I signed up for a class and it was a horrible experience. The only people in the Intro class that had any clue about what was going on were folks who had previously worked with pottery and they were still trying to figure out what exactly was going on. After the first class, I left and bought a few books on pottery. Read them overnight and was able to figure out what I was supposed to be "doing". I was concerned that this was how the class was going to be for the next two months so I called the owner. Instead of receiving my concern about it not being an Intro class, the owner was immediately on the defensive and outright called me "dumb". No business owner should ever be calling their clients dumb and especially not to their face. If you already know pottery, have a desire to enable a business owner who runs hot/cold, and have the money to make pieces by all means go. It is a beautiful space in a great community. I chose to spend my money on getting a wheel and supplies to create my own pieces at home, but then again I'm the dumb one.... Post Script: She doesn't belong to the BBB and there's probably a reason why (it'd would've been free for the first year). The city has received a couple complaints about the business but they don't have any way of helping.

It's been over 2 months and after several phone calls I still haven't received my pottery or a refund and will now have to wait an additional month for them to reopen.
