Ordered uber eats for lunch delivery to my office. I went with their BOGO deal. The sandwiches are tasty but not super filling for how much they cost now and the size is pretty small. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty. My sandwich was made exactly how I ordered it. I love that I can order cut up pickles on my sandwich. Online ordering was super easy and delivered timely. read more

Firehouse Subs - Hook & Ladder.® - Sandwiches Near Me - Beaverton, Oregon

I love Firehouse. The ingredients are always high quality and the food is consistently fresh. It's my go-to sandwich spot. My only complaint is that the sauce can make the sandwich a bit soggy if you're ordering it to go. Once I started asking for the sauce on the side, the problem completely disappeared. Honestly, I think they should make that the default for all takeout orders and note it clearly on DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc. read more

Came to firehouse today with my mom for a nostalgic moment, we stopped by a few times years ago and decided to revisit after remembering the hook and ladder. We discovered they introduced fries and their version of philly cheese steaks, tried both and theyre amazing great customer service from the crew always a great stop in will have to come here more often in my current life. Bit expensive though worth it. read more

Great food, service and awesome program funding first responders in Oregon. The subs are a good size and quality veggies for the price.

They're definitely feeling the cost of meat. Got a new york steamer which is my favorite from them. What was once filled with moist, fall-apart meat is now filled with stringy, gristly, hard-to swallow dryness. At first i thought it was just the bacon which- even then - is a problem. I can't fully blame them for using cheaper meat if that's the case, but it unfortunately makes it just... not worth the price of admission. Especially for delivery. read more

Firehouse Subs - Mushrooms - Sandwiches Near Me - Beaverton, Oregon

Unlike the sandwich shop, I just reviewed, firehouse subs are a cut above their competitors by miles, in my opinion. Their sandwiches are delicious, and you get to choose whatever condiments you want on them. They also have wonderful side, dishes, creamy, hot and healthy. The customer service is exceptional. They greet you when you come in. They take your orders quickly. You are allowed to make whatever changes that you want to whatever sandwich you want. You can order double meat if you'd like more protein. They steam the sandwiches, I believe, I'm not sure . All I know is that they are delicious and filling. Another thing that I love about this place, is wonderful little nuances. For example, each location has a hand-done painting that represents the special things about that particular location where the restaurant is located. So one could visit different firehouse, locations, and take photos of each individual painting, and find the various special things about that particular town. It's can be a fun thing to entertain the kids during long road trips. The company also allows you to round up your payment, if you choose to do so, they do not make an issue of it at all. But what's wonderful, is if you round up even by a few pennies, it all adds up and it goes to help fire stations around the country...... plus it's easier to remember what you paid so that you can enter it into your account book later/or account computer, because it's a nice round number. (Some of these pluses might not mean anything to the younger generation yet, but when you get older up into your 60s, it gets harder to remember things, and you tend to really appreciate services like the FIRE DEPARTMENT. Let's see, I'm not sure I've covered it all. So just in case: the food is delicious, it's a reasonable price, the place is always clean, they donate to the fire department and to the communities where each firehouse sub is located. They are kid-friendly, family-friendly. I don't own any stock in their company, I have no ulterior motive at all for giving every single firehouse that I've ever been to this same review. I have personally been to this particular firehouse subs location. I have been to many of them across Oregon, and in California, and in many places in the central USA. I can honestly say, that I wish they were more Restaurant, and other conscientious companies like Firehouse Subs. I'm hoping that more companies like them will be the wave of the future. read more

Update to my below post. Brandon from Firehouse Sub, took the time to hear my frustration and worked with Door dash. He was able get a refund, but even if he had not, the effort he put into customer service would have had me back on here saying thank you!! Actively listening goes a long way in building relationships. Great job Brandon I will definitely be ordering a sandwich again this week! Made the mistake of ordering pick up, instead of delivery by a delivery company. "This error I own!" My complaint is i called Firehouse Subs with 90 seconds of placing the order and they claimed to have already made the sandwich! I say BS. You made my sandwich in 1 minute and 30 seconds of receiving the online order at 12:07 pm? I believe they are contractually obliobligated by DoorDash to lie so DoorDash does not have to refund my money. I do not believe my sandwich order even made it to the prep station. This is very shady business and I will never order from this facility again. I do not recommend them. Picking up was not an option, car in the shop. So I was out $20 and no lunch. read more

Food tastes fine but I wish your online ordering described your subs. All I was craving was a fresh deli sub with crisp lettuce and tomato and thin sliced tuned breast. Something simple and refreshing. That's what I thought i ordered. I did not know I was going to get a warm sandwich with soggy lettuce and tomatoes and yummy, broken mayo. Completely ruined the experience. read more

The staff is always friendly and I really like their sandwiches. They are all available cold instead of hot if you want it that way. I also like the fact that they donate part of their profits to fireman funds. read more

If first responders were as slow as this, your house would burn down. 30 minutes to get a sandwich to go. Best bet is to order a delivery service, as they seem to take priority. read more

