I just made a mobile order for a simple veggie sandwich, and as I bit into it I could not help but realize that my sandwich was FULL OF ICE!! I ordered 3 sandwiches this evening and 2 of them were wrong. I called to ask if they could be remade and the shift lead had to argue with me. I ordered a #66 and #65 and he said I had ordered #56 and #55. I said no, that is not what I ordered. After some back and forth he said fine, I'll remake it but this phone call is wasting my time. What??? You don't EVER tell a customer that you're wasting their time. That behavior is inexcusable and I will NEVER go back to this location. I've worked in customer service for 17 years and never have I said that to a customer. I wasn't being mean, I didn't yell, I just wanted my sandwiches remade. The guy takes my order, writes it down, and proceeds to cut meats and make my sandwich and not add the extra meats to the sandwich. This man listened to my order, wrote it down on paper and then didn't follow it at all. This is the second time the same man has done this. I have really mixed feelings about Jersey Mike's.   The Good: They *really* stepped up huge during the pandemic and transformed their company, mainly by nailing the logistics.  Easy to order from their app, extremely reliable delivery, and an absolute, hit-the-ball-outta-the-park experience for take out.  You order on the app, you can customize each sandwich on their app and it's easy to do, drive up, your sandwich (and whatever else you ordered) is 100% of the time sitting there in a bag with your name on it.  Grab and go.  Contactless, safe, easy fast.  They even sometimes toss you a "thanks for coming, have a nice day" as you hurry out of the restaurant with your sandwich.  Absolutely perfect!  Even to the point where they offer bottled drinks.  So many other restaurants could learn from this, even the really big companies do it so much worse. The bad: I still don't love their sandwiches.  I guess it's a style thing.  I'm not really a "cheesesteak" guy, they have limited customization options for those (I'd love to add some veggies - sacrilege to a hardcore cheesesteak guy, I know!), and their cold sandwiches are "meh".  They want to soak all their cold sandwiches in oil and vinegar and garnish with oregano by default and even though you can customize that away (thankfully!) I still prefer the more "West Coast" style of sandwiches like Togo's/Firehouse/Big Town Hero.  All of those places make better sandwiches imo, but their logistics suck. So I've been eating tons of Jersey Mike's sandwiches over the pandemic, and thanking my lucky stars that they are around, but to be honest, that will probably change once things "go back to normal".  There is also a real question about what Jersey Mike's will exist after the pandemic. The old dine-in centric Jersey Mike's where order a sandwich was a huge chore and getting them to do even the smallest amount of customization was darn near impossible? Or will they keep the new takeout centric model? But either way, they still get my nomination in to the "Covid Rockstars Hall Of Fame". I always enjoy jersey mikes! The prices are a tad high but always worth it for the delicious sandwich. I do wish their rewards program was more "rewardy". Love their sub and usually order the mini-roast beef. Bread and all ingredients are fresh and delicious. I order all my sandwiches Mike's way. They put toms, lettuce, onion, salt and pepper, some kind of juice which I believe has vinegar in it. Very quick service. I also received a $1 off coupon by signing up for an account. This allows me to order in line as well. I can get $1 off any sandwich for the next two weeks. I will order again. read more

I wanted to fall to pieces for Jersey Mike's subs. The reviews were awesome, but I just didn't taste anything really special about them. They are a huge step up from Subway and good, don't get me wrong, but they did not shine for me. The bread was nice and chewy, the meats were fresh and tasty, and the service was great. They use a average amount of meat, but you can order extra. They also have the usual fixings, but nothing outrageous. They keep their veggies nice and fresh. The prices are pretty high. I am not sure if it is just this location or not. I would put Jersey Mike's on par with Jimmy John's. Maybe a few extra points for having their own name brand meat that tastes pretty good. This location is next to Fred Meyer, and the parking lot traffic is a pain, but that's Tualatin for you. read more

