5 Stars for Vietnamese coffee based lattes in a lovely ambiance! I stopped by recently and got a Vietnamese iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk and added an ube-flavored cold foam. NOTE: Vietnamese coffee is STRONG and has a deep flavor. I knew this ahead of time, but worth noting. Luckily, the sweetened condensed milk balanced this with lots of sweetness! The ube cold foam added a lovely flavor and I recommend enjoying some on top as well as trying to mix some of it in as well. The space offers free Wifi with plenty of seating, surrounded by incredible greenery and decor. I could definitely see myself bringing my computer and working from here - or taking an in-person meeting here. Great spot for a different coffee experience!

Matcha latte (iced) with almond milk
Gretchen K.

My friend heard about this place that sells coffee, tea, pastries, and plants not far from an estate sale we were at. We drove over and stopped in for a few lattes and a pastry. They have their own parking lot with a good amount of space to park - we went late morning and there were plenty of spaces. For those who are dairy free or have restrictions, they have non-dairy options for drinks. They are known for their flavored foam that can be added to drinks for an extra charge. I ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk and no sweetener. Drinks came out quickly and staff were polite and welcoming. There were a lot of places to sit - mix of tables, benches, and other seats. It's a chill space to work or hang out. Quality of the drinks was good. My friend liked her pastry as well.

I tried the ube matcha and it was good but a little bit too sweet for me. The Vietnamese coffee with pandan foam was very strong and needed a bit more sweetness in my opinion. The ambiance here is very aesthetically pleasing. There are plants and pots you can buy. Although there's tons of seating, they were all taken up. The service was good and we got our order in about 10 minutes.

Housed inside a collective there's plants, a crossfit community, and a coffee shop. Super cute. The Vietnamese coffee is well done!

This is such a cute coffee hang out spot. I loved the plants and all the little ready to buy decor. There is plenty of seating. The employees were great and happy to give us the run down on the specialities and tell us all about Vietnamese coffee. Warning: Vietnamese coffee is A LOT stronger than regular coffee. Which is great but drink it slowly ! lol

Delicious strong, Vietnamese, coffee ceremonial Matcha or anything in between they have it. This seems to be a great meeting place as both times I've been here it was packed. They have lots of treats to include gluten-free baked goods. Customer services, warm and friendly. I love the earthy feel with the plants surrounding as well as the spacious layout. You don't feel like you have to sit in silence, but at the same time, it doesn't have the hustle and bustle of some other places. It's a perfect blend.

Phin means coffee filter, the French inspired dripping coffee filter that Vietnamese turned into a popular image of their coffee. I have free time this morning, so I decidedbto stop by at Black Phin for a "cà phê sữa đá" ỏ Vietnamese iced cofee with ice. Relaxing ambiance, super friendly staff who leave you alone but if you need anything they would be attentive. I found an image of the Phin to share, and hope you like it.

Beef sandwich and horchata latte

The beef jaew sandwich was insanely good. I love Vietnamese mayo. It's so rich and creamy. And the roasted tomato chili chutney adds a nice spice and flavor. I would definitely come back and get it again. The horchata latte was good, but nothing special. I feel like I just haven't gotten the right drink yet, because I know people love their drinks, but I haven't been impressed so far. I've been here twice. It's a very cute cafe. Service is quick, but there can sometimes be a long line because it's a popular place.

Black Phin is a Vietnamese coffee bar inside The Harmon (the former Lombardi Seafood warehouse). They have extended evening hours until 9pm and a cozy seating area inside, which is nice for those who like a third space hang out after work on a weekday. I wasn't sure what I wanted so I asked the employee what he would recommend that was iced and not too sweet. He suggested the Vietnamese Coffee with Milk, and I subbed Whole milk for Oat milk. The coffee had a milder taste than regular drip coffee, and was smoother overall. Very refreshing!

A somewhat hidden gem! Located next to a CrossFit in a very industrial building, I almost didn't spot the entrance. It's located inside the Harmon Collective, and you'll find plants, ceramics and trinkets for sale as well as surrounding you everywhere. There's plenty of seating and free WiFi. I ordered an oat milk matcha that was rich and smooth. Their menu is limited, but they do offer seasonal drinks!

Best Viet coffee in town. Full stop! Chill vibes, good energy and solid cold foam options!

Plants being sold

I'd was interested to see what they did with the old Heavy location and I saw that they had turned into a coffee shop so I decided to check it out. Black Phin is a Vietnamese coffee shop. Upon walking in, I was surprised to see it still looked a lot like the old plant store. There was a good amount of seating throughout the main cafe space. The interior had the same furniture and still sold plants so that was really nice to see as someone who loved the old store. The baristas are always super sweet! I usually get the two younger guys when I go in and they're always so nice. They are happy to make any modifications to your drink. The menu is super limited so I always get the drip coffee with extra sweet and condensed milk. They don't really do flavorings for the coffee, but the sweet and condensed milk makes it super sweet and the perfect flavor. This place is definitely something you check out, especially if you love a basic quality drink!

Pottery for sale
Sara D.

