Black Press Coffee was a delightful stop with solid drinks and a little caffeine chaos. Setting: Cozy and compact, with limited seating but a great location super close to Central Park. Service: Fast moving despite the long line, we got through in about 10 minutes and lucked out with seats. Drinks: We sipped on the Americano and n Iced white chocolate raspberry latte. Clean and cozy coffee spot. Not a lot of seating but you can usually find a spot at a table or by the window counter area. They serve up a variety of hot and cold drinks of different flavors. Even specials such as lemonades which hit the spot on a very hot day. Not too far from the Q train station on 63rd and 3rd. I stop in when shopping nearby to have somethin to sip on. Got a peppermint mocha which was strong on the peppermint but not too sweet which was great. I recently discovered this gem of a coffee cafe. It's small, cozy, clean and the vibe is friendly. The barista's make you feel welcome. I love their turmeric latte, one of my favorites. The matcha is very well made. I am now hooked on their raspberry mocha latte. The raspberry flavor is just perfect. I was walking around nearby and trying to find a boutique coffee place for light breakfast and coffee. And a quiet place for some work. It looks dark on the outside. And once entered, the insides is actually warm and brighter than I expected since it is cloudy outside. There is enough table and side bar seats along window. It does get busy every now and then. The environment is pretty nice, and it feels peaceful here. Cappuccino tastes pretty good. Blueberry muffin is slightly sweeter for my taste, since I don't have a sweet tooth. read more

Ordered a matcha iced latte. When I tell you it seemed like I paid almost 8 dollars for a cup of whole milk. Disappointing taste, little to no matcha powder was added. The female employee seemed annoyed that I was ordering. Don't think it would've gone well for me if I asked to get my drink remade. The ambiance overall was unwelcoming. I'm only coming here when the guy with long hair and the girl with orange bangs work because they make the drinks right. Otherwise you're just going to be buying milk to drink. I came in today and got an iced coconut matcha latte and it just tasted like milky coconut. Update Review: I got served by the great guy with long hair again and a girl with blonde hair and glasses today, and the drink was perfectly fine! My review should now reflect the quality of what the cafe offers and not the uncontrollable bad experience I had previously. I received a gift card from the owner to retry items, so I think the passion for the cafe reflects not only through the food and beverages, but also wanting customers to enjoy their time read more

I got a latte with atleast 3-4 pumps of maple syrup and my boyfriend got a cappuccino with oat milk for unknown reasons. I accidentally reviewed wrong location but this is location I went to. Excellent coffee. Nice cool (as in temperature) space for first warm day of year. Spacious. Afternoon seems much more pleasant than reviews during rush times but I didn't feel rushed or crowded at all. Loved drink (Americano). Much better for chain coffee than that place from Seattle! read more

The Pistachio doughnut was lighter and had a great balance of sweetness with a nice pistachio flavor throughout. Both doughnuts were soft, fresh, and packed with flavor without being overly heavy. The location inside Grand Central gives it a really cool NYC vibe as well. It's the perfect stop to grab a coffee and doughnut while exploring the city or waiting for a train. Between the quality of the doughnuts and the atmosphere of Grand Central Station, this ended up being one of the best dessert stops from the trip.

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. The staff member I interacted with was extremely rude and unwelcoming, which made the whole visit uncomfortable. On top of that, the coffee was not good at all and definitely did not meet expectations. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
