These are by far the best fast food biscuits I have ever tasted. I usually go with the biscuit sandwiches but decided to change things up with the breakfast platter. There sausage Gravy is to die for! Can't go wrong with whatever you decide to order.

The coffee was hot and constantly refilled, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly in a laid-back environment. I have a hard time resisting traditional eggs Benedict, so that is what I ordered. My partner had the pork loin with eggs and a side of grits. Neither of us was disappointed. This is exactly the kind of breakfast place I enjoy -- good food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The waiter was very polite and friendly, he made sure we had what we needed and answered any questions we had about the menu and food choices. The food was delicious! My niece and cousin had the pancake, they were the size of the plate and quite tasty! My other niece had the crab cake sandwich, she said it was good but the fruit was plated on the same plate so it was warm which was not appealing to her so she didn't eat it. I had the French toast platter with the fried chicken. The French toast was pretty good but the bread used was pretty flat but it was tasty and the chicken was overcooked, there was some black spots from being fried too long. The hit at our table was the cheesy grits, very cheesy and flavorful. We'd definitely go back to try other things on the very extensive menu!!

We ordered our food to go, but the atmosphere inside was nice when we stopped in to pick it up. Our previous frustration wasn't necessarily bad food--it was inconsistency. We'd experienced unanswered calls, calls answered without anyone speaking, and trips there only to find nobody there. That had kept us from returning for a while. This time, my son loved his waffle sliders and gave them a 10/10. My shrimp and grits were also a 10/10! They were flavorful and easily the highlight of my meal. My husband enjoyed his three-piece wings and bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit earned an 8/10, although he wished there was more filling to balance the amount of bread. I ordered a strawberry shortcake waffle but received a strawberry waffle with strawberries and strawberry syrup instead. That was disappointing, and I passed it to another family member, who enjoyed it. We landed on a 7.5/10 for that one, factoring in the order mix-up. Overall, this was a much better experience and gave us a reason to return. I hope the consistency continues because those shrimp and grits and waffle sliders were worth another visit!

My partner visited Black Magnolia last week after her massage at Green Leaf Wellness center and raved about her cinnamon roll, so I decided to treat myself to one as well and it did not disappoint. I found the Patisserie straight away as I passed it on the way to my massage, but the signage on the curb helps since some businesses in Revolution Mills can be quite difficult to find. The storefront itself is quite small, consisting of a standing room and the glass case of baked goods, but there is seating outside and around the establishment. The staff was attentive, briefing me on all the cinnamon rolls they currently had and letting me know that there were some baking that would be available a bit later. Each roll looked decadent with flavors ranging from lemon blueberry, s'mores, and classic. There were also scones and other baked goods available as well, but I had my heart set on the Classic Cinnamon Roll. I bit into this beauty on my way home and it was the softest and most delicious cinnamon roll I have ever had! Baked with brioche dough and topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting, the pillowy texture and flavors were so comforting and satisfying. I don't eat sweets often, so this was the perfect treat to end my day with. I am definitely looking forward to trying the lemon blueberry next!

I will suggest that if you are looking for more of the savory items you do have to get there early because it will sell out. The cinnamon bun and scone were absolutely delicious. I got there right on time because they just took the scones out. So it was freshly iced and so yummy. What's not pictured is the chocolate chip cookie. Just do yourself a favor and try it. It was the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. Just to note, this place is in the cut and you have to go down a few stairs but look for their sign posted outside and parking is right across. I'll definitely come back to try more items.

From the moment we walked in the decor and overall vibe felt like stepping back in time in a good way. You can tell a lot of thought went into the place without it feeling overdone. Service was top tier. Alejandra took care of us and knew the menu inside and out without sounding scripted or fake attentive like some places do. I got the salmon and yeah... ridiculous. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs, the bacon was dried out, and the sausage was so dry and tough that I had to use a knife just to cut through it. For a restaurant with this kind of reputation, I expected fresh, well-prepared food--not something that tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp at a hotel breakfast buffet. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else for brunch.

Our server was excellent, the wine list is impressive, my local beer was fantastic, and my wife enjoyed her wine. The food was where things slipped. My wife's wood-fired salmon was pretty good, but her vegetables came out with no seasoning at all. My wood-fired filet was cooked exactly right, but it also had no seasoning, and when you find yourself asking for steak sauce for a filet, something has gone wrong in the kitchen. Then the peach crumble showed up and stole the entire night. It is genuinely amazing, and I'd tell anyone within earshot to order it. Great atmosphere, great service, great drinks, and a dessert worth the trip. If the kitchen brings the seasoning up to the level of everything else, this is easily a four-and-a-half-star restaurant.

They had counter service this morning, where you order at the counter. Since it was my first visit, the young man could probably tell I was new--he greeted me right away and explained how everything worked. The space was clean, and it faces the rising sun. I'd already picked out the perfect seat to let that morning sunshine shine right in. The lemon ricotta pancakes had been calling my name for a while. The young woman at the counter let me know they're soft because of the ricotta. I appreciated the heads-up, since the texture is different from a regular pancake and someone might otherwise think they weren't fully cooked. They were absolutely out-of-this-world amazing! I ordered the three pancakes and only afterward noticed that you can order them individually. Three was definitely too many for me--I made it through two and was stuffed, so I left one lonely pancake behind. I also ordered a side of bacon to add some protein. They also have the cutest little French market inside, with a whole freezer full of items you can take home and bake yourself. And they just introduced some new menu items today, which will be around for the next couple of months: pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes, braised short ribs, beignets, and a savory Dutch baby. If you're ever downtown, stop by and give this place a try! Ciao for now!

I ordered the Madison Avenue which is a croissant smeared with honey walnut cream cheese, smoked turkey, and granny smith apples. My side was slaw and I also ordered fries with a side of ranch. Upon walking in the place appeared clean, the customer service, not the best. But maybe someone was having a bad day, I get it. I'm so glad I did check my bag before I left because they did not give me ranch or plasticware, man I would have missed out on some amazing ranch. The young man gave me three ranches which I'm so disappointed I only grabbed one. Unfortunately I didn't get the best pictures but the food tasted great. The fries were thick cut (probably frozen) and let me tell you, I would just come back for the ranch! They have my favorite restaurant ranch. The slaw was really tasty - good ole southern sweet mayonnaise slaw, not too vinegary. The sandwich, not bad, good combo of toppings, they paired well together. I' ll be back.