This coffee shop has been on my list for a while, and I can see why people rave above it! An adorable rainbow walkway welcomes you to a warehouse style entrance to a cozy cafe adorned with pottery and plants. The aesthetic was absolutely perfect for a quick break or change of scenery. I was welcomed by one of the staff who asked me if it was my first time visiting and then proceeded to explain the menu and current available offerings. It was great to see this level of passionate service from a local shop. We discussed some different options and I decided on the lemon elderflower iced espresso. It was light and refreshing - definitely a delicious summer option. Drink was 10/10 and I would definitely recommend it! I also got a honey butter croissant which was crunchy, sweet and chewy - perfectly cooked. They didn't have any matcha available when I was there but there were so many other options that it wasn't a huge concern, more just a reason to return! One note - There's not a ton of parking here so I had to wait for someone to leave to grab a spot.

From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and incredible aromas set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. I ordered a traditional beef pho with added oxtails, and it exceeded all expectations. The broth was rich, deeply flavorful, and clearly simmered with care for hours. Every spoonful delivered a perfect balance of savory spices and comforting warmth. The beef was tender ano plentiful, while the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños allowed me to customize each bite exactly to my taste. I also added tendon which was so delicious and melted in your mouth! The portion size was generous, making it an excellent value, and everything tasted exceptionally fresh. I also tried a Vietnamese iced coffee, which provided the perfect sweet and bold complement to the meal. What truly stood out was the combination of authentic flavors, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're a longtime pho enthusiast or trying Vietnamese cuisine for the first time, this restaurant is well worth a visit. If you're in the Orlando area and looking for a comforting, flavorful meal, I highly recommend stopping by-you won't leave hungry, and you'll likely be planning your next visit before you even finish your bowl.

I ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls which were very yummy with a peanut sauce. The curry beef with vegetables is not too spicy with white rice included and the fried bananas with the coconut milk are so good. The total for the meal I took home was $35.44 and it was a good portion size. The staff was very friendly too.

On the hunt to try out cuisines I don't venture in often, this local gem popped right on up. Upon entry, it was very date-night coded. With various Vietnamese and cultural decor moments and the mood lighting, it was a nice little oasis / getaway from the usual. They had a nice playlist going and there was more than enough seating. Service was phenomenal. Now, at the time of my visit, it wasn't a busy night. It was only a handful of people there. So, our waitress was able to be super attentive and was so kind to our table. Our orders came out fresh, hot and quickly! I ordered one of their pho options, and it was super flavorful. It was also quite a bit of food, so, I did have leftovers to take home and finish the following day. It held up well and it was just as good the next day as it was the night I got it. Pricing is AWESOME! They are a Michelin Bib Gourmant restaurant - which means, it is "a prestigious award recognizing restaurant that serves exceptional, high-quality food at great value." The quality of the food alongside the pricing, just makes it worthwhile. They definitely deserve the hype and rave!! By far, one of my favorite "newer" cuisine experiences I've had in quite some time.

I think any time you go to a restaurant that serves a type of ethnic cuisine, they focuses on the main or big dishes. For example, Vietnamese restaurants will always feature pho somehow and Cuban restaurants will always feature the Cuban sandwich in some capacity. However, street food or dishes that are small and meant for grab and go and sharing and to be affordable is not often featured at big sit down restaurants. The other thing is when street food is featured on a fancy sit down menu, the small plates and street food always cost more than it should in my opinion. Z Asian really surprised me in that I didn't think the prices were to unfair and it still felt elevated. They are a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. We went here for a date night after watching Obsession. By the way, the movie is one of the best horror movies of this year in my opinion and I think a lot of people's opinion. We parked in the back lot as they don't really have a whole lot of street parking. That was confusing entering the restaurant since we entered from the back and it wasn't clear if the restaurant was open or if we walked in through the wrong door. We got seated fast and the waitress was really nice and engaging. We ordered banh khot, which is basically a mini banh xeo. Banh khot is an eggy crepe mixture that is panfried into a circle and a small amount of seafood is placed into the middle of it. It's small and finger food sized and served with pickled veggies and fresh lettuce and fish sauce to drizzle or dip. My rating is a 9.5/10. It was crispy and full of flavor. We also tried the mango tofu salad. It's similar to a ceviche. This was a 9/10. It has a little heat to it but very good and not too wet. We then ordered grilled mussels with is what it sounds like. It's mussels halves grilled with fish sauce and crushed peanuts sprinkled on top. I rate this a 8/10. I never see this in restaurants. On a good day, I can crush like 20 of these and call it girl dinner. We got the grilled corn as well. This is corn kernels grilled in butter and garlic topped with Sriracha. I rate this a 6.5/10. I think it's a good street dished but it underwhelmed me because it's just the corn and there wasn't a vehicle to deliver it to my mouth. The last item we tried was the grilled chicken rice noodles. This was a flavorful dish of veggies and chicken and rice noodles that are cooked in a pan. The rating is a 8.5/10. My overall rating is 9/10. They bill was on the higher end but I felt like it was worth the food we were eating the service and ambiance.
