We started with drinks. Pooh's dad (Andre) and I had Bloody Caesars, Pooh had a beer and Marie a house cocktail. The cocktail was too floral. Our Caesars were great. For appetizers Marie and Pooh had mussels, Andre, a Caesar salad and I had the French Onion soup. Marie, Pooh and Andre had the fillet mignon and I had the bavette (flank steak). The cook on the steaks varied. Pooh and I ordered medium-rare; Marie ordered medium and Andre ordered medium-well. Pooh's steak was medium and my steak was medium-rare at the thinner end and very rare (almost blue) at the thicker end. Pooh, Marie and Andre had a baked potato without any butter and I had french fries. We shared two bottles of Italian red wine which was an excellent choice for the steaks.
