If I didn't need breakfast food so close to my house sometimes I would never be here. But they're just passable enough to go occasionally. Their food is really really basic and plain, eggs are rubbery so I won't eat them. I've had real nice waitresses and some rude girls. It's such a hit or miss. read more

Not a bad spot for a 'recovery' breakfast. The corned beef hash with eggs over easy was good. One of my friends had a brisket benedict that wasn't so great. The brisket was dry and looked tough. The service was very good. Our server was cheerful and looked like she was having a good time. If you need a hangover breakfast in West Linn you'll be well served here. My husband and i have been to this location several times. The food is always fresh and delicious. Love the coffee there and the biscuits with strawberry jam. We usually go for breakfast and the chicken fried steak and eggs is our favorite. We have taken out of town guests for breakfast and they loved the food (especially the biscuits and jam). I love this place, however I am vegan. They advertise "very nicely" the Impossible Burger- which is a meatless, dairy-less, plant based protein burger so why the first time I ordered it, did it come with cheese & on a return visit the second time, it was a REAL hamburger that I actually took a BITE OF!?? I was so completely taken aback that I am still reeling from it! More staff training is advised. And for the sake of people's personal choices, if you advertise this burger - at least get it right! We went here for a mid morning breakfast, the place was dead and we had to stand around and wait to be sat.....once we got sat, we decided on some chicken fried steak and a Benedict dish, we were able to see the food come out in the window, and it took the server ten minutes to deliver the food?!! Not sure if the cooks know how to prepare a poached egg for the Benedict dish, but the eggs were hard boiled, not good for Benedicts!! The steak was good, but had little gravy!! I would hate to see this place get busy, not sure if they could keep up?? They couldn't keep up with three tables!! read more

Very happy to give these guys a good rating. Excellent food, great service, very clean. The menu is fairly standard American diner fare, but they don't skimp on the good stuff. Servers were very attentive and friendly, and had no problem making slight adjustments in our orders to make us happy. Coming here for breakfast every couple of weeks is a pleasure. read more

We've been to a few of the Biscuits Cafe in the area, and this one is one of the BETTER ones! We usually do take out, and always get pancakes. The ones here were a little "brittle" and fell apart, but the kids loved them. (and afterall, that's all that matters). My country benedict was nicely sauced (vs. some of the other places would skimp on the gravy). The takeout packaging was also superior here... at least one of the other places would put the butter in with the hot food! (duh, then it'd be liquid when you got it home with a buttery mess inside). We finally tried our neighborhood version of this expanding chain called Biscuits; underwhelmed. Breakfasts are overpriced (average price is about $13) and food was just so-so. Well, given there's not much to choose from for breakfast joints in the West Linn area, this place is pretty decent! We go here every so often and share one of the omlet meals that comes with 2 biscuits, and a choice of another side. It's HUGE! We typically spend about $12-14.00 (including tip) for the both of us, and leave with very full tummy's, and leftovers. The staff is very nice, but yes, they do need a little help with multi-tasking during there busy hours. The food is good, bacon is thick (real bacon), not the thin stuff you get a big franchise breakfast resturants. The biscuits are good, but the locally made strawberry jam is to die for. Make sure you request it when you order or recieve any of there bread products. Service is FAST, Cook's are FAST. Overall a great addition to tiny West Linn. read more

We have had quite a few bad experiences at this location. The food is inconsistent, the staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. Today we arrived and were seated fairly quickly, but then we waited and waited for about 15 min. The wait staff and kitchen staff were all seated at the bar on break. We were not offered drinks of any kind, they dropped off menus and that was it. So after 15 min of being ignored we walked out, they didn't even acknowledge that. read more

Walked in and waited at the door, as the sign directed. There was a group of young guys paying, so that tied up a server for a while. Since no one ws going to seat me, I grabbed a menu and noticed this was more spendy that I thought, but for $10 bucks I should be able to get a meal. But then I noticed coffee was almost $3.00. We were here last weekend trying to get a good meal between our grandson's baseball games in the area. We were asked 3 times if we'd like something to drink before we finally got our beverages 15 minutes later. When the waitress finally appeared our order was taken and our food delivered in a timely manner. However, it took several minutes before we finally received our bill after sitting there with our meal completed. Biscuits is my favorite breakfast spot, the omelets are wonderful. The regular and sweet potato pancakes are perfect. Service can be a bit slow, but the attitudes are always pleasant. The quality of the food is great. I've eaten here many times and never gone away hungry. read more

We have been a fan of BC for years and have taken a number of others to BC at various locations. Breakfast today at BC West Linn was well below par for them. Ordered eggs, biscuits, red potatoes and link sausages. Eggs ok, potatoes greasy and not freshly cooked, biscuits had been in a steamer or ?? I have had this same meal multiple times and enjoyed it until now. The coffee was good and the service was good but I won't be back. read more

THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!! The last couple of visits the service has been awful. I'm not hard to please and I am usually very patient, but today was the last day at this particular Biscuits. I was seated, table for one, but apparently it was an invisible table for one. I waited...and waited..and waited... I noticed saw at least 5 tables seated after me already had their water and coffee and most of them had already had their orders taken. So I waited, and waited...still NO ONE even looked my direction. NO water, no coffee...not even a "We will be with you shortly". I couldn't even make eye contact with the staff. No one would make eye contact and acknowledge I was even there...like I said...invisible table for one. After approx 15 minutes I got up and went to the counter to talk to the manager, and even then the wait staff would walk past and not look at me. I think that no eye contact means that they can pretend the customers don't exist. Finally one of the waitresses stopped to attend to me, and I asked for the manager. The manager was another waitress, one who had also been ignoring me, and I told them about my experience and that I was leaving. The manager told me it was her section and that she could "get me going" right away now and she rambled on about how they didn't expect to be this busy since they weren't this busy last 4th of July. I let her know that I was disappointed in the service and that I was leaving, and this wasn't my first bad experience there at this location. It wasn't the lack of staff or how busy they were, they just ignored me. The other people had their orders taken, so it wasn't like they couldn't attend to the new patrons, they either forgot me or they just didn't care since I was just "one". I will be sending this to Biscuits online and let them know how terrible this location is doing. read more

The food here is wonderful; my favorite is the Avocado Benedict. The coffee is great and the servers are exceptionally friendly. I do recommend is that you arrive no later than 1:00 PM. The website and the sign on the door both give closing time as 2:30, but by 2:00 they were rolling up the blinds and vacuuming. It was very unpleasant. The sun was in my eyes and it was noisy. My husband and I both felt like we had to rush through the rest of our meal, even though it was only 2:15 and we had arrived by 1:50. I will come again, but will be sure to arrive earlier in the day. If it hadn't been for the feeling of being rushed, I would have given four stars. read more

We ate lunch at West Linn on March 24 and it was the worse meal. What happend? I am wondering if managment changed. I had a turkey dip and is was so greasy and the dipping broth had so much oil I couldn't even use it. My daughter mentioned the one in Wilsonville she used to go all the time to also not very good anymore or fresh tasting. read more
