Small deep dish pizza
Jim B.

Tonight was my 3rd visit in a year to Biundo's. Tonight, I had the Meatball Sandwich with a small Salad. The Salad was okay, nothing special. I really liked their House Balsamic dressing. The Meatball Sandwich looked small (short) but it was plenty! There were 2 huge meatballs in it with melted mozzarella on it. The meatballs were tender and tasty. Our server, Leah did a great job. We will return to Biundo's.

Looked up who had some good deep dish pizza and saw a lot of people raving this place. I ordered for pick-up and when I got there, the restaurant was still so busy and seating parties of people even though they were going to close in 30 mins so that in itself speaks volumes about the establishment. Although I was only there to pick up, the people I interacted with were very friendly and warm. The pizza itself looks wonderful and tasted great minus the burnt top part of the crust. Definitely will order again.

Ordered cheese bread and received this cold piece of bread ordered Parmesan cheese fries minutes the Parmesan cheese because there no option for regular fries and received a bunch of garlic on the fires not even mixed in. Food was supposed to be ready at 7:55 and I didn't get it until 8:25. When I arrived I was not even greeted, a couple of people arrived after me and they were taken care of then the waitress came back to me. I know yall are busy seriously I do. But my order was over $75. I know it's not much but still I expect at least the garlic mixed with the fries and the correct bread sticks. Everything was cold! I live 5 min away no way it would be ice cold by the time I arrived home. Never again !

If you're looking for a rustic Italian spot with great vibes, this place is a gem. The ambiance is great and inviting, with personal photos that make it feel warm and homey, perfect for a family night or a casual dinner with friends. The menu is quite impressive with plenty of pizza, pasta, and appetizer options, so there's something for everyone. The highlight for me was building my own pizza. Ofc I built my own, a thin crust with chicken and Alfredo sauce, and it came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made fresh, and they definitely don't hold back on toppings. We also tried the mozzarella sticks and calamari, which were both great. Service was friendly and attentive. I didn't get to try the thick crust pizza since it takes about 45 minutes, but that just gives me a reason to come back!

The pizza here was delicious. I also enjoyed the breadsticks as well. There's such a huge diverse menu of items to select. My friend enjoyed the deep-dish pizza.

This was our second visit. Sunday evening about 630pm place was packed and on a wait of about 30 minutes. This is a casual pizza and pasta restaurant. (44 person capacity). Not ideal for large parties but there was just two of us. Our waitress was Jennifer (I believe she is one of the owners). She was attebtive and friendly. We ordered the garlic cheese bread for an appetizer. Flavorful and cane out warm and cheesy! I had the gnocchi in vodka sauce. Delicious cooked, perfectly and flavorful. My husband ordered to pan pepperoni pizza. Tons of cheese but lacking in thevpepperoni department but came out hot, cheesy and good otherwise. Would recommend if you are in the area! Worth a try!

This place is unreal! We showed up at 12:55 on a Saturday and there was already a line down the sidewalk. It's a smaller place that fills up fast. The service is friendly and prompt. The pizza is a true pie. Best deep dish I have found south of Chicago. It does take a while but it's worth it. We will make the drive many times for this place.

You can see a table, which sat empty over 20 minutes before a couple was finally seated

Food? Absolutely delicious, we had the deep dish pan pizza, chicken parm and chicken penne pasta with vodka sauce and started with the zucchini fries.......We arrived at 6pm on Saturday night, there was a wait given the restaurant only seats 44 people......only negative, very understaffed, they need to have a bus boy on busy nights and a hostess......we waited at the front for someone to put us on the wait list for over 10 minutes and tables were available but it took them forever to clean them off......essentially because 3 waitresses were doing everything while working their 11 tables......they don't take reservations so waiting 35 minutes to be seated for a great meal isn't a big deal, but with the proper staffing, that wait time could easily have been and should have been cut in half......with the take out business they were doing (that was another HUGE disruption to the 3 waitresses) they can afford a hostess and bus boy at minimum wage. UPDATE: I see Jennifer B responded to my initial review - I appreciate your response - however, you're still understaffed - From 6:02pm when we arrived until we left at roughly 8pm - the only employees busing tables were the 3 waitresses - the only employees checking in guests and placing them on the waiting list were the 3 waitresses - customers sitting outside (on a cold night) and seeing 3 open unbused tables adds to dissatisfaction and frustration (that often leads to poor tipping, which is NOT a result of the waitresses performance but managements reluctance or u willingness to staff properly) and less than 5 star reviews - notice I did NOT say we waited 40 minutes for our entrees to arrive (and another 10 after that for the deep dish pizza) - that's because we understand you're busy, especially seeing all the to-go pick up orders and the two delivery guys running in and out - AGAIN, staffing is important, NOT just for customer satisfaction, but enhanced Employee Morale / our waitress sat at our table to take our order because she was so exhausted from bussing, waiting, hostessing and tracking down take out orders.....the extra $100 a night it would cost for BOTH a hostess & full time bus boy (4pm-8pm.....$50 a piece) will ENHANCE productivity and PROFITABILITY

Late shot but not too late. Excellent pizza

Originally from Chicago, we've struggled to find a good pizza in the area. This is a great Chicago tavern style - highly recommend.

I've come to this place more than once. I usually don't have an issue with the place. The small…read moresalad starts at $9.95 and goes up from there. If you want protein it can range from I think $3-almost $5? And if you want avocado then you pay another $2. So it's a little pricey than a salad you'll get somewhere else but you also are customizing it. The only thing I always notice though is the staff always look like they don't wanna be there. They usually aren't very welcoming as well. Today one of the staff members was eating close to the line. Do they not get a lunch break? My husband saw one of the staff members eating bread, a small bowl of noodles and a drink by the register. Idk that just looked off to me. Anywho, The salads are a little pricey but they are also pretty big portions even if you're getting a small.

It started out great! Not so much lately. I live in the area, but drive to the Mansfield location…read morefor 2 reasons. 1. They're almost always out of multiple ingredients. 2. There's a young lady at this location with a nasty attitude. I go out of my way to be polite and respectful, but I don't like dealing with attitude from a young girl when all I want is a salad/wrap and respect. I don't even expect workers to be friendly, just don't be nasty/rude. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because we all have bad days. Nope! She's nasty and rude every time I've seen her, so for now, I'll avoid this location.

It was decent. We…read moreare new to the area and still trying out the many restaurants in Mansfield. We were feeling like a salad so we tried Salata today. We both had a small salad. Don't be fooled by 'small' - they're plenty big as a meal for one person. We both had the mixed greens but there were many greens options. Then came a myriad of vegetable options, the cheese, beans and more. Then dressings galore. All of these are included in the base salad price. $9.95 in my case with the small salad. Then came the protein options, both animal and vegan. I got grilled chicken and my wife got grilled salmon. The salads are made in stainless steel bowls. Near the end of the line, they use tongs to toss the salad well with your chosen dressing. My wife had 2 different dressings, both on the side. Then you can choose bread. I chose none. My wife chose what looked like baked of fried pita bread chips. Adding protein to the salads drove the cost by $3.95 (chicken) and $4.95 (salmon). My wife ordered a tea - that was $2.75. With tax and 15% gratuity, our lunch out cost $38.89. Not inexpensive. We both felt the lettuce and vegetables were all fresh. The proteins were great too. She enjoyed her ginger tea as well. Was the value there? This is a close one. I felt it was a bit too spend, yet I did enjoy the meal. Salata for me is a place I will return to, but will not be in heavy rotation. I do recommend Salata to anyone who enjoys a great, fresh salad with lots of options.
