Les hôtes offrent un service désorganisé, un peu cahotique et même effronté a exiger des pourboires avec l'achat d'une bouteille d'eau. Quel manque de classe. Le comble de la soirée Ballonnements, nausée, vomissements, malaises qui furent ressenti parmi un grand nombre d'invités, tous des services santé de l'hospital régional.... We had driven up from Philly that day. I had made reservations in advance, having never before been to St Jean sur Richelieu. We loved the place, had a fantastic dinner. We liked it so much that we made reservations for the following Saturday at the end of our bike tour. The second time around was as good as the first even though we consumed somewhat less alcohol. I have one vegetarian friend and one gluten-free friend, both of whom were able to eat here.

This well-known eatery seems to have issues with being short-staffed like many other businesses so these ladies have to hustle when more people arrived. The same must apply to the kitchen staff as it took some of us longer than others to get our food. What surprised me is that I ordered the Avocado Salad (special) for lunch, with a side of fries, and the fries came out first. Almost 20 minutes later my salad, which was more of an appetizer (I should have asked) came out - last!!
