Mom's apple pie was very rich and delicious. I also ordered the sausage egg cheese breakfast sandwich, It looks pretty good.

First and last time here. Came for breakfast and so greatly disappointed especially at $10 a plate for eggs and pancakes. The best seller "champion"pancakes my daughter ordered were horrible. The description makes them sound amazing and when the plate arrives looked not appetizing at all. Not very many blueberries incorporated and way too much granola. Upon tasting an overwhelming use of cinnamon. Not even close to being good. And the spam... partial my error that I did not read the description completely as it said "fried" and I assumed pan or griddle fried. Unfortunately they are sliced and dropped into the same fry oil they use for French fries. This is NOT how you cook spam. The spam was extremely dry and over salty. If the cook would have pan/griddle cooked would have given a nice browning and kept the meat to its normal texture and flavor. First impressions are so important though the waitress was super nice and took the pancakes off the menu, the food is what brings customers back. Sorry, would not recommend. read more

Super friendly greetings by the host. We decided to get our food to go, and we're given a larger menu to look at (instead of the paper to go menus) which was nice. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Pancake breakfast, and a Denver Omelet. The omelet was good, pancakes good, the eggs on the bene were overcooked to a solid, but the rest of it was good. The hash browns that came with two of the meals were burnt, we have ordered them in the past and they were good, so perhaps that was a one off. Would order all the same things again, but would probably have them put in a note about having a lighter hand with hash browns and eggs. read more

I have been here twice. The first time service was bad. The waitress took our order and never came back. Someone else brought our food to us and I had to go ask for our check. The second time we ordered and waited for our food and then we waited some more. Our waitress while walking by with a table who sat after us their food said "you haven't gotten your food?". Uh you're our waitress and your asking us where our food is? A few minutes later she came back with our food which had a nice chill to it. I don't like eating cold eggs. The food is mediocre and the service is horrible! The hostess and the busser are the only people who seem to care about the customers. We sat here for 20 minutes before the busser took our drink order because the waitress was nowhere to be found....the ladies next to us waited even longer. We had to track down the server to place our food order....so did the ladies next to us. Another table gave up and walked out. The busser and the hostess checked on us several times, but we never saw our waitress after she took our food order.....until it was time to get paid. Very disappointed. read more

I was so happy when my favorite breakfast spot opened a new location even closer. The food is consistent and great. Seems like it should be simple to do basic breakfast correctly, but we all know that it isn't. Biscuits knows how to do it! They have had a few hiccups with the new startup, but they are changing, and improving almost daily! This is the kind of place and the kind if people that if we support them as they get settled, will be an important part of our local scene. read more

Loved it! Came here with my father-in-law for breakfast. Food is amazing. It is pretty loud when full. Absolutely worst service ever! Waited 45 minutes to order after being asked if we were ready to order 20 minutes after sitting at our table. Two tables ordered after us and our food never came. Then waitress says, "oh, they didn't get your order to you?" WTF, you took our order!!! We walked out after wasting nearly 90 minutes with no food! Never again! Also, there isn't any social distancing at this establishment, its business as usual. No spacing between tables nor people! read more

The food was good, but the service was nonexistent. The place slowed down after 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. It took a while for someone to take our order initially (I had had to look around and make eye contact with a server). When we got our food no one checked on us, did not offer to refill a drink or anything at all. I had to get up and go to the register to ask for our check and to go boxes. As we sat waiting we saw tables seated after us get their order taken and get their food - meanwhile we couldn't even get a server to look at us. No excuse for this. My friend brought us here because it was my other half's birthday and he had a great experience here a couple of weeks ago. 45 minutes into it no meal no nothing. We watched 3 other couples that came 15 to 20 minutes after us receive their meals and even pay their bill and leave. I asked to speak to a manager and she had nothing but excuse after excuse. She actually got very argumentative with us and was extremely unprofessional. We shouldn't have to ask someone for water while other people around us that came later got there drinks and food. Oh, and the rude waitress that we had to ask to wait on us turned out to be the rude manager as well. Finally, after waiting 50 minutes we just got up and left. I'm sure this is a great place but I and my friends will never be back nor will I recommend this place. read more

Tried to order out for fist time here and excited for a good home made breakfast. The inside was really cheap and sad. Got my food 45min. Later and cold. Saw many people unhappy. Also was very expensive for what cheap food you get. Best thing was getting my money back. Love living in the Foothills but there is a lack of good food choices in the area. Biscuits is a well known breakfast chain that opened a new location here recently. Happy to report that the food is good and the place appeared busy. Will definitely be back. Recommend the biscuits and gravy or any dish that includes their biscuits. This is an independently owned Biscuits. Owner and manager, Erika, employs an outstanding chef and very friendly staff. We are always greeted with a smile and service is efficient and prompt. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. There is not been anything on the menu that is not outstanding. Prices are very reasonable and the dog-friendly patio is very inviting on cooler days. We seriously love this new local spot! We have tried breakfast and lunch now and everything is delicious! The biscuit and gravy is soft and buttery and so good. Hash browns are fresh. Their grits are the best I've found in the state, hands down. My husband said their pancakes are also the best traditional, no nonsense pancake he's had here. They even serve cocktails -- try their peach Bellini! We recently tried lunch: the bacon cheeseburger with fries and ranch (homemade ranch! I'm a ranch aficionado) and the fried seafood sampler platter with okra and were equally impressed. We liked the light cornmeal batter; the fish was so good but the shrimp was the best part! What's even better is the amazing owners! They are so sweet and personable and go out of their way to say hello and make sure we have a great experience. They even brought us a dessert for our anniversary brunch (that apple pie is delish). We have always had really great service and quick, hot, fresh food. We are thrilled to have this new gem in the foothills! read more

Worst service ever! We will never come here again. The restaurant was empty when we ordered. The restaurant eventually got busy and everyone else got their order before we did. There were four of us, two of us got our order as we waited so that we can eat together. Fifteen minutes later the other two orders never arrived and one order arrived and we ended up canceling the fourth order. Go somewhere else. Not impressed. read more

2nd try at BISCUITS on the corner. NEVER AGAIN! First time we went we had eaten our whole meal and we're done by the time they actually brought my husband's meal to him so we had to pack it up to go. And they really could have cared less. Today we get there sit down and I order a coffee. She comes back to the table and tells me they've ran out of coffee. When I asked her...How could you run out of coffee? she proceeds to fumble saying, "Well, it's not that we ran out really it's just that we will be closing soon and don't want to brew another pot of coffee". Seriously! Have you ever heard of a restaurant, a breakfast restaurant, telling you they won't brew another pot of coffee. I told her I have never in my life been to a restaurant that will refuse to brew a pot of coffee closing soon or not. And you know what once again they could really have cared less. NEVER! read more

Breakfast is my favorite dine out meal and Biscuits does it right. I highly recommend the carnitas hash and Champion pancake.

I'm spite of being only half full, service was slow from the time we walked in until the time we left in every way from being sat to ordering drinks to ordering breakfast then getting our food and getting the check. No one checked on us, asked how our meal was or refilled our coffee even once. Food was sub par and not as good as the other biscuits in Ahwatukee. Servers were nice but seemed disorganized and like they were SO busy but again the restaurant was half full so IDK. Hate to say it but I won't be back. I don't get out much these days so to drop $50 on breakfast that's isn't yum or wow pains me enough to leave a negative review. (Had anyone asked me how our breakfast was as we were paying the bill, I would have shared this feedback but since no one did, here ya go.) read more