Really good sub, definitely expensive, though. Really clean place & I liked the clean/dirty signs on the tables. We got a chili to share & it was subpar. I'll try the Mac & cheese next time, I think. First time trying Firehouse Subs, but I think it's my new favorite sub shop. read more

October 2019 - Ok it's been a year and I've visited a handful more times and every time has been great. There's a new spicy brisket sandwich that's real good too. This is not your average fast food sub. It's way better. Definitely get the extra sauteed mushrooms if you are a mushroom fan. Yum!!! They also have a free medium sub for your birthday - just make sure to sign up for their rewards program and you'll get one. The coupon is good for 6 days or so after. Hooray! read more

Love this sandwich shop. The staff is always kind, attentive, and helpful. I've been to other Firehouse locations that look like a hurricane blew threw, not here. The place is always clean and welcoming. My favorite staff member is Aaron. He's awesome and always remembers my name and my unique order. Get this man a raise or a promotion!! read more

After a horrific experience at a FHS in another state I realized I've been taking this local location for granted. Short of sometimes putting a pickle with a sandwich when I don't want it, they've never screwed up an order. They're fast, efficient, and friendly. read more

Great team at this location, very happy and great customer service. Ordered extra pickle and I got 4 total..thank you. Firehouse seems to have the best employees from my experience compared to most other sandwich shops. read more

The name on my receipt is Jaxon so I hope that's the right guy. That guy deserves a raise he's a legend. Super fire service.

Service was good and everything except the meat was good. I ordered a roast beef sub. For some reason the roast beef tasted strange. Not bad, you know, but just strange. Can't quite put my finger on it. Otherwise it was pretty good. Hubby had no complaints about his sub. He seemed to like it. read more

Average and expensive for what you get. $6 for a half of a medium sandwich isn't worth the price. Plus add needing to order delivery fees due to the current situations... so really it was $8 for a less than half sandwich. It wasn't worth it. I'll give it 4 stars though cuz it was good just not worth the price. read more

Firehouse Subs - $6 for a half an average sandwich?! Crazy! Not worth it - Sandwiches Near Me - Beaverton, Oregon

Firehouse and Quiznos are plain and simple the best sub shops around that are chains, followed by Jersey Mikes. Of course, I have a couple sandwiches that I always get at each location, and when I went here it was good service, normal prices and a good location! Of course I would recommend this place! read more

This is a pretty good place for subs and to order for a good cause! They donate to support local fire fighters. You can customize the sub to your liking and make the sub into a combo if you want a soda and chips or cookie! I've tried a most of the sandwiches here and they were all pretty good. I used to like the 'Hook & Ladder' the most but now the one that stands out to me is the Spicy Cajun Chicken. I visited the Tualatin and Gresham locations multiple times. The taste and quality are always great. Be sure to ask for more sauce if you would like more, they are more than happy to give you extra! Try this chain if you have a craving for subs! read more

Went to this location, And really enjoyed the Italian Sandwich. However, They only give me two tiny napkins with the meal. So i asked one of the male workers if i could get more napkins, He hands me only one napkin, Kind of glaring at me, And asked me if this was enough napkins. I almost had to laugh!!!! I mean, If you're going to serve a nice sandwich and then be really skimpy with the napkins, like there's a major napkin shortage , then you may as well close the whole business down! Would have been a five star review , but based on the servers attitude about getting more napkins , that ruined my whole experience there! read more

Nice staff, but a mediocre sub that is kind of expensive for the amount of meat and filling you get. And who puts mayo on a sub? Eww. Jersey Mike's is far superior. read more

Not a huge ordeal but definitely frustrating and disappointing. I went into this location to buy chocolate chip cookies. They had the prices posted right by the register...2 for $1.99. But I was charged $2.38. Why, I ask? The employee said that's how much it costs. But the ADVERTISED price says different. It's called false advertisement and it's illegal but they wouldn't honor the posted price. Firehouse Subs- maybe work on giving your staff better customer service skills. Or learn to change your posted prices to reflect what you charge! read more

Always fire sandwiches and fire service. I always get the Italian and it never disappoints. Skip the line and order online. It's easy and fast plus it makes it easier to add things to the sandwiches that aren't the basics that come with it. read more

Wow! Fantastic service with a smile and the subs are crazy good! Grabbed me a medium Steamer sub and it was consistently perfect with the other Firehouses I have been to. Meat is super tender, nice and hot. The bread has a fantastic chew and is perfect. I usually don't get too excited on chain places, but Firehouse is the best place to grab that perfect sub that I know of. A true gem in the community of chain restaurants. I strongly recommend a visit and see for yourself. Thanks! read more

