Awesome spot to grab dinner with pals before hittin some bars for the night! The flatbread and pasta were very good. Pork belly was okay but the mashed potatoes underneath were sooooo good. The mezze plate was decent, 50/50 on if I'd get again it was a good shareable but everything was kinda just decent in it nothing crazy. Drinks were all fun and service was good. Small ish place didnt feel like we had to wait if we ever wanted anything

Finally tried Black Bottle and it was great! We sat at the bar and had a glass of wine and split the pear and Gorgonzola flatbread and the delicate squash and hazelnut ravioli. Both were very tasty! I appreciate how many vegetarian options they have. The atmosphere was casual but the food felt more upscale. It was a nice combination! The bartender was attentive and lovely. The music was at a good volume. Overall, very pleasant experience and I'll be back!

I wish I can remember all the names of the dishes I tried tonight. I think we pretty much tried almost everything on the menu. Please see attached photos and my best attempt at the names in the description. I have been to the Bellevue location before but it was late at night and me and my buddies were just there to grab a couple of drinks. Tonight at their Seattle location, my visit was for a completely different occasion. We were a group of 12 or so for a work event. My boss' EA ordered a set menu for us starting from the appetizers to desserts. The service was not very good but not bad either. This is consistent to their Bellevue location. The interior decor looked a bit not finished but it did not take much away from the experience. They could use a bit more of something (anything) on the wall though... The food overall was pretty good. None of the dishes were amazing but none of them were bad either. They offer everything from vegan to gluten-free as well as non-alcolic cocktails, wine, and beer. We ordered 2 or 3 of everything you see pictured below. I think we definitely over-ordered. We got to try so many dishes and we all left full. As stated, I consider this venuw a "safe choice" for a group since nothing on the menu is bad and it covers all food restrictions and allergies. My favorites from tonight were the shrimp dish and the short ribs. But I have had better elsewhere. I thought the prices were good for what we got (comparatively) and location is great. This whole area was popping for a random Tuesday dinner time. The venue looks pretty small from the outside but it is deceivingly larger than it may seem. Street parking is available if you look hard enough.

Was really expecting a lot from this place and had an overall okay experience. Service was great and staff were friendly. Also, the location was in the heart of downtown and perfect for an urban vibe. The food was close to 4-5 stars but each dish had some major misses. First up is the crispy karaage chicken wings. Great flavor but just a slightly sogginess on the batter. Same with the cauliflower fritters. Sauce was amazing but the coating on the cauliflower was undercooked. Maybe an off night for the person on the fryer. The bacon lemon scallops are pretty good, just very small. For the main I tried the malbec beef shank. Great presentation with the bone in and the portion size was enough for two. I was so disappointed that this was over seasoned to the point that the saltiness really made it hard to finish. Everything was so close and with some tweaks this would have been amazing.

Good food and service, but portion sizes were slightly small. Would definitely come back for drink as the vibes inside were very good!

This large modern restaurant is fantastic! The service is great and the drinks are crafted perfectly. My favorite was the smoked old fashioned that was perfectly balanced. They are good for groups and there is a lot of space. They have great food options, though only came for drinks this time. Will be back again.

Went here with a group and we got a bunch of things to share! ---- Overall, I'd give it a 7/10, nothing too amazing, but good food overall! Cute place, the outside is a 5/10 though.

We ordered way too much, but everything was five stars. The fried sage on top of the ravioli was the star of the show while it was really simple. It was absolutely delicious. And we both picked out the sage leaves. The dates on the the hallumi were just right, and my companion picked those out We probably could abused the whole plate more of dates. I love going out with this particular companion, she and I are both big foodies and really like the experience of gastro pubs. She said the fries on the moore fruit were perfectly cooked and crispy, and you can really tell how good a restaurant is by the quality of something so simple. Black bottle is dark and intimate and we got a corner table. So that we could quietly talk and enjoy one another's company. It's a perfect place for a quiet dinner for two or a big party. The food comes out well timed and you're left alone or with as much attention as you need. Definitely, give it a try if you've never been there.

A group of us went on Friday night. Ryan was our server/bartender. He was so personable and made the best drinks. Food was amazing. Drinks were even better. Definitely coming back.

