The staff are all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions and concerns throughout the entire process. I knew exactly what to expect going in and coming out of surgery thanks to them, and the surgery itself only took about 10 minutes. I've had fillings that were way worse! 0 pain or discomfort. I'd describe the surgery itself like a slightly more complex eye exam. I had terrible eyesight before the surgery and I have a neuromuscular disorder that can cause double vision. We decided to correct both eyes for distance rather than one for distance and one for reading due to my risk factors with double vision. I will continue to need reading glasses but in the week since the surgery, I have 20/20 vision for distance and I am beyond pleased with the result. I see better now than I have since 4th grade. The procedure itself was fast and relatively easy - I didn't love the procedure but Dr. Varr counted down each step of the way and it was fast. I do have greater light sensitivity but that should eventually fade. Overall, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Great staff, good experience (I can't say great since I don't think anyone, including me, truly enjoys having their eyeball operated on), and exceptional eyesight. Do yourself a favor and get LASIK at the LASIK Vision Institute.

I had a disappointing and truly weird experience with this LASIK provider. The staff used high-pressure sales tactics, pushed a credit card I wasn't comfortable with, were wildly disorganized, and were unclear about scheduling and payment plans. The day of my surgery, they claimed I needed another eye exam--despite already having one during my initial consultation. They got me confused with another patient and the woman who worked there seemed like she was confused about everything happening around her. Wasn't feeling super confident at this point but I was already there and prepped. A minute before my surgery they suddenly decided I was no longer a LASIK candidate because of some major issue with my eye they doesn't seem to exist according my actual eye doctor and they didn't appear to see during my eye exam during the consultation. Weird? They recommended a different more expensive procedure instead. That was the final straw. I walked out and requested a refund for the deposit I already provided them. The overall experience was disorganized and sales-driven rather than patient-focused. I'm glad all of that happened actually because I didn't bother to look them up on BBB until after all this happened. The decision to have a face lift was difficult because I had heard that it was extremely painful and being in the medical field, the idea of this type of procedure terrified me.
