don't have a sweet tooth.

But I had a craving one morning for some sugar and 'Dough' was on my way. I walked in and realized one of their donuts was going to at least spread out for over 2 days for me. The flavors looked so delicious. I decided to go for 'Toasted Coconut'. Amazing nutmeg-y finish and I have to say I love the yeastiness of the donut - did not feel like straight up sugar, but felt like a complex cake/bread - the sourness did come through. The donut has body and texture. My donut world has changed from now on. If I encounter donut people, I will definitely recommend this place. And maybe next year try one of their other amazing flavors. It did cost me $6.80 but I'm telling you these are gigantic - one for 2 people I'd say. The place is simple, cute and clean - standard NYC modern shop. So not much to report here.

Just so you know, I don't have any pictures of it because I ate it immediately! Don't judge me. 5/5 I also had the strawberry shortcake. Very fresh, nice texture, soft throughout. I reminded me of a strawberry crunch cake without the cake taste. I like donuts to taste like donuts despite the name and flavors. 5/5 I swear y'all I wanted the blueberry lemon with the oat crumble, but I had to get outta there before I ate another thing. But we were coming back from the city around lunch time and we made a little delicious detour, and I was so happy we did so!! Line was not crazy so I was in and out in about 15 minutes. My wife and I love yeast donuts for the honey dipped, sugar raised, Boston cream and jelly, so PP's donuts are right up our alley! Texture and flavor were amazing! Only critique, the cream and the jelly were a little chemically tasting than we prefer. There is a place on LI that burned down, House of Donuts, that are probably the only ones better bc their fillings do not have that chemically taste. The blueberry buttermilk, the apple fritter and apple pie donuts are also must gets if you like cakier donuts! We also got the sour cream and chocolate glazed donuts but they were just ok. Chocolate could have been a little chocolatier. All in all, really enjoyed but if House of Donuts was 5 stars, this would probably be 4.5 stars, which is still great!

It's when your egg-free brownies turn into a bubbling liquid mess the night before the office party and you don't have enough ingredients (or the will) to try again. The fact that they are open late is a godsend. Though the operation only looks like an oversized kiosk, they have quite a large selection. I was able to online order 2 dozen doughnuts no problem and still be spoiled for choice. The Tres Leches was the biggest hit. There were no leftovers to take back home despite my wishing there were. If it wasn't for my co-worker's egg allergy I would have never thought to come to this location. But the selection was up to par for their other location I visited in the past and they were just as fresh. If I ever have another need for emergency doughnuts I know just where to go.

This spot is one of the more well-known doughnut shops in the city, and after trying it, it's easy to see why. We ordered the Hazelnut doughnut and the Pistachio doughnut, and both were excellent. The Hazelnut doughnut had a rich chocolate flavor with crunchy hazelnut pieces on top that added the perfect texture. The Pistachio doughnut was lighter and had a great balance of sweetness with a nice pistachio flavor throughout. Both doughnuts were soft, fresh, and packed with flavor without being overly heavy. The location inside Grand Central gives it a really cool NYC vibe as well. It's the perfect stop to grab a coffee and doughnut while exploring the city or waiting for a train. Between the quality of the doughnuts and the atmosphere of Grand Central Station, this ended up being one of the best dessert stops from the trip.

Anyways, one order of the mini donuts, they are super customizable and if you need help picking and choosing flavors and toppings, the staff member can provide suggestions and pairings. The problem with massive strawberries is eating them. If I had a knife, I could cut them into smaller pieces as eating them on a skewer stick got really messy. The glaze twist is one of my favorites. It's wonderfully sweet while not cloying, and I especially enjoy topping it with the Bon Mama berry jam I have at home. The Boston creme is truly made with love. It's sufficiently stuffed with creme and topped with a thick layer of chocolate ganache - the expensive stuff! The coffee donut is also delicious.
