    Tiramisu crepe.
    Elizabeth T.

I was nearby and remember this new place just opened. Wow so many selections! I decided to have a tiramisu crepe. It was so good. The restaurant is nice and good seating. They make the crepes as they are ordered so it does take a little time for it to be ready but it is worth it. I am so happy a crepe place has opened much closer so I don't have to travel far to get some. The crepes were so soft and just the right about of sweet. I need to return to try a savory crepe next.

I got an ad via Facebook about this restaurant having a soft opening leading up to the grand opening on Saturday. I had intended to go then but found myself in the area today (8/15/23) so I figured I'd stop by anyway. It's a little bit hidden, but the restaurant is cute: lots of white paint, a large flatscreen TV, a few colorful pictures of different crepes, plenty of seating, and the heavenly aroma of the food. Me and my husband were greeted pleasantly by the staff when we walked in. Having looked over the menu online, we knew what we wanted to try first; he ordered the Eight Turns BLT and I decided on Eight Turn Lox (hold the spinach). We also ordered two drinks (a Thai iced coffee and a sweetened jasmine iced tea). We had a little bit of a wait after we ordered but that was fine. We were just happy to get out of the heat! There was a large container of (what I hope) was complementary ice water with lemon on one side of the service counter and I helped myself to it. I was parched! The food was delivered to us in these paper cones that kind of reminded me of a Hot Pocket wrapper and a metal holder alongside that. The drinks were small. I don't think we'd been offered a size upon ordering, but they were very tiny. But how were the crepes? After all, that's why we were there. I can honestly say I was blown away! We shared bites of both orders and they were excellent. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the crepes were delicate but still sturdy enough to hold the fillings. We devoured them in record time. However, this does lead me to my first disappointment. We'd gone in hungry for lunch and were anticipating trying at least a couple different crepes each. Unfortunately, 2 crepes + 2 (small) drinks + 10% off because of the soft opening still came up to $27. The food is amazing, but I can't justify that amount for something other than a special treat once in a blue moon. And that's sad because the food was awesome and I wanted to try more of it today. The second disappointment is that they don't have an effective way to take a crepe to go. What you see in the cardboard cup is what you get. Unless you have someone hold it on the drive home, you're eating it now whether you want to or not. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I'm just utterly devastated that I won't be able to eat here more often. If you have money to throw around, I would say it's absolutely worth it to visit. It's not great for a full meal but it makes for a nice date snack or special reward. I really hope their business thrives, regardless!

    10. Philly Cheese Steak Crepe (GF)

The ambience and the service was pretty good. My sister and I were the only customers there. I got the Philly Cheesesteak crepe and found that the crepe was not crispy, but soft like a pancake. The cheese all pooled down to the bottom so I didn't like it that much. My sister got the cookies and cream gelato and she said it was pretty good though.

Surprisingly I thought the savory crepe (Chicken Thai) was the favorite thing I tried at Eight turn when we went- I thought it was a fantastic alternative to a carb heavy dish, good amount of lettuce, and absolutely strong and fantastic flavor! The ice cream crepe was for my son who wanted something simpler but honestly the form factor was a bit difficult for him, would have preferred it to just be in a cup! And the strawberry banana... I'll say I've had crepes for many years, I much prefer the flat/pressed version for eating purposes. These rolled ones are prettier but just not as functional, which for my nerdy mind is important for a hand held food! I thought the restaurant was good overall, not how I would have executed, but it was clean, staff were patient and friendly, and I had a good experience with the family!

We stopped by to try out the crepes and they were pretty good. I tried the strawberry Nutella crepe and added mango and chocolate shavings. The customer service was pretty good.

GOD TIER This place is sooo delicious!! I got the Philly Cheesesteak one and let me tell you, it was sooooo juicy and packed with flavor and the meat was tender !! My brother got the Chocolate nut party and he really enjoyed it! We also got the Matcha Latte and the Peach Tea. i will say its a little bitter but i dont mind but for those who love the subtle taste of matcha i wouldnt recommend. Whenever you walk in the place seems comfortable and quiet. They even provide games like jenga, monopoly, playing cards and dominos to entertain you while you wait. as for the staff the cashier was super nice she was so friendly she was cute and shy but she delivered excellent service . You can order at the screen if you're more of an introvert or u can order with the cashier which is nice. the Order screen was super easy to navigate as well, i didnt need any help finding my way around. I give this place 100 Stars if i could! Thank you Eight Turn Crepe. We Enjoyed everything

The 'secret' to their signature crepes.

