It's a weird place. One of the few places where you have a good chance to find a notary on a Saturday, but leaves you wishing there were better alternatives. This is the only place I've been told to take an oath as part of the notarization process--not as a notary, but as needing a form notarized. He said not to put the envelope in the mail box outside and put it in his mailer carton. I hope it went, but it was such an off experience. Several years ago I'd had to take a package to be shipped back to my company via a provided fed ex label and I got major creepy vibes, so I was not thrilled to have to use his notary services. I've been sure it's just me because he's clearly an immigrant, but after reading a whole bunch of reviews, I don't think it's just that. I think dude is strange. read more

Shippers BEWARE! I recently tried to drop off a FedEx package to this poor excuse for a shipping outlet. It was 5:30pm. The owner of the store said he could not accept the return package since the FedEx pickup came at 4:00 and his insurance wouldn't cover my package until FedEx came again. Most likely Monday. If he's correct then every package that is dropped off each day after UPS, FedEx or others had completed their daily pickup...is uninsured and if he has a break in or robbery your packages are not insured. I had held off on writing this review for a month but I can't ignore what happened anymore. The elderly gentleman who is always at this store did not accept my FedEx label. I went home, printed a new label with the additional line of numbers he wanted. Then after studying both labels I found ALL THE INFORMATION he requested was on the old label and the new label. When I returned he rejected the package again. I promptly went to the FedEx store 6 miles away. I have had trouble with this man multiple times in the past but this event tops all previous rejections. Clearly this man does not want FedEx business!!! read more

I have a no asshole policy regarding anyone who doesn't know how to behave and this place takes the trophy home every time. In fact a 0 Star would be more appropriate if Yelp permitted. Don't waste your time. There are so many alternatives fortunately close by to choose from. There is another UPS store right across from Publix where you can get excellent service. I went to ship a package and print a label for fedex. So the man told me to email the label to him. I did that and was waiting for him to come back. I stood there for 5 minutes and finally said something to him. He said he forgot I was there. He was watching some video on the computer. So now he got the box but refuse to pack it. He said he will do it tomorrow. I said no, I need to take a photo of it packed. He said he was too busy watching something on his computer. So I packed it and ask for tape, he said just take a photo of it and I will do it tomorrow. I really feel he wanted to steal what was in it. After I refuse to leave to package open, he took his box and label back and told me to go somewhere else. He also had my credit card. I had to get it back. Someone needs to do something about this location. he is very racist by refusing to serve people. read more

I was dropping off a prepaid package for FedEx ground. I asked for a receipt and the owner said he does not provide one. Then he stated for me to place the package on the floor on the customer side of the counter. Finally he stated my package was not insured for theft by his store. So if I left it until pickup and it was stolen, he was not responsible. How does FedEx allow a franchise owner posting their name on the front of the store behave like this? When I called FedEx, they stated he should provider a receipt, but could not tell me if my package should or should not be insured against theft. I went to Walgreens instead where they locked my package in a cabinet and texted proof of drop-off at their location. And the lady who took the package smiled and thanked me for coming in!! They Mixed up my shipment and sent something I sold to someone else so my buyer didn't receive the correct item. I then had to refund my buyer and go get my package from Bizexpress where I found it not in the state I dropped it off. I was then not reimbursed for the shipping charge I paid because he made a mistake and had to send the other package to the correct buyer. I would recommend never using this place if you care about what you are shipping. read more

My husband and I went in today to drop off 8 packages. There was a customer in front of us so we were waiting when my husband was asked to put a mask on (I had one on). He prefers not wear them so he said he'd wait in the car. Not a problem... for me. After my husband walked out (with no confrontation or issue), the gentleman at the counter said that if he left the packages they would just sit there and not be shipped. I explained that I was still there and would take care of it and he told me that they weren't mine so he wouldn't accept them. I then explained that he was my husband to which the gentleman replied that he would verify the names and if so, he would take them. We literally got out of the same car, walked in together, and were talking to each other the entire time we were waiting. Maybe there are rules that I don't know about but how we were treated was unacceptable. Was he going to need our drivers licenses and marriage certificate? I promptly picked up all 8 packages, loaded them in my car, and went to the UPS store in Providence Commons where the staff couldn't be nicer. If my experience isn't enough to demonstrate how little they value their customers, take a few minutes to read the responses they post to other peoples reviews. The audacity to publicly respond to customers in such a manner is shocking. Fortunately, there are numerous other shipping options within a 3 mile radius of this business and I'd highly recommend using those over this one. read more

Located in a convenient location near Harris Teeter, a grocery store. Was provided good service. They sell a variety of products and services. They even offer computer repair which was interesting and unique for a shipping store. It was also helpful they had cards since I was from out of town and needed to ship a last minute gift. This place is also an authorized UPS location. read more

I would give no stars if it was an option. This location is convenient to my home and children's daycare so I've used it a handful of times to drop off pre-labeled and packaged FedEx for work. The owner makes you complete an extra form and asks 10,000 questions about what is in each package. Just completely unnecessary. Never take your laptop to this business for any repairs. A laptop was taken here over 4 months ago for repairs. After dropping it off, the customer had surgery and becoming incapacitated at home after a lengthy hospital stay. While a lengthy recuperating period of time ensued, my family member tried to call this business repeatedly. I attempted to call for her as well. They NEVER pick up the business phone after days of trying to call. She was unable to get to this store physically at the time. When she finally was able to get to the store, the owner 'forgot' he had the laptop at all after having it for MONTHS. There wasn't any paperwork as the owner said "he doesn't do paperwork". It was never worked on at all. He said it would be done "next weekend". It wasn't. The following weekend it still wasn't worked on, but parts were "ordered". At this point, she asked for the laptop back, but he demanded full payment for his labor and for ordering parts. He refused to give the laptop back. Here she is, standing with a heart monitor still on her, she got very upset and reminded him he had her laptop for months and never did a thing to it all those months. He basically denied she brought it in months ago. I KNOW when she brought this computer in as I waited in the car for her while she dropped it off, so she is 100% correct in her statement it was left there months ago; it was APRIL 2018! It's now late AUGUST. She asked for her computer back, minus the parts he put in it, and he refused and only gave her back her hard-drive after she demanded it and he kept her laptop. What kind of business does this?? I used to recommend this business to others. I will now make sure to steer folks away from them. Yes, she swore at him after a 10 minute stand-off before leaving. But he deserved it. I encounter many folks and students in my neighborhood and word of mouth spreads fast. What a cheap shot and how shady. read more

I have a personal DHL account and printed some mailing labels for xmas boxes to Australia. This place is a DHL authorized drop off point, listed on the DHL website. The owner refused to take my DHL package because I didn't buy the postage from him !!!!! He lied straight to my face an told me it was impossible to get them to pick the box up if he didn't make the sale. This is of course DEAD WRONG as it is a 'drop of point' for DHL and he receives a payment for handling from DHL. (Obviously not enough for him to comply with company policy) He then told me to get out when I told him I was on the phone with DHL about it !!! I did call DHL who confirmed that this mans actions were wrong and are investigating internally. DHL then organized pick up from my house at no extra charge. Horrible man, Horrible experience and a total waste of time. read more
