My ancestors would kill me if they find out. Maybe that's why I don't have my photo. The small pizza was well cooked and enjoyable. The spaghetti was ok but you can taste that the meat sauce is sweet. The portion was large but my glycemic index just exploded. I skipped desert and washed everything down with a joe. I should have tried the chicken place down the street. Next time. All in all a traditional resto in a smaller town where you can't push things too far if you wanna stay in business. It's clean it's cheap staff is friendly the food is honest. I got a two hour drive to fight to stay awake.

I had the Lonster sandwich and my client had the Lobster ravioli with Lobster bisck sauce We also had an appetizer of calamari. The entree arrived and the calamari was soggy, yet hot. So it felt like the oil was not hot enough. But the calamari itself was tasty and tender. So it seems like it was just badly executed. Then our main meals arrived. The lobster in my sandwich was shredded and had a pinkish colour. It had a slightly pasty texture. It also did not look like the image that showed large chunks of lobster. My client tasted his ravioli and said it tasted off. When checking the filling it was pink also. I'm just guessing, but it almost looks like they cut the filling with salmon. That would explain the colour and fishy / salmone taste both our dishes have. We mentionned it to our server, but she is convinced that it is pure lobster. My client worked in restaurant kitchens for years, and I have a pretty good palette. We were not going to argue with the server, but we do not feel like we got what we paid for. Every July we come to Montreal to visit my wife's relatives, and take an excursion to Quebec City. Last year we stopped at Trois-Rivières for the tour of churches including the full Ursulines convent tour and loved it so we are repeating a stop at this midpoint city between MTL and QC. The drive takes about 2.5 hours so a stop is good. Last year this restaurant was closed on the day we traveled but this year they were open. My son (10), stepson (23), wife and I had an excellent breakfast. The food is delicious, it tastes like they clean the grill regularly and don't use too much grease, and the portions are large. The short answer here is that you must come to this fun, comic book-themed diner, particularly with family. My wife and I think it's perfect and the children are so happy. Even if you have leftover food they're only 50 cents a sushi, I walked away with 20 for 10$. At the IGA across the street that's like 18 .99 + tax for worse quality and made three days ago. The general Tao and the fried foods ( tempura, fries) aren't bad at all but a kinda boring. Stick to the sushi bar.
