This is a special place. The people are courteous and friendly. The food is hot & delicious. I absolutely loved the gospel music playing in the background. The food is down home yum! Sundays at 11AM is when they open and I am trying to get there ASAP before all the churches let out. It is a to go establishment, you pay and go thru the service line. The restaurant is now at Culture Coffee 1029 NE 6th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73117 not 23rd street and only on Sundays. I think it ends at 3PM so get there fast. read more

What a great soul food location. I'd never even heard of this place until we searched google for soul food and decided to try out this place. All you can eat buffet, 2 for $20. They had fried chicken, fried catfish, and cajun casserole for the main entres. I got the green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese with jalapeno cornbread. Everything was delicious. Enjoyed this location on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. We had a large group (12) individuals so I am grateful the place wasn't packed. A slow stream of people came and went which is always encouraging. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The buffet didn't look to appetizing but on the plus side, kids 5 and under can eat it for free. The kids ate fruit and sausage and juice but ordered fresh pancakes and eggs from the menu. Our food took awhile...probably because there were so many of us. Everything came out HOT and everything was delicious!!! We had a mixture chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits and red velvet waffles. We also enjoyed the unlimited $2 pineapple and strawberry mimosas - delicious! No complaints, will return again! PS Don't understand the rocks in the bathroom sink. Lol! read more

This has been one of my favorite places to eat. The waitress is always nice and friendly. Their Saturday brunch bottomless mimosa was worth it. I'm not sure if they are still doing it or not. I've tried the shrimp pasta, salmon,chicken and beignets. All the food was great. read more

I tried Seafood Friday here last night. I was very excited because seafood Friday included an all you can eat crab option and seafood buffet. The options on the buffet included: blackened tilapia, fried catfish, shrimp and grits, fried shrimp, corn, Mac n cheese, chicken pasta, green beans, cabbage. When I arrived it smelled so delicious in there. The buffet was not self served, there were 2 servers asking us what we wanted. I didn't care for that. The buffet started at 6 and by 7:15 they had completely ran out of food; talk about disappointment. The food was tasty, but poor management led to patrons not actually getting all you can eat. The crab- it took and hour and 45 mins for them to Bri g the first round of crab. I was pretty upset that it took so long. When the crab came out, it was overly seasoned and way too salty. Couldn't even enjoy what I had sat there waiting on. We were waiting for crab and all the food was gone. The only explanation they gave was we didn't expect this many people-- ITS ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB! The workers were rude and treated customers as if we didn't have a right to be frustrated about dinner. Will not be returning sadly! Very unprofessional service. read more

Great Mac n cheese, steamed cabbage with onion, fried chicken, jalapeño cornbread, potatoes with white gravy for $8+ tip. Simple cafeteria style service: grab a tray, pour a drink (tea, lemonade, water), and tell the ladies what you want. Meal includes one meat and three sides. Choices rotate, but if you get a chance on that mac'n'cheese, do not pass it up! read more

No. Just no. Part of the Courtyard Marriott hotel. The first time I went for for breakfast I waited 5 minutes and was "I was going to wipe down that table" while 5 customers were served at the counter. I tried a second day, figuring the first day was a fluke. I was served a cold egg sandwich at $8.50. When I told them it was cold the response was "it's the microwave". Go figure. When it was brought back out to me with the burnt bread, the "turbo oven" doesn't always heat properly. They do have cold beer for the "happy hour" that is from 5-7 pm at the same price as regular hour. Skip the food. So many other options at more reasonable values with in walking distance. read more

The Sunday buffet is where it's at. Every Sunday from 12-4 there's a full buffet including a salad bar and dessert. There's always three or more meat choices and at least five sides. They'll also always have rolls or corn bread. There's a wait staff to take away plates and refill your drinks, iced tea or lemonade are included in the price. You can eat 2/$20 which is such a great deal for an actual real meal. It's supporting the community because it's locally owned and operated. I've never left here on an empty stomach. In fact, you're guaranteed a great meal and a good Sunday nap after a trip to bistro 46. Bring the whole family, there's seating enough for them all. They also have events on Fridays and Saturdays. I'd happily recommend this place again and again for not just the great food for a great price, but also the wonderful service. read more
