50 cents for a 5min freezing cold shower after paying $45 for one night.. ugh

Ugh... more like a trailer park than a campground. The front desk staff was pleasant, professional and courteous, but the campground itself is nothing to be desired. I went tent camping with my fiancee and friend, only to discover that their tent sites are exceptionally tiny and immediately adjacent to other tent campers, so, you get ZERO privacy, or quiet. Unfortunately our site was next to a loud, obnoxious and rude drunk. The pool.. OMG.. WTF is that thing?? Looks more like a fricken sludge pond kiddie pool for midgets.... Nice field for volleyball though, although we didn't play.. was just nice to walk on grass. It cost us $45 for one night for the three of us, and you would think at this price that you wouldn't have to pay 50 cents for a 5 minute freezing cold shower with little to no water pressure..

This campground is very clean. Laundry, showers and bathrooms make it more like home than camping…read more The sites are well spaced apart with plenty of room. They will charge you for everything here including a key card to open a gate in order to get in and out of the grounds. It's $10 refunded when you turn it back in. The camp office staff was very kind. The reason for 2 stars is the "park quiet time enforcer". The sign says 10pm quiet time. My buddy and I were being too loud at exactly 9:53pm. The enforcer came by and immediately scolded us to quiet down and said it's quiet time, I showed him that it wasn't 10pm yet. He responded that he didn't know what time it was because he didn't have his phone on him. He also said if we didn't quiet down he would call the cops and have us removed. Like really?!? I will never recommend this place because of that butthead.

They thrive on harassing you from the moment you arrive. They come over and look for something to complain about it never stopped. They sold us wet wood so we had to go out late and find some so we could make a fire to eat. We got yelled at because the fire was too high. It wasn't done intentionally, it just started up that way, but again they watch every move you make and you CANNOT talk after 10 pm not one word. They made anyone that did leave. My son who is young, even asked me what I wanted hamburg or hotdog by showing it to me because he was afraid to talk and the guy walked over and told us to leave. We were in disbelief like how can they get away with treating people like this. I am all about respect and I'm a very quiet person and never said one word yet had to pack up at 11 pm never even got to eat. They are very disturbed and they even look scary. One couple came over saying the owners helper was banging on their camper door telling them to stop talking, saying it was 10:05 pm. They said they continued to talk because it says "quiet time" after 10 it doesn't say, you can't speak. They said 10 minutes later they were looking in their windows and started knocking on all of them.. pretty scary, and truly, unacceptable. People go camping to enjoy themselves but that wasn't possible at this place. We wondered why, when we arrived nobody was there being quite close to the beach. The odd part is they put a couple in the site next to us literally 2 feet away from our fire pit and picnic table. We could every word they said while inside their tent. It was very uncomfortable. And THEY were the ones talking, not us. They were drinking very heavily throughout the day, and had the nerve to ask us for money, and because we said no, THEY told the guy we were talking after 10 when it was them. The fact that they believed them without ever hearing us talk. I feel bad for anyone that stays with them because they'll never be able to enjoy themselves it was heartbreaking, and I would hate for anyone else to have to experience it.
