Food tasted okay kinda like IHOP food/ prices in a knockoff Cracker Barrel setting. Definitely cute with a terrible ending like all D list horror movies. Food notes: Their signature lemonade wasn't worth trying, & the scrambled eggs were entirely too runny. Now for my real issue: My partner and I got entirely different meals (CFS w/ sunny side eggs & cinnamon roll French toast w/ bacon) barely shared food and both ended up with terrible food poisoning 30 minutes later. Honestly go at your own risk but make sure there's a nice toilet nearby your next stop. read more

The food here is great. Our server Alec was awesome very attentive and quick to get our food to the the table, the restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in but by the time we left Alec was running back and forth to every table. Every worker is nice and everything but I had my cousin working there and he didn't like the fact that the manager was such a bitch plus i heard her how she talked to the female's waders how disrespectful she is I hope she gets fired or get reports to HR and I still have family members working there by the way some cooks don't use gloves is gross if I ever see the manager in person I will would be happy to call her out. read more

We have only been to eat here three times. The first time was good. We went for breakfast. The second time was for lunch. It was also good even though they forgot some of our food. We thought it would improve because they just opened and was working out the kinks. We went tonight and decided not to go back. Our server was nice and took our drink order and gave us our silverware. She came back to get our order. We ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes/gravy and Italian green beans along with 2 cups of broccoli cheese soup. We waited for quite a while which was weird because there were not many people in the restaurant and they were only using one side. Our entree came. We never got our soup so we asked for our soup, also. Another server brought our soup to us. It didn't come with a spoon or the cornbread. We had to ask for the spoons for our soup along with the cornbread. We saw the server go to the back and she started wiping down counters, etc... in the back. She forgot. Then, we saw a young man walk by. We asked him for 2 spoons for our soup. He brought us 1 spoon! We were kinda perplexed at this because we thought he would bring us another spoon after we told him we needed 2 spoons. We saw him talking to the first server and they went to do something else. We waited and waited. Our original server never came back! Finally, the host was walking by and we stopped him and asked for another spoon. He went to the back and was talking to the original server who brought us the soup. He finally came back with another spoon. We were getting ready to share the one spoon we did have!! We are not sure what was going on! Then, he told us they ran out of spoons!!!! That is very odd because how can a restaurant run out of spoons when there was hardly anyone there?!?! Were people stealing them and adding them to a collection or were they being thrown away? Mystery! The food was so-so. The meatloaf was very bland and not tasty at all. The gravy was from a can and it had that metallic taste that you get with those artificial gravies. The green beans were definitely not Italian green beans. The other choice, seasonal veggies, was not an option. The server said they didn't "really have any". The mashed potatoes were bland. The soup was runny and mainly just liquid as though it was a powdered soup. The cornbread was OK, though. From our experience, we will not be going back. We really wish this restaurant would've been good because we love trying new things. There are better places in the area to go. I do hope it changes and they read reviews. First time visiting the place was clean and cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Food wise I ordered the homemade meatloaf (tasted like potted meat and also had carrots in it) weird, mash potatoes (questionable on real or powdered) and green beans (with bacon were good). The salad was served on a small plate with big size leafs and hard to eat but wasn't bad. The cornbread was like cake and really enjoyed it. Wow! Our group of four went to breakfast today Black Bear Diner in Pasadena, and we are still raving about the food and the service. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything tasted great. I want to give a special shout-out to our server, Michelle. I'm a very picky eater about breakfast food. Michelle listened to me and suggested a combination of items that were perfect for me. Maybe we should have waited a couple of months before coming. Our waitress clearly didn't have proper training. We had to wait 10 minutes after sitting before she came and then got our drinks wrong. Had to wait 15 minutes for butter for the dried out corn bread. Our meals were definitely not same quality as the league city location. We will try again in the future but if this is what this location is about it won't last here for sure. read more

Very unfortunate evening. Took a group of friends and explained how great the food was. The evening was such a disaster. We did have a large group and totally understand that large groups food will take longer. The food arrived for our party in good time (30-40 minutes) but found that several sides were missing and one entire meal. The waiter proceeded to retake my order that was missing. We waited another 30 minutes for one meal. We had to ask for the missing sides several times. We asked for some salsa and we got a small container that turned out to be ketchup. Asked again for salsa and never got anything but a shrug. Asked for the last meal in a Togo container since the everyone else was already done eating at this point. Waiter was obviously overwhelmed and was resistant to come back to the table. I got my Togo meal and proceeded to the register We waited almost 10 minutes to pay before we had to go back to the dining room to ask for someone to check us out. So frustrating and no one seemed to care. You would think they would have a manager come by and apologize about the wait of fact a meal was missing. This was probably a 6th time at this location and it has always been great. Unfortunately won't be back after such a bad experience. read more

Been wanting to go to this place for a while. We decided to go today. The food portions were large, with one adult plate, two people can probably eat. I ordered a 10oz steak, medium and it was cooked to perfection. However, it didn't have much flavor like it wasn't seasoned enough, same was true for my hash-browns and eggs. My wife said the same thing about her food. I just ended putting some salt/pepper and it was good. Other than that everything was excellent. The kids loved it, specially the ice cream(blue bell). The best part about our visit was Catalina, our server. She was super attentive and courteous and even when I said something about the seasoning she handled it super well. Cute diner kids love it. A lot to choose from breakfast and dinner. Personal favorite is the stuffed blueberry French toast. The bacon and grits with cheese is great.