I was thrilled that there was a crepe café near by. You can't get crepes very often unless you go to a fancy café, a food truck or at a mall. Not anymore though! Eight Turn Crepe make their crepes fresh, in house. They have a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. You can choose one of their original crepe creations or create your own. Eight Turn Crepe even have savory crepes! Most savory crepes are a hit or miss, but Eight Turn took their savory crepes to the 21st century. They're delicious and fit modern people's tastes. Their crepes are made with rice flour. That makes them gluten free and delicious! If you're not in the mood for a crepe, they have coffee and gelato too. The décor and atmosphere is trendy and lively. They have a TV that shows videos of Asian goods being made, really cool to watch. The music they play is current J-Pop or K-Pop music, also very cool. The staff are kind and hospitable, but they need to be faster when prepping customers' orders. Their selection of gelato is limited. My friend said that the staff need to pay more attention to how they brew their coffee too, because she said she could barely taste the nutella in her nutella espresso. I'd come back to Eight Turn Crepe any day!

Very good crepes, ladies were very friendly and it's a great little place. I'd highly recommend this place. So many crepes to choose from.

Food was a 10/10, service was amazing. Only two people were working and were great with the timing definitely coming back soon.

I actually found out about this place while browsing on uber eats. I absolutely love crepes and been wanting to come by and check the place out. Very cozy and quiet ambiance. Yall should definitely give this place a chance considering places like these are common in katy and it's nearby. They sell coffee, gelato, both savory and sweet crepes, affogato, smoothies, and specialty drinks. Service was exquisite and would consider coming back. 5/5 stars!

    11. NY Blueberry Cheesecake Crepe
    Andrea V.

I was excited to find out that they opened a location near my house, these crepes are my favorite, especially their NY blueberry cheesecake crepe. They're pretty big so I usually share one with my bf. I called to place a large order and the lady was very nice and made sure get all the details right with me. This location is far smaller than the one I go to in Katy, but the crepes are still awesome quality!

Affogato with Vanilla Gelato. Harajuki fruit coctail, Strawberry Nutella Crepe and Chai Latte.
    Abby R.

First time here and I ordered the Harayuki Fruit Coctail and a Chai Latte. It was really delicious! The stablishment was clean and they gave great service. 10/10 I would recommend.

    Stracciatella gelato

We enjoyed our first visit to this Japanese style crepe cafe. We all ordered something different: Harajuki Fruit Cocktail (sweet) Strawberry Nutella (sweet) Ham, eggs and cheese (savory) There is something for everyone from their many Savory and Sweet crepe offerings. You can add additional ingredients or even add gelato to your crepe. They also offer many options to build your own crepe. They have great specialty beverage selection: Affogato, Vietnamese coffee, expressos, cappuccino, caramel Frappuccinos, matcha, Nutella and chai lattes. Their Berry Bliss smoothie is made with all organic ingredients. It's a very impressive operation watching new employees on opening day work in tandem and seamlessly to provide good and friendly service to their customers. There are imitation food displays which is very typical in Restaurants in Japan. Judging from all the smiles on the patrons' faces, it's a welcome addition to Pasadena's Cafe Scene. We will definitely be back.

There are many regulars that we see and speak to every week. That's how you know people like a place and feel welcome... they keep coming back. Crystal (the owner/manager) is kind and wonderful. She is on top of things and I've seen her do every job from computer work to straightening up to helping cook in the back. She seems to be the type of person who is willing to do whatever needs to be done. She also seems to have a great relationship with her staff and that's also very important. Manuel is very friendly and helpful. He's knowledgeable about their menu and always remembers what our friend likes to drink when she forgets what it's called. I love the openness and space. There's a couch and chairs in the back if you feel like lounging, plenty of tables in the front for eating, working, or just sitting at. There are games that people can play although sometimes children get ahold of them and pieces go missing. There is also a little kids play area which is golden when you have a toddler. I love that I can sit and have my food/coffee and also keep an eye on my little guy while he plays. It's a wonderful place to meet with people or to just take your kids when you need to sit down with a cup of coffee while they play. They have a good variety of drinks on top of the seasonal offerings. The food is good, and I kind of love that a lot of it is made in a waffle iron. It makes me want more waffle shaped food. The grilled cheese is made with sourdough bread and cooked in a waffle iron. It has these little crispy bits that are heavenly. One of my favorites is the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a side of gravy. It's also prepared in a waffle maker and has those little crispy bits on the edges. So so good! So yourself a favor and give it a try.

When we first came, the lines were BACKED UP... we were a little hesitant because we thought the lines might take forever to move, but we were very impressed with how well they were running things and moving the lines. They don't have a posted menu until you get up to the front, so you have to either look it up online or scan the QR Code. They have a lot of coffee options, but also many non-coffee options for those who want something else. There have been multiple people outside taking orders every time we've gone, and the lines move quickly. This is a stay in your car and order type place, but you may also be able to order at the window. I'm not sure because I haven't really paid much attention to see whether or not they have a walk-up window. It's cheaper than Starbucks, with more flavors/drinks to choose from. Comparable to Dutch Bros in style, yet different when it comes to taste. I'm happy that I don't have to drive 15+ minutes to get to 7Brew anymore, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a drink. As for the one star review with the lady who didn't get a free coffee, but saw the free coffee signs... it was only certain days/hours during their grand opening week. I don't think leaving a one star review was fair. P.S. they also have muffin tops. Try the Lemon Poppyseed.
