After hearing about Primo Hoagies opening up in Albany, I decided to go on the Primo Hoagies app and placed my order for a customized primo size Abruzzi ($13.59 plus tax) with additional free toppings. I drove about 2 miles to Primo Hoagies and my sandwich was ready and bagged when I arrived. The Abruzzi hoagie (12" size) served cold, had plenty of deli sliced roasted pork with provolone cheese, broccoli rabe, oregano, oil, black pepper, adding shredded lettuce, tomatoes, hot banana peppers, red onions, & pickles in a very firm & very chewy sesame seeded hoagie roll. Other than the tough thick bread roll, the sandwich was pretty tasty. We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch. The Delice de Bourgogne was the star of the show, a creamy, earthy, and savory masterpiece. The two year aged Gouda and creamy blue cheese were delightful as well!
