The staff took my copay and advised me to sit in the waiting room. I sat in that waiting room with no updates for almost an hour. In the meantime, the staff was chatting and giggling amongst themselves and arguing over who should be allowed to go home early. I finally went and asked how long it was going to take for me to be seen. They told me I was next. I asked "how long does that mean, I have been waiting almost an hour" they just said "You are next" again. I told them to refund my copay and I was leaving and how unprofessional they were. They then said, "Sorry, we had 3 emergencies today", to which I responded "Why didn't you call me to reschedule, or at least tell me when I got here?". They just stared and said "Sorry". The place was very clean, organized and professional. After having recently moved to near by area i jumped on to the yelp to find a good optometrist for my regular eye test. I found this place with good reviews and made an appointment online (highly recommend doing that so it saves you some time). As soon as i walked in i was greeted by the wonderful front-desk lady (wish i remember her name). From start to finish she was awesome going above and beyond to take care of my needs. Dr. Hendrik Krosschell was very thorough, clear in his explanation and was kind enough to answer the concerns i had. He also had me come in multiple times just to ensure that i had the best possible lenses. A special kudos to the front desk lady. I had a full insurance coverage for my vision. The lady explained me how much i would be paying for my co-pay but there was a bit of confusion on what it covered for my lenses. I called up the insurance and got the details and this front desk lady (again i wish i remembered her name) was so kind enough to charge me just the remaining amount and have my insurance cover the remaining. All-in-all i had a pleasant and hassle-free experience. Strongly recommended!!

In 2024 I went to the office for my appointment and was told it had been cancelled and they has called me to tell me that. They had never called and I showed them my phone with all my calls and there was nothing from them. Arrogantly, they told me I was wrong and they were right. Last year, I was having visual migraines and was told by my neurologist that I needed to see Dr. Lang, so I called to make an appointment. I was told I could not see him and would have to make an appointment with one of their optometrists, not what I needed to see. When I finally was able to see Dr. Lang on my scheduled appointment, I told him this story and he said it was totally unacceptable. Unfortunately, he has no understanding off what is going on in his front office. Finally, I have an appointment with Dr Lang in May of this year that I need to reschedule as I will not be in the state that month. I called to reschedule the appointment and they have told me that I cannot reschedule this appointment as he has no availability in any of his four offices for the remainder of the year. I asked if I could make an appointment early next year and was told that was not possible, yet my wife had an appointment with him this past week and they scheduled and appointment for her a year from now. . So I guess if you cannot make your scheduled appointment with this practice you can never get another appointment. This is not a way to run a doctors office and these people are as incompetent as any staff I have ever dealt with. Hopefully, Dr Lang can read this review and see what his front office staff is doing to his practice.

I went to all of my father's eye appointments and Dr Lang was always so kind and patient. He explained all of my father's problems and treatments so that we could understand. One thing that really stood out to me was that Dr Lang goes above and beyond for his patients. He saw my father on a weekend for a follow up when the office was closed because he felt it was urgent. I will never forget Dr Lang for his humanity, his kind and quiet demeanor. He is an angel sent from above. Thank you Dr Lang and I will definitely pay forward to my patients as a pediatric nurse.

I'd describe the surgery itself like a slightly more complex eye exam. Found it LENS CRAFTERS from a google search that I did not know existed and not only was there parking, I was able to walk in and be seen that day even though the lobby was full of patrons.
