    Kimchi fried rice with shrimp

This was a co-workers recommendation. I would not have guessed that it was an "asian fusion" type restaurant by the name. It's tucked back in Calder Way and off the main drag. There is a metered parking lot nearby or you can find a garage that's 3 blocks away. We were quickly seated and service was great. The restaurant was clean, small and interesting. They have tables with swings for chairs? Unfortunately, we sat in regular chairs. I'm not sure if this place was something else previously but there was some out of place decor. The menu has a variety of asian inspired options with rice or noodles. Some options were familar and others were new to me. Food presentation was excellent. Our party, in general, raved about their dishes. I got the kimchi fried rice and thought there would have been pieces of kimchi throughout but no. We enjoyed their variety of tea options and drank two whole pots on a cold winter's day. Everything had great spice and kick. Pricing was reasonable with most dishes around $12-14.

We went a Saturday evening in June. It wasn't busy at the time we went. Minimal decor which I didn't really mind . They have swings as seats. Food was delicious. There's not much Asian dishes around the area as we were visiting and heavily depended on the reviews of other establishments. So this was the place to be. As in the photos, I had the shrimp udon and matcha lava dessert.the chocolate oozed of the cake it was delish with the matcha ice cream. The shrimp udon was what I expected it to be We shared crispy duck roll. There's definitely flavor when you take a bite. We had oysters too but I didn't take a photo. We devoured them.

I kept hearing great things about Bistrozine and I am so glad I finally tried it. The food was SO good. The seafood explosion tastes like a tiny crabcake with the yummiest sauces on top. The crispy duck roll is divine. The chocolate truffle bomb was amazing, has a chocolate cake shell and creamy chocolate truffle inside. My friends loved everything they got. Service is attentive and quick. I'll definitely be back!

OMG YUM. This little place is tucked in an alcove and can be hard to find if not familiar with the area, but well worth the search! I had a ribeye stir fry and cheeseburger wontons and both were absolutely delicious. My friends enjoyed the chicken stir fried rice, which came in a bowl topped with fried chicken and an egg. I also had the Bistrozine lemonade, which looked really cool and tasted great. No alcohol is served here, but they are BYOB. They have a few really cool tables where one side is a swing you can sit on. The restaurant was very clean and service was friendly and fast. I would definitely visit here again!

Another wonderful return visit to Bistrozine! Not only does their food tantalize your taste buds (and always comes out piping hot!), their drinks and dishes are a feast for the eyes as well! I love that they are right across the street from PSU, but are nestled in a quaint little alcove, which provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the college main strip!

This restaurant is tucked in a little side street in State College that I was glad to come across. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice modern decor. One thing that stood out was that in the one seating section one half of the table party had a swing that served as the chair. I did it try it since I was a single but the couple next to me each took a turn using it and enjoyed it. My Kimchi fried rice with pork was delicious and the pork was very tender and flavorful. The service was great and the waitress checked in often to make sure all was well.

A hidden gem @ State College. The Asian fusion food and service was outstanding. One of the best Crispy Calamari I've had in a while to start off our meal. Then came my wife's Crispy Duck Roll. Without a doubt, a must if you enjoy duck. I myself had the Spicy Miso. Who's knew we'd have an Asian fusion experience in PA that would compare to NY dives. Enjoy the pics. We definitely enjoyed our meal. P.S. Homemade Chocolate Lava

This place is off the beaten path but truly worth it. Went here with my girlfriend and son. As always, we had to order to much food. Got the spicy chicken bites, cheeseburger dumplings, pork ramen and the Can't see me Ramen. The dumplings were amazing and so were both ramen. The Can't see me ramen was spicy. The chicken bites were not, but they were good. Love the crispy texture. We would go here again. You really have to try this place!

So I adore small plates and this restaurant has a scrumptious assortment. We ordered the Seafood Explosion (my favorite), Bacon Cheeseburger Dumplings, and Crispy Duck Roll starters. Plus Kimchi Bulgogi Tots, Ramen, and Vegetarian Curry Meatballs. We shared family-style. The service was attentive, fast and helpful -- one of our party ordered beef with ramen and the wait person kindly prompted "pork?" The suggestion was gentle, appreciated and phenomenal. The setting is cleverly designed. Oh and the beverages are to die for. The Matcha Iced Coffee Float was amazing. The scoop of green tea took me back to Japan. Five of us ate with appetizers, drinks and tip for $140. Everything we had was delicious! Definitely worth visiting!

Coming from someone who truly understands what authentic food is, this place is the best in State College! I have been to the vast majority of restaurants here and not a single one compares. This place is unlike any other- the dishes here are extremely special and cool looking. You will leave this place very very satisfied. Mark my words. 10/10

The servers and front of house workers are pleasant and eager to help. The restaurant is rather small with very little seating and a small bar. I had a group of 7 for our Supper Club and they took us shortly after opening so that they could better serve us. Our waitress was super helpful with suggestions and answered any questions that we had about the menu. She was helpful and accommodating, not to mention patient with all of our questions! We indulged in multiple appetizers, different entrées, and even dessert. Here's my review of each part of the meal: Smoked Chicken Pierogies: These pierogies were different and delicious. They were super flavorful, but they were unique and worthy of trying! Foccacia: I cannot say enough good things about their foccacia. It was perfectly soft and plump and included 3 unique dipping sauces that blew me away: red pepperonata, whipped ricotta pepper honey, and pomegranate molasses. I couldn't believe how good all of it tasted! Mustard Glazed Salmon: This dish came with butternut squash hummus & grains. The salmon was cooked perfectly and flavored well with the mustard. I didn't love the grains and the hummus was underwhelming, but it was a unique dish. Blackberry & Pumpkin Crepes: These Crepes were flavorful and delicious. The pumpkin was not overly spiced up so this was a perfect light dessert to end our meal. The blackberry Crepes weren't as flavorful but delicious and nice to try. Other people in my group had the fall lasagna, diver scallops, pub burger, and bolognese, and all dishes got rave reviews! I also had a Pumpkin Espresso Martini. The flavor was great. I was disappointed in the overly salted rim and the lack of espresso beans on top, but I'd drink it again because it was delicious overall. This place was a welcomed surprise and the flavor combinations were unique and different. This place is definitely something to talk about!
