    A view from our sight

So I would give this place 4 Stars if they had a place for the tent sights to wash dishes. (Maybe a 5 but it's rare for me to give 5 stars) My wife and I and some friends stayed for a long weekend, bathrooms were clean for the majority of the time obviously in the late night early mornings they were a little dirty but nothing too bad. Sights are a great size plenty of room to have a dog on a lead if wanted. Some of the campsites for camping have a grill great some don't idk if you have to request them or not 1 of the 3 sights we had had a great. Showers are metered and are set to a warm temperature. Very exited for our next trip up.

Bring quarters for the showers if you are using bath houses.

Very nice and clean campground. Staff very friendly. Spots are large and open. Central location to visit great New England locations. *bring quarters for showers at bathhouse and laundry area.

I used to tent camp here with my parents more than 20 years ago. Having returned now with my own family we will now be annual campers! The grounds, facilities, and camping cabins are wonderful! The bathrooms are cleaned no less than every 3 hours round the clock! The staff is friendly and hard working. We had an amazing vacation and will be back!

Only thing missing was a swimming pool, but you have Hampton Beach right down the street.

At first I really didn't understand the reviews on this place that are less than three stars. Then…read moreI looked again at how many places those people have reviewed and it seems to me someone has a vendetta against the current owners. We really enjoyed camping at this campground. They offered a lot of amenities and activities as well as large, semi-private sites. Our site was level and had a picnic table, a fire pit, electric and water. We also felt like we had no neighbors as there was plenty of green space between our campsite and the next. We had no issues with mud at all. We had NO issues at all. This campsite offers laundry, men's and women's bath houses, a general store, gem hunting for the kids, bouncy houses, a swimming pool with a waterslide, kayaks and much much more. The staff was super friendly and helpful! We had a great time here. It was quiet for the most part and we stayed over Labor Day weekend. Definitely will be back went in the area!

This was my family's spot when I was a kid. The last time I was there I was 15 and now I'm 31…read more There has been a lot of improvements since then. This is a great spot if you have kids. They added this awesome slide to the pool. The pool is nice and clean but the bottom is peeling. They also have some inflatable jumpy houses and a playground with this huge jumpy thing. I did go in the public bathroom and looked at the showers. It all looked clean. We stayed in a cabin. C1 to be exact. I could've picked between C1 and C2. After seeing both we wish we picked C2. It was a lot newer but a different layout. You can tell there was a newer air conditioner also. They are adding a bunch more that are still under construction. C1 wasn't the worst but I wouldn't stay in it again. The negatives of the cabin. When we arrived the cabin was so hot and the air conditioner was weak and dirty. They really need to replace it. It took an entire day for the cabin to cool down. There's really no windows to open up and you can't leave the sliding door open because there's no screen and bugs get in. There was a TV but didn't really work. Also the cabin was pretty dirty. It needs a major cleaning. There was still coffee grounds left in the coffee pot so we didn't even touch it. My kids feet would get so black from walking around barefoot. I cleaned the floor and the cloth was black. Positives of the cabin. You can fit 8 comfortably. There was a queen bed in its own room. A queen in the loft. The loft was small. You can't stand up or anything. A bunk bed and a pull out couch. You have to bring your own linen. It has a full kitchen and bathroom. There was a picnic table and also a fire pit. It comes with a gas grill that worked great. Plus what a view by the water! To sum it up I gave it a 3 because it's a nice place but the cabin needs some work. I won't book cabin C1 again. If you have kids this is a great place. They have events pretty much every weekend. It's quiet with lots to do and the staff were very nice. Also close to Salisbury and Hampton Beach which are great places to visit. I will definitely be returning next summer!

Pros: The campground itself is clean, bathrooms are clean…read morehas a pool , small camp store . Close to beach Cons: The woman running it runs it like an early 1900's nun that hates children. If she could hit them trust me she would. Yells at kids for riding their bikes too fast, across a side walk , jumping in the pool when nobody is in the pool they'll kick them out. she's got cameras everywhere she watches so she can yell at them. you have to be with your child at all times even at the playground with middle schoolers. tent sites are in a swamp w standing swamp water behind the site. sites are Tiny. The big ones are 15x30 you can't even set up a ten person tent , and 5 chairs around a firepit without pulling your car in at an angle. you cant even idle through the campground bc that is too fast. I'm not exaggerating . read the other reviews . Unc is miserable If you are retired, hate children , and have a camper this place is for you. (hey this is said middle schooler editing the review, I remember very little about this trip but what I do remember is as follows: My mom was fully correct about all of this, but on top of this when my friend's family arrived with their dog, because they likely didn't go to the 1,203 word long rules list (proof attached) Teresa the Witch said to, and I quote, "dispose of it." That just makes it sound like she wanted the thing dead, which honestly, she likely did. I also distinctively remember "carving" the words "screw you old lady" onto the roof of the small ass playground, so even back then I hated her. I also remember her getting angry over small things so it was very funny to rage bait gramgram by riding bikes too fast. The rules are insane, too. Some of the highlights include "Children must be kept quiet during these hours" which makes it sound like there's a hostage situation going on, (which there likely is ngl)," Campers and their guests and/or visitors who are uncooperative or violate rules may be asked to leave with no warning or refund" which I'm surprised that only 1 review mentions this happening, and even supposedly for bringing up an issue, WHICH THEY ENCOURAGE YOU DO("If there is a disturbance, excessive noice, any complaint or emergency, please notify guard at once."), and "No balls or throwing devices are allowed", which completely makes the "Large Playing Field" just for running, I guess? yeah I don't have that much else to say, but everything Dana J. says is a complete lie apart from not putting up with rule breakers and being "well monitored".)

We had a huge front yard all grass and the bathrooms were behind us which was convenient. Extremely well monitored. They don't put up with rule breakers and we appreciate that. Will definitely stay here when we are in New England.
