The food trucks offering pizza, baked goods, and fudge counter added a delicious touch to the day. It was such a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoor booths & tents, including several venders inside. Just a heads-up- the vendors are only there until 3 PM! The center has two separate ballrooms with a beautiful entrance, providing plenty of inside space to walk around comfortably. It's a great place to explore all the vendors at your own pace and enjoy the day shopping for wonderful, handcrafted gifts. The spacious setup makes it easy to browse and relax, whether you're inside or outside. I can't wait to come back for another event.

We were joined by 2 other groups of ladies celebrating bachelorettes for an afternoon session of wine and painting the NH seacoast. Jim was a great teacher who put an emphasis on there being no right or wrong way to paint your scene, so long as you're enjoying it - it was nice to feel like we could make our art without a lot of pressure to get it perfect. For people who did want to aim for something higher, he came around and gave specific advice and/or touched up paintings himself (only when asked). It was really fun to see how different people's paintings turned out. The only downside: no food provided (but we knew this upfront) and the room was a little cramped so it was hard to talk to some of my friends, even during the break. Still, I am now a fan of this kind of painting and would definitely return to this kind of class. Just make sure you make your reservation in advance - these things fill up quickly!

The managers help plan events but hosts may DIY the meetinghouse decor as early as the night before! I attended a summer wedding here. Staff provided coordinating and bartenders but every other vendor was hired by the bride and groom. They gave us space to prep and store appetizers, which was clutch. Josiah's Meetinghouse is along a major route, which makes it easy to find but adds traffic sounds to ceremonies outside. Cranking the music helped our party drown it out. As long as they're not busy, they're pretty generous with time.

Second; Parking Lot Lighting. It's an obstacle course out there in the dark. Third; terrible acoustics. A lot of this is probably on the band but; the sound level and quality were agonizing, at times. Fourth; Josiah's Management has made a decision that it's a good idea to shoehorn advertising into every opportunity on the Dance Floor. Neon Lights continuously flash their logo across the wedding guests. The epitome of tackiness and tastelessness. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not sure if it shows up in photos but; it sure was an eyesore in person. Overall, an enjoyable night, as Weddings usually are but; I sure wouldn't recommend Josiah's Meetinghouse. Especially for an evening affair with mixed age attendees.

I chose to nurse in the bathroom as it was the only quiet space offered to me when I asked about a mother's room. As I had ample time in the family bathroom nursing twins, I couldn't help noticing how dirty the bathroom was. It was 10:30am and toilet and floor were very dirty. In the party eating room there were two highchairs available, although one had broken straps and the child couldn't be strapped in. I have these same highchairs in my home. They are $25 from Ikea - I would hope a replacement highchair is in the works. As I was a guest for a birthday party, I did not pay attention to prices. My 3-year-old had a blast however; they are lacking accommodations for families with younger children and that made our time difficult. We don't plan to return.
