It's been four years since my last warby purchase (that's how long these last). I received them in the mail and have been IN LOVE with them, like I wear them every day now (new habit bc I love them). Unfortunately, I somehow scratched them in a few weeks and gave warby a call. They sent me a new pair for ~free~ and I just have to send the others back. Winning! Warby offers amazing customer satisfaction policies. I get the second pair and they are the same exact glasses, except for some slight variation in tortoise, and they're just a tad crooked. I spoke with the customer service rep, and they said I can send them back *or* have them adjusted by an optometrist. Easy enough, but my opt. has not been able to get me in. I'm from the Hudson Valley and on a day trip to the Hamptons, I brought my glasses in case I went by the store in the city. I randomly drove by this location so I gave it a go. Meg greeted me instantly and heard my situation. She was able to take the new lenses from the newest pair and put them in the frame I loved the most, and process the return. LITERALLY SO EASY AND IM SO HAPPY I LOVE MY GLASSES. She was so helpful and professional. Glasses take time to get just right, they can be as hard as finding the perfect pair of jeans. But a great company coupled with a great employee Meg, and I'm a more than satisfied customer. Thank you Meg!!

I took my…read more75-year-old father (who is a stroke patient with a speech/cognitive impairment) to his eye doctor appointment and was asked to speak to the office manager to discuss a previous large balance due. He was getting his first exam of the visit, and I usually sit in there with him to assist with his speech impairment. I was asked to leave the room to speak about the balance. Leaving him in there by himself. He was initially administered on shot of Avastin (eye injection) on his first visit a few months back (Sept). Of which his insurance mostly covered, and he had to pay a small balance of under $50. On his second visit in October 2024 he needed another injection. Only this time they administered Vabysmo instead of Avastin. During the time of this second visit, we were not given appropriate information (and I was sitting in the room during the visit the entire time) of the cost difference of this different drug injection and how much his insurance would require him to pay out of pocket. We were also not given the information of why the drug was being switched from Avastin to Vabysmo at the time he was given the injection (on this last visit I asked why the doctor made that decision and was told that Avastin was out of stock and there was a shortage). We also come to find out that the Vabysmo out of pocket cost was close to $450 for the one injection. Hence why he had a large balance due when we showed up to his third visit on 1/21/24. My father is an elderly man on a fixed income and does not have ample disposable monthly income to pay these large costs. I cannot understand why this information was NOT provided to us BEFORE the injection was given so that we could make the decision as to whether or not he could afford it. Instead of going ahead and giving it to him without ANY information prior. I spoke to a few people while at this recent office visit - and no one seemed to adequately provide me with information as to why this could have happened or supply a reasonable solution other to say that my father owes this balance and there was a payment plan he could set up to pay it back. Upon NEGLIGENCE on their part nevertheless! The office manager there seemed very understanding - and tried to offer a hardship application to us to help cover the cost of that injection. It was a 3-4 page application and tax return info would be needed to apply. But again, no guarantee that he would be approved. They also offer something called GoodDay Insurance as well but that's all upon acceptance and we were supposedly 'on a list' waiting for that to open up. While now waiting in the room for the doctor, an assistant is in the room and asks him to sign a screen to accept the administration of the drug. I stop her and ask her the name of the drug that he is signing for - she says Vabysmo. Are you kidding me?? After all this and letting them know that he can't afford that drug and needs to have Avastin instead - they were still having him sign off on Vabysmo again??? I told him not to sign and explained to her AGAIN what the issue is, and we would like to speak to the doctor. She leaves the room and comes back in and asks me to take the phone. I then speak to the person on the phone that handles the GoodDay insurance program who informs me that the hardship application that we were given by the office manager - would not be applicable to drugs, only other services/exams in the office if needed. So, the information the office manager had given us was incorrect. She also informs me that they could still give the Vabysmo injection that day and hopefully -but with NO guarantee - that he would be approved by GoodDay once it opened up. Or that possibly the doctor could agree to give him a sample or something this time around. She said she would speak to the doctor. But I told her that in order for me to agree to this, I wanted something in writing saying that my father would NOT be liable for another out of pocket expense this time around. I handed back the phone to one of the assistants and we waited again in the room. I couldn't believe the confusion among all that was happening there. And all the misinformation and/or LACK of information that we were given. At this point my father was getting extremely agitated and anxious seeing all that was going on and I began to get worried for his health. He was saying he just wanted to leave. So that's what we did. We walked out of the appointment and didn't even wait until the doctor returned. Upon leaving I told them there was too much confusion going on in that office and he wants to leave. They stared at me and said nothing. So, we left. My father should NOT be responsible for the large out of pocket balance due of that last Vabysmo injection. There was definite negligence on the part of the doctor and staff. He will not be returning as a patient.

I had a torn retina and Dr Poon performed lazer surgery in house. I just had eye surgery at Syosett Hospital performed by Dr Jessics Lee. Dr Lee performed the eye surgery under one hour. She did an excellent job in the repair of my eye and today I just had my eye checked and everything went exceptionally well. Lowering your diabetes and blood pressure will help immensely with avoiding any eye related problems in the future so take good care. Maximilian France