Ok I have since tried the food and now this place is 6/5!! We usually stop by for happy hour for a nice cocktail at the bar and never tried the food since it seemed a little out of reach for our budget, but we thought wth we'll send for my b day. Turns out the food has some pretty good options for many diff price ranges. We ended up getting a flat bread and pork belly plate. Both were so magnificently delicious, and I think very reasonably priced for their taste and beautiful display. Always love the cozy intimate candlelit vibe in here. Definitely a place to take a date. Also have had this bartender/server twice and he's such a jolly good fellow. A+ for service :)

We had dinner here recently after awhile and we loved our dinner. We love the ambiance and the service was great. We got Squeaky Halloumi cheese sautéed, Chole Bhature eggplant potato chickpeas hot serrano, and Brazilian chicken thighs. We loved the combination of Halloumi cheese, date, onion, mushroom, this is a great addition to their menu. We loved the Brazilian chicken thighs, the fried plantains that came with it were great too. I didn't like the Chole Bhature but my husband loved it.

Been on my list of places to visit for a while. It didn't completely disappoint. But dang, sort of a let down. Came with a colleague. Came on a Wednesday night around 7pm. We were in the back room and had it basically too ourselves. It was low lighting in the back and intimate. Tables weren't too close together so I imagine you could have private conversations. The menu was complex. Seemed like every option was going to be great. We ordered the delicata squash & hazelnut ravioli ($19), smoked tea-brined duck breast with port cranberries ($27), and kefte lamb meatballs mezze plate ($23). The ravioli was superb. I throughly enjoyed that plate. Everything else fell flat for me. It was good. But it just wasn't spectacular or stood out for me. The duck was a little dry but I love duck, so I enjoyed it anyways. The plates were a little bigger than Tapas size. I washed that down with a Slow Magic cocktail which I'd give 4 stars out of 5. It'd be hard to find better cocktails in the area and for the price. It's about 12 dollars per cocktail. It's in Belltown, and parking was pretty tough. So be prepared to be frustrated and ultimately walk a bit. The service was great. Part of the reason why it got a 4 star review. Was able to order in Spanish with my waiter. Check easily came out to $100+. Food and drink might be a 3.5 but the service and ambiance solidifies this place as a 4 star.

What an experience! Amazing food, chill atmosphere, attentive service. All sauces were perfect, thick, no broken sauces. Best "Gambas al Ajillo" I think I have ever had. Escargot on point. We will be back regularly.

They had 1 server and 1 food runner for a 100 person venue at capacity. Therefore, it took 30 minutes to get a can of beer. (To be clear, this is not the staff's fault: it's management's job to hire enough people). The food is wildly overpriced for what it is, even accounting for being in a tourist trap part of town: $15 for a single slider, $30 for a small burger or sandwich, and they aggressively peddle/upsell drinks. They were also again out of a bunch of menu items. Check your tab very carefully when you close out because it's communal seating and orders can and do frequently get mixed up. Also, close out early if you don't want to be the 97th person in line waiting to close out at the end of the show. One of the toilets is leaking water from the handle and doesn't flush; this isn't a new issue because there's a sticky note about the problem that's clearly been there for a while. It's clean water but it does create a small pond in the stall. Overall, I would not recommend this venue as a venue; it's only worth going for the artist/performer Also note that some shows have additional/more strict age restrictions beyond the "minors allowed until 10pm" rule posted by the venue, so bring your ID just in case, and double check the event/artist website if you're bringing anyone under 21 and especially under 18.

The rooftop view is fantastic, and the ambiance was chef's kiss--especially since it surprisingly wasn't super crowded for a Friday night! We had the crispy calamari, their version of an espresso martini with burnt caramel, and a glass of wine. One thing to keep in mind: the prices are definitely pretty steep. But honestly, between the views, atmosphere, and overall experience, it was still a great Friday night out! Definitely one to add to your list if you're looking for rooftop vibes in Seattle!

