My wife and I have had tapas style food a number of times. So, when we saw this place online, we just had to try it. Upon being seated, we realized that the menu was entirely in French, but that turned out to be a blessing. Martin, our most gracious host, said that he would be happy to simply bring out various dishes if we agreed, and being the adventurous foody types, we happily agreed. Well, the combinations that Martin put together for us, over the 2 trips we made to the restaurant, were absolutely unique and amazing. We will definitely be back whenever we come to visit Bromont.

Anyone who ever visits Bromont, Quebec, Canada (a small mountain resort town about 40 minutes east of Montreal) has to eat at Bistro Le 633... I was in Bromont for 6 meals and 3 of them ended up at 633. And I expect there to be more this summer! All meals were fantastic, I would recommend to never pass up a chance to have their version of French onion soup, with the Cheeky Bastard Stout au jus...).

Patio and lovely ambiance inside.

Fabulous place. We are having onion soup and a beautiful Sav Blanc to go with it. Tapas menu with many interesting items on it. English and French menu. Popular place

Beautiful ambiance. Excellent service. The tapas menu is creative and a thrill to the palate. This was my second time there in 1 week.

Excellent Tapas. Nice outdoor dinning in the village. We shared the seared tuna, beet risotto, salad and hummus.

Hands down the worst hospitality experience I've had in Vermont which is insanely saddening because…read moreof how kind the folks are here. Tonight the waiter or manager Matt or "long haired dude" in other post was insanely rude to me this evening. We waited an hour to get a table, expressed discomfort with the table and wanted to move. He told us no multiple times due to a waitlist- how is that possible when the website shows "first come first serve" concept. Anyways we wanted to switch to the bar, told us the bar stools were reserved (how can you reserve a bar stool if you don't accept reservations), then noticed a three top leave as I asked asked to move there as well, he rudely said he had another three top going there and there is no where he could put us, then finally more guest left and I was able to get us a seat at the bar. I was excited to finally change seats and he rudely put his arm out and said "we have to clean it first!!" There are ways you can go about things but he was insanely rude and unprofessional. Then I saw other guest who sat at that uncomfortable table also want to move (that's how shit of a table it was) and then to top it all off this person sat other two tops at three top tables that we were denied because we were a two top. For $70 for a cheeseburger, potato's, and soda I expect kind service. If I can stretch my arms out and touch the backs of guest at the bar and guest to my other side.... The tables are too close together.

The last time my bf and I went we ordered a special which was Dan Dan noodles with pork, the cheeseburger, and burrata with bruschetta to start. All of the food was full of flavor and fair portion size. Restaurant poco does not take reservations in advance. It's easier to get a seat in spring summer or fall when they open up their outdoor seating and so can host more guests. You have to go to put your name on the wait list regardless of the season and even in summertime with more seating it can be a 20-40min wait. They play good funky music which can sometimes be overwhelmingly loud inside (I.e. a jock jam will be playing at club volume level), that's one of my few complaints. You can be at a two person table and only a few feet away from your dinner date but not always hear them. This happens mostly just during the winter. Outdoor seating is nice with outdoor lights and easy to see and hear whomever you're dining with. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone as they always have great tasting food and good drinks. A little on the pricier side, but worth it.

Calamari for an app. A lobster roll for my meal and a drink. The sangria came quick and was good, a little syrupy. The calamari and lobster roll took a while, but maybe they are a bit more relaxed in Canada. No one was available, even for me to waive down, no check ins either. Again, probably customary in Montreal, I don't know the culture that well. The calamari was pretty looking, but it was tough as a well done leather glove. The "lobster roll" had about two pieces of lobster, the rest was small shrimp. The flavor was good, the bun was perfect. But still, for the price, a disappointment. The French fries were delicious but soggy. Maybe that was a spin on Poutine.??? I sat for an hour without being able to get someone. I will not return.

Open kitchen with two chefs and two front of the house staff who were warmly welcomed me and were professional throughout. Had the oysters, clean and crisp with a nice Spanish Cava. Tried the lobster croquetas and the anchovy toast points. Tapas were in point, the anchovies were a tad too salty for me. Ended up ordering the catch of the day, butterflied sea bream. It was the piece de resistance. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the cheek/head was juicy all the way to the tail. The sides were fine, the papas bravas could have been crispier, but fine. Green beans were nicely seasoned. Had half and waved the white flag. Paired it with a tasty Albariño. Great start to quick sojourn in Montreal.

I was really excited to try Cadet because it was a Michelin recommended restaurant but…read moreunfortunately the food was not as expected. The restaurant had a vibrant vibe and minimalist. The service was friendly but they seemed short staffed that night. We were trying to refill our water glasses but it took a while since I couldn't find any waiter or waitress around. Now let's start with the food: Focaccia: 5/5 bread was warm, toasty and tasty but the dip was the highlight Leeks with smoked mackerel, mustard, tobikko: (2.5/5) too creamy with a hint of mackerel and leeks Calamari chou-fleur, asian pear, chili beurre blanc: (2/5) very soupy and too much cream and not flavorful Black cod miso sauce, daikon, kale: (2.5/5) cod was tender but my bite had too much miso on it. It was extremely salty and not well balanced Beef tartare with mushrooms, Asiago: (1/5) mushy texture and way too much Asiago cheese. Flank steak with burnt chili salsa, szechuan pepper sauce, pickled peppers: (2/5) steak was not tender at all and the sauce was overwhelming Fried sea bass with bok choy, soya, nuoc mam (3/5): presentation was great but too many bones with too little meat. Flavor was good and I enjoyed the warm crispy fish with the Vietnamese style salad Overall, my special dinner was disappointing. I felt like the main ingredient never shined and their cheese or cream or sauce were just too overpowering. I really wanted to like Cadet but it fell short of my expectations.

THIS WAS AMAZING…read more food here was flawless, every dish was absolutely perfect and creative. the ingredients are top shelf quality and put together with tons of care. I had the most amazing meal here. Genuinely the BEST beef tartare i've ever had in my life, it was chopped perfectly and flavor wise just absolute perfection. Rich, cheesy but still fresh and the beef flavor was present and well seasoned. Focaccia was great as well, the grill flavor really stuck with me and was a perfect touch of crunch and flavor. I enjoyed my leeks as well, i've never had them prepared this way so it was a unique touch. Their cocktails were good with some nice twists on classics, I got the oolong old fashion which was a pretty classic old fashion with a slight tea after taste. the highlight of the meal though was the desert . it was brûlée bananas with a chocolate cheesecake and omg that was the best touch to the meal ever. we got the wine pairing with it as well and they went together like bread and butter. the wine was sweet but had a fruitier taste to counteract the richness of the banana and chocolate. it was the most delightful experience and wasn't a bank breaker either. service here was attentive and amazing, extremely friendly and informative. the ambiance was on the fancier side, with darker lighting. during my time in montreal, this restaurant easily took home my favorite.
