The Tall Man and I were looking for an easy place for dinner delivery while on vacation in Magog,…read moreand Chich Taouk was a great option. The food was quickly prepared and delivered by Doordash, with more than enough leftovers for another meal for me. I got the assiette gyros / gyro plate, which came with many sides, including a very pungent garlic sauce. The hummus was good but very heavy handed with cumin. In the future I would order without tabbouleh to make it gluten free. Otherwise, it was a very flavorful and abundant meal, with the gyro meat still tender if a bit salty. The Tall Man got the assiette végétarienne / falafel vegetarian plate, which came with a generous portion of nicely fried falafel along with the same rice and sides as my dish. Very convenient and a pretty good value. We would order again.

We did the set menu, where we were able to choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I got the squash ravioli which was amazing for the appetizer and for my main, I ordered the lobster and shrimp pasta. The sauce was great, but I think the first time I had it was better. The noodles were stuck together and were not al dente. But it was still delicious. I ended my meal with the molten lava cake and it was perfection.

My favourite cafe/restaurant in Sherbrooke by far! So many fond memories were made at this spot…read more The food is unique and always delicious, with Toussaint (chef) bringing lots of spice and unique flavour from his Mauritian background. The decor is lively and unique, Donimique's art decorating throughout, and the staff are always very friendly (they even convinced me to dance on my birthday). I can't say enough about how warm and hospitable everyone at Classyco has been each of the many times I've returned. The menu allows you to combine a variety of proteins (octopus, chicken, scallops, shrimps, squid, fish, beef, or a vegetarian melange) with a variety of preparations (Indian curry,Cajun, creole, coco seychellois, to name a few), along with available soup, salad, and deserts. My personal recommendation is to ask Toussaint to cook whatever he's feeling at the time-- the curried octopus was very tender and extremely tasty- but I have never gone wrong. They have a patio for when the weather is good, and BYOW is also a nice option, though not uncommon in these parts. With a combination of great people, wholesome quality food, and nothing but very fond memories, this was definitely my favourite place to eat while in the townships.