I stopped by around 4 PM on a weekday, shortly after opening. There was no one at the host stand or at the bar; the place looked deserted, except there was one patron sitting nearby with a drink. Bartenders / servers appeared after a few minutes. The cocktails are $19-$25 and all fruit-focused. Literally every one has fruit in it -- strawberry, apricot, raspberry, passionfruit, peach, cherry, etc -- except the espresso martini. Wines are $16-$25. Both drink menus tend towards the upper end of those price ranges. The paper menu was in bad shape, with tears and water marks. For a high end bar, I want to see better cocktails and a menu that isn't falling apart. Service was very slow. I had to go to bar to get the server's attention because he was chatting with other staff. The prosecco ($16) and Smoke Signal cocktail ($20) were ok. The cocktail was even fruitier than I expected -- bright red and with 3 raspberries on top. This is not a serious bar. Views were ok, but also blocked by nearby buildings. Watch out for the sun setting and blinding you.

Without regard to the price, howeevr, this was the best sporting event/hospitality I had ever experienced. I have been to the Diamond Club, various suites at the T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field several times too but they just did not compare anywhere close to the Moet and Chandon lounge experience. Food was amazing. The venue served King crab, nigiri, oysters, smoked salmon, charcuterie, tacos, complementary wine, cocktail, and beer. It was a buffet and there were three different areas serving different types of food. Our server was great. She was very attentive and nice. The buffet obviously is self-service but drinks can be brought to you by your server or you can go get them yourself at the bar. The lounge is situated on the 2nd floor behind the away team's goal. For 2 out of 3 periods, you get to see the Krackens come towards you at a straight slightly downward angle. My ticket came with a parking pass and it was literally the most convenient and organized parking structure for a sporting event. I later found out though that the parking pass costs 99 dollars. Please note that the security checks your car for explosives as you enter. So don't bring anything weird with you! Or else K9s will sniff you out! Highly recommended if you can afford this or get the chance to go for free like I did.

Just glancing at the menu during a stroll in Cap Hill interested me and I wanted to give this place a try. Paid a visit on a Friday around 6PM and was able to get a table fairly quickly. There are parking garages in the building that Nue is located at, though I am not sure about parking validation. There should be plenty of street parking as the restaurant is located more on the outskirts of Cap Hill. I got to the restaurant via a 10 minute walk from the nearest light rail station. Service was a bit slow when went, I think after we were seated, there unfortunately were two large groups that can in afterwards. We had to flag down the service workers to place our order and get the check. As for the food, it came out after 10 minutes one at a time. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely, lots of memorabilia from various countries and even the check came out in a passport-esque binder. We got a couple of things, which I'll review down below: Carribean Pineapple Cornbread ($8): Tasty cornbread that has nice coconut flakes spread through the batter and around the cornbreads. The cornbread was moist and there is a pineapple undertone in the flavor profile. One downside was that the quantity is quite small, I think for the price, you get like 2 3x3 squares of cornbread, which I think is unfortunately not enough as an appetizer even. Chengdu Wings ($24): These wings do have a tasty flavor profile and have a fragrant aroma when you bite into them. The batter is crispy and they are pleasing to eat! Once again, I unfortunately think the suffers in terms of quantity - you maybe get like 3 wings for $24, which I personally think is a very steep price for fried chicken wings, regardless of the flavor profile. I understand that not everyone can handle very spicy flavor, and personally think that despite the name being Chengdu Wings, it serves as a good entry to Sichuanese cuisine for people given the motivation of the restaurant. Malaysian Dhal ($22): A pleasant dish that has a fragrant coconut, lime, and lemongrass flavor that represents the flavors of Malaysia well. The stew has a pleasant consistency and each bite coats your tongue with the fragrant flavors. The roti is flaky on the outside and soft on the inside - perfect for enjoying this dish. African Bunny Chow ($24): Probably the most filling dish that we have ordered at Nue - I think if you are hungry, maybe go for this one. There is a decent amount of meat in this dish, and the flavors are tasty - it feels like a slightly more toned down Dhal in terms of fragrance, but has a pleasant thicker consistency. In the end, I think Nue is better served as a Tapas-esque restaurant than a place you would visit if you are hungry. Prices vs. quantity does suffer quite a bit at Nue unfortunately, which is why I think it serves as a place to sample cuisines in a night out and then maybe visit elsewhere to complete your dinner. The food is flavorful and pleasing to the general audience, which is a good thing for people who generally aren't very adventurous in their culinary horizons. I'm not sure I would revisit, but I would definitely recommend this to people that lean more on the safer side of dining out.