You shouldn't work in the service industry if you don't wanna deal with customers and the occasional problem! I ordered a sandwich today that Uber was supposed to pick it up. After the sandwich had sat ready for over 45 minutes and no Uber driver was even assigned to pick up my order, I called the store to cancel my order so I could just come pick it up. It was obvious that there was a problem with Uber and Uber CS dont understand english. The Jersey Mike employee says to me and I quote, "Sorry not our problem" and literally left it at that. Are you kidding me right now? That's how you talk to customers at this store? Even IF there was nothing they could do...THAT'S NOT HOW YOU TALK TO PEOPLE. I'll never come to this location again. The best chain subs! They even knocked out my beloved Togo's, and that's a BIG deal for a Bay Area girl! Get it "Mike's Way", with all the veg and splashes of oil and vinegar, and a shake of oregano. The Italian is my favorite, but the cheese steaks are delicious too. And HELLO! TASTYKAKES!!!! I had no problem using the coupons. Bought two giant subs and got a 3rd for $1.99. I don't work in Tualatin often but when I do... I love that I get the option of getting lunch from Jersey Mike's! I've never had a bad sandwich at this location and the staff are always friendly. Yesterday (9/11/17) I came in for my fav Chipotle Cheese Steak (no bell peppers sub jalapeño plus tomato). It was so good I came and got another one today. Sara, Logan & Tate were hard at work providing friendly service and great sandwiches to everyone! The food in the deli case looked fresh & delicious! My sandwich was completely on point! AGAIN! The only reason I bumped it down from 5 stars because I've been coming here for the past three years and have noticed that rarely is it ever what I consider clean. The First Lady at the counter was super nice and was going to do it for me until the manager stepped in, overriding her and stated I must pay for something. I said you aren't out any money but I will be if I purchase something I don't need nor want. He continued to be disrespectful & talk down to me saying there's a bank across the road (WHICH WAS CLOSED BY THIS TIME ON A Saturday)! He still took a percentage of my money and I left with nothing. Came in today with my family a little after 11am the sign on the door said they opened at 10am but the open sign was off and the place was empty I opened the door and asked if they were open and let them know the open sign was off, anyway out of the 12 tables they had to sit at all but one was dirty the floor was absolutely disgusting and the one high chair they had looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned, I assume we were their first customer of the day since the open sign was off , anyway we still ended up eating here and honestly the food was great I just hope and pray the kitchen is cleaner than the rest of the place. I would advise the owner/management to talk to their employees and get them on a better cleaning schedule. Update: went to the restroom before leaving only to find it destroyed with human waste all over the back of the toilet seat , it was enough to make me gag! I am not sure if the guy applying the oil and vinegar was in training but he put WAY to much on and the bread on the bottom was completely wet and soggy and had to throw it out. Tried this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. These subs remind of the places I used to go as a kid in Miami. The only thing in the Portland area that was anywhere near to these was Blimpie, and I think all their stores are gone from this area. Ordered the #13 Mike's way the first time I went, and liked it so much that I just keep getting the same thing and wondering what the others are like. :) These subs are fresh, the meat and cheese are sliced to order, messy (which is a good thing) and a good value proposition. read more

The sandwiches here are good. They are certainly better than most fast-food subs. The problem I have is that the dining room is consistently messy. I've had lunch here several times. I've had dinner here several times now too. This isn't a one-time oversight. Every time, the tables have been dirty, the floor has been strewn with trash and food, and the soda fountain has been awash with spills. I have always dined in, so I have, on each visit, spent twenty to thirty minutes there, and I have not, in all of my time in this restaurant, in five or six visits, seen an employee sweep the floor or clean the tables. The employees stay behind the counter even when the dining room is an obvious mess. They have no concept of "working the front-of-house." So, if you'll carry-out, it's a good sandwich... messy, but a clear cut above other fast-food sub sandwiches. But, if you want to dine in, bring your own broom. read more

Welcome Jersey Mike's Subs to Oregon and the opening of the newest store in Tualatin! I attended the opening on Tuesday and was pleased not only with a great sandwich (the turkey club was delicious) but good service and an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm. The owners circulated, asking customers about their experience and how to improve their next visit. The young staff was eager to please and learn. You get your "bang for your buck" at Jersey Mike's! My regular size sandwich had a lot more meat on it than the large size at competing restaurants. The sandwich was large enough that I ate half and saved the other for lunch the next day. It was still excellent! Jersey Mike's not only supports national charities, but also local ones. The Tualatin Library is benefitting from the Tualatin opening. You can't beat getting a great sandwich and supporting a good cause at the same time! Happy to be a continuing customer and keep them in the community. read more
