International adoption can be overwhelming. I felt good when I found New Hope for Children. What…read morehas happened in the years since has been frustrating and heart breaking to downright criminal. We tried to adopt my niece and nephew. We were told a process and followed it. After years we learned there was no process. We were handed off to another agency in that country and the process kept changing. They were supposedly trying to get a death certificate for the children's mother. After a year we went to that country's embassy and the ambassador worked on our case. The agency said there was no such request and then came back and said that adoption is not possible. Communication was scarce except when money was needed. They took our money and we got absolutely nothing in return. Do not do this to yourselves. Family is precious and they have damaged ours.

I've had two experiences with Wildlife Encounters, both at New Hampshire Motor Speedway during race…read moreweekend. They bring animals to Fan Zone at the NASCAR track. Last time, someone stuck a NASCAR sticker on a tortoise's back. I didn't see who did this - a worker or a fan. A very upset porcupine was penned in a very small area. Today, I saw a komodo dragon and a hedgehog who are part of their "interactive collection". The worker said it was okay to pet either but that the hedgehog was "in a bad mood today". The poor little guy was jumping and was making a sound that resembled a hiss. Behind them, an African serval cat was pacing in a very small cage - much like the poor porcupine last time. Please do not support this business.

Genuinely helpful volunteers and plenty of fresh bread /rolls/english muffins, maybe a variety of…read moremuffins too, frozen meats, vegetables, cereal, desserts, canned goods, sometimes cold salads/sandwiches/nut-fruit bites thingies, and even in-consistent items like eggs and milk. Then there are those real special catches of an herb plant or Depends, OR lovingly crocheted baby blankets, scarves, mittens..... and that's all in the front part They also have a thrift store, where u will find it hard to leave empty handed and a without a smile! The volunteers are as if it were what they were ment to be doing; they are soo busy and yet will 'stop' to answer you friendly as well as helpful. I would recommend The Share Fund to anyone I may meet or already know. Great, comfortable place to fulfill needs.
