If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I drive here all the way from the city if Bellaire so that should tell you how good it is! They have it all from raspas with fresh fruit, homemade aguas frescas so fresh literally today the made my agua de melon as I waited so good!, to arroz con leche on cold days. What's even better is that everything is so cheap! Now I will say on weekends it's PACKED but they are pretty fast and it's worth the wait. It's been my favorite raspa place for a little over 15 years. My kids don't agree, because they are missing a raspa with ice cream called "snow". That reason alone is why I have a hard time coming here as much as I'd like to. Parenting at its finest... the kiddos run my household. When I am on a diet I like to have 2 chicken tostadas daily. Tried this place for the first time and I'm in love! Tried the limonada and agua de mango. So freaking goooood!! You can tell the waters are fresh and they use real fruit. The limonada was a bit sweet for my taste but good nonetheless. Definitely will be making the drive from The Woodlands to this place again! This place, USED to be the spot. They were SO good. And they really gave you good portions for your money. Sadly they have gone downhill. You might actually get what you ordered the way , you ordered IF THE OWNER is there. But if not , you get what you get. The tostadas used to have beans-VERY SHADY with ingredients now- and portion sizes. This place is amazing. The refreshments are more than reasonably priced. The Raspas are delicious!!!! Hands down the best in the area. The staff is very friendly unlike some others. Other places we have been to, it's as if we are asking for a arm or a leg. Here there are all smiles and you get the sense that you are the customer. Oh did I mention that the Raspas are the bomb. We don't drive far for many things, but we really wanted a raspa. Knowing the area,we decided to take a little drive down to Pasadena. Went around 6 pm. There was a line but it moved quick. We got nachos (standard chips and cheese jalapeños) cherry raspas agua de sandia limonada and a cocktail de mango (mango lime chamoy and chile). The fruit was fresh the aguas were delish and we will surely go back. Not the place to sit and eat as there's not enough space but order take it back to your car or drive and eat. Saw many open up the beds in their pick ups and eat outside. It was good. Spent 16 in cash. No cards accepted. read more
