    Spice Wing meal

Glad this Food truck decided to make its way onto Tinker. I think there was a slight issue with the time it took to get food out to customers (15 minutes) but with only one cook and one taking orders I know there's not much they can do. I could tell they were making the orders to go and weren't pre-prepared meals. The menu offered a good variety of meals too, oxtail, chicken, ribs, rice plantains and different drinks. I ordered the Spice Wing meal which came with 5 wings, rice and peas, and plantains. The wings were good, I felt they could've been "crispier" though. Flavor was pretty good, but I've had jerk wings before that were more flavorful. If 5 wings aren't enough, you can add a wing $1 per additional wing. The rice peas and plantains were decent also. Overall, decent, I'll order again and I really enjoy them coming out to Tinker.

Coming from a Jamaican family who was raised in Jersey/NYC, I thought after 4 years of living here I would not find any authentic Jamaican food. Happy to say I was wrong! Thanks to Google and yelp, I came across this hidden gem, the Jamaican Thunder (a food trunk). One might be cautious when thinking of Jamaican food and a food trunk, but they nailed it!! I had curry chicken, rice and peas, and plaintains. My total was $10, which for the portion given, I thought was excellent (you can pay by credit card btw). The curry chicken had a delicious flavor and was not spicy. The rice and peas was so good and not a "gummy" texture. Customer service-usually my fellow islanders aren't the most talkative bunch but the owner was friendly and engaging. If you go to their facebook www.facebook.com/jtfoodtruck/ or visit their website jamaicanthunder.com you can view their schedule to determine where they will be located. Definitely will be returning customer!

Wow. This food truck is amazing! I had the oxtail plate for $15 and I was not disappointed. After visiting a soul food restaurant in Fort Worth and having oxtails I was very interested in finding a similar option inOKC. Yelp never lets me down with the suggestions and after I saw this place I had to have a try. I went out for oxtail Friday this last week and it was so delicious! I liked them on Facebook and I will definitely be back!

Authentic Jamaican food #jamaicanthunder food truck! #carribeanflavor The wings flavor was off the chart. The Jamaican bread was perfectThe Jamaican soda ting & ginger beer are my favorite sodas right now. The $10 meals are worth every penny. Proud of my classmate Terrell Jack

Started with chips and salsa. Chips come fresh and hot, made in-house. Salsa packs real heat with a nice spicy kick and tastes very fresh. I ordered the Puerto Rican beef empanadas; they delivered big flavor. I then ordered the two-taco combo next. The original beef fried taco stands out as fantastic, crispy shell, juicy seasoned beef. The Jamaican jerk chicken taco tastes good but runs a bit dry. Still finished every bite. Combo includes two sides; I added their soup and loved it, rich and excellent. Staff is super friendly and nice. They mentioned they are waiting for a liquor license soon, so drinks expand later. The restaurant is super clean. Worth the short hunt to the back. Go try it next time you shop furniture or just want solid tacos. You will leave full and happy.

The young lady behind the counter was on her first day and she did great. Took a few for my order to go. I was the only one there. Had some nice music playing and big screen TVs all around the place. Only thing tht was a minor issue as there was a touch to much salt in the empanada filling mix. Not bad, just a touch over. The dip trios and home cooked chips were outstanding. It's guacamole, salsa and cheese dips.
