6/28/21: I've never been here before, but my family wanted to stop here. They loved it back home, so I went with it. We got a sausage biscuit, chicken biscuit combo with strawberry lemonade, and 2 bacon egg & cheese biscuits with home fries and an iced tea. My family loved their food, but the bacon egg and cheese had cold cheese on it. It wasn't melted at all. The strawberry lemonade wasn't sweet at all, so I didn't care for it. My sausage biscuit was dry, so I didn't eat all of it. I may go back and try the pancake platter. The service was good though and there was plenty of parking available. I hadn't been to Biscuitville in a while and the line wasn't long so I pulled in. They had the Spam breakfast biscuit featured and hit had been years since I had Spam, so I gave it a try. I opted for a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, cheese grits, and a side of gravy, to get a sampling of 'local' dishes. The biscuit, itself, was top-notch, five stars by itself. As good or better than Hardee's, which I have long considered my favorite. The egg and cheese were fine, but the sausage was a bit dry, like it had been in the warmer too long. The cheese grits were rather bland, and the cheese was just some shredded cheddar on top of regular ol' grits. The gravy was just your standard white pepper gravy. I guess I had expected a sausage or sausage-flavored variety, so was a bit disappointed. I'll be back, earlier in the day, to try other menu offerings, or at least another biscuit. read more

I can't honestly review the food. I placed my order via the drive thru on Tuesday 8/15.. However when I picked it up the order was wrong. The point of sale system that Biscuitville utilizes lacks effectiveness and a customer service nightmare.The biscuit maker/manager thought it professional to scream once the mistake was brought to her attention that I would need to pay for the difference to make the order right. I never complained that I had to but her rude and abrasive behavior was disturbing. She found it acceptable to be aggressive in a manageable situation in front of her coworkers.The drive thru cashier was apologetic yet her coworker's actions were not her fault. At the present time Biscuitville does not have stores in Charlotte proper but no worries I will let all know that customer service isn't a priority. read more

I wanted to visit atleast one of their locations during my visit to the Triad area. I like that they make their biscuits in house and you can see if as part of their live kitchen...very different from other fast foods! I was excited to try this place; however, I was disappointed to say the least. The biscuits were absolutely fantastic; however the other parts weren't anything to write home about. The picture of the double sausage egg and cheese biscuit looks devine. But the final product did not match the hype. The grits were watery and the scrambled eggs were dry. I would love to try the one with pimento cheese but apparently that is a special, has not been on the menu the last couple of times I was here. My only complaint is that they are not open all day. Not only did they completely screw up our order and gave our order to the car before us. They never apologized and gave us the incorrect refund by shorting us .40 cents. We ordered 14 dollars worth of items and was given a bag containing 2 cups of fries. After the young lady at the window handed us a bag of fries and saw that we were still there, she then said," do you need something?" in a very unprofessional tone. We explained that we weren't given the correct order. We then attempted to give her back the fries that we didn't order, and she told us that she couldn't take them back and told us to throw it away. When we asked where is the nearest trashcan, she replied, "I don't know?" So I had to walk all the way behind the building to throw away the wrong order that she refused to dispose of herself. We were then asked to pull up where we watched three cars receive their correct order. In the end, we got tired of waiting for our order and was still offered no apology. When my husband went inside to get a refund, they shorted him by .40 cents. This was a terrible experience, and I pray that this isn't the norm. I saw this place along the road after exiting the highway to go to my hotel and literally laughed out loud. Biscuitville? Really? Now if I didn't think the South was podunk enough, that certainly did it. And if podunk was my expectation, Biscuitville definitely lived up to it. The decor alone was comical. Biscuits EVERYWHERE. And such happy looking biscuits! The first time I had a biscuit for breakfast was two years ago in South Carolina -- my first time anywhere south of Norfolk, Virginia. The biscuit breakfast sandwich at Biscuitville was pretty decent as far as fast food goes. The biscuits were big and fresh; you could even see them making them when I stopped by just after 6am. The coffee was strong and hot. The one thing that made this joint stick out (other than the name and interior decorating) was the service. All of the ladies working were as smiley as the biscuit paintings on the walls and were genuinely sweet and friendly. I ordered a friend chicken biscuit with pimento cheese and a hash brown. The hash brown was similar to McDonald's hash browns, so I did enjoy that part of the meal. I did not care for the biscuit (not flaky, which I prefer) and the amount of pimento cheese on the breakfast biscuit was way too much. I don't get the draw to this place. I went for the first time the other day and I wasn't impressed at all. The young lady at the drive-thru was abrupt and rude. They weren't busy at all so it was difficult to sympathize with her by saying, "well they are just busy." I was in a hurry so I let it slide for the most part.