They just opened their doors on Monday, so extra attentive & caring service is in full-swing - I hope that continues! Pleasant firehouse themed red brick decor, a loud, sometimes in unison "Welcome to Firehouse!" From the crew with every entrant, quick & friendly smiley service. I walked in and a lady ushered me to the counter where a lady broke down the menu - every sandwich comes with meat. I'm not personally abhorrent of meat, but a couple vegan/vegetarian staples on their 10 sandwich menu would be business savvy for them, and for us, given that Portlanders notoriously swing both ways...You're able to customize your sandwich into a saladwich if you'd like, though. Lack of delicious veggie special #'s knocked a 1/2 star off... also note: their sandwiches are ALL toasted. If you're a freak who enjoys cold subs with unmelted cheese, you'll have to ask them if they'll accommodate your prissy preferences - I certainly didn't ask them. On to the sandwich... Delicious. Scrumptious flavor (chicken, cherry bomb peppers, lettuce, provolone, tomatoes, pickles) and toasted warm texture - everything tasted fresh, fresh enough to out-freshen Subway. However, the chicken was diced to dice sized bites, and a few cascaded out of my sub when I removed the staple toothpick to dive in. Use slices, Fire Friends. Even the cohesive cheesy goodness can't hold together the 1/4 lb of meat on a medium sub. P.s. Their Sauce Bar selection is outrageously numbered: approx 25 varieties. There is something for everyone, unless you're a prissy cold-sandwich lover. read more

I ordered their Italian sub and it was pretty great. The honey ham is a little too sweet, however. Pepperoncini was not spicy, so load up. Their subs are deliciously messy. I purposefully ordered something that I thought I could eat tidy in the road. So, like, no meatballs. Nevertheless, I should've put some napkins on myself like a bib. Not recommended for eating in the car...trust me on this one. They will ask if you want to round up your bill for charity. I really hate when retail stores hit me up for this. Super awkward. read more

First time going to a firehouse subs and I was more than impressed! Most chain places do not have a good meatball sub, and firehouses was great! But what made the experience amazing was the lovely cashier Jolie! She was so sweet and answered a bunch of questions for us. Definitely coming back :) read more

My Complaint is about the Customer Service from a manager on June 1st 2018. My husband and I ordered food to be delivered by Grubhub on 06/01/2018 The Grubhub Driver is a regular driver, and we've never have had issues with her. When contacting the Store, the manager is convinced she put all the items inside the bag, and refused to give me the Refund for the items missing. She could have forgotten to add them. But nobody took responsibility of the 2 items missing. I didn't get a Refund for the items missing, so as of today, I am an unhappy Customer of Firehouse Subs on Hall Blvd. by Washington Square mall. I am an amputee, and my husband is a disabled veteran. Driving is an annoyance, so we often order delivery. The order was: 1 large meatballs sandwich with extra meat. 2 broccoli soups at $3.99 each 3 chilis 1 large steak and cheese sandwich with bacon and mushrooms no grilled peppers 1 small steak and cheese sandwich With 20% delivery tip, came about to be $62 & change. They didnt include the 2 broccoli soups, $3.99 each I made a video and uploaded it to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google and my personal blog. I am livid. I am a regular Customer. How dare they keep my money???!!!! I feel robbed! Did I enjoyed the food? No. Why? Because I felt ripped off. It's less than $10 but the lack of customer care makes me think this business is not to be trusted. How many people do they swindle? How many customers out there have been cheated and tricked to believe that they provided the product, but it disapeared before it arrived to the bag. They make you think: it's not their fault, is yours for trusting them. I am unhappy and unsatisfied. I also contacted Grubhub Customer Service, who verified with the Driver, and the Store manager. I trust the Delivery Driver. I dont trust the manager. Managers in a restaurant are busy. It's easy to forget even in their best of their abilities. A manager is a Human being that can make errors. A Human from a Homosapien specie, able to make mistakes. When they have a Robot as a manager, I will then maybe believe there was an error some place else or a hard wire malfunction. I want my money back!! read more

Again! We ordered online and they screwed it up again! One sandwich was fine, the other was supposed to be a Firehouse Hero, add bacon, olive, banana peppers, oil vinegar salt and pepper. We received a ham and turkey with no cheese or tomato. Very plain. Don't buy online!!! They almost always screwed up online orders. read more

We love the Italian with pickles and peppers. Prices aren't cheap but they pack in the meat and don't allow tips- only donations for firefighters. Only criticism- I do wish the ham was less sweet. So easy to order online/app and pick up is easy at the front of the store or curbside. Our order is always correct and the staff very friendly and responsive. This is one of our favorite sub shops. read more

I LOVE a good sandwich and apparently I've found some places that other reviewers have not because how this place has four stars is absolutely beyond me! I ordered the Italian and it was nearly inedible. The ingredients were cheap (read in italics for emphasis) and I'd imagine the shelf life would be damn near 6 months on the bread. Remember the lunch meat they used to sell in bags...3 for $1.00...that was see through thin? Yeah...a sandwich made with that meat would be better! read more

5 stars. For their subs. They are good. Don't even try for subway, Jimmy Johns, or any of them fakes. This place has THE best sandwiches. Yum Turkey Bacon Ranch. Yes. read more

I don't usually write reviews but Jasmine made my experience pleasant, and the food was good as always

I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich. When I got home and I went to eat the sandwich, I was very disappointed. The bread was all soggy and there was hardly any meat on it. It was 80% onions.. They were strong onions too. Needless to say, I picked off the little bit of meat and threw the rest away. I couldn't even eat the bread because it soaking wet from the onions. I would not eat here again. read more

I've been to many Firehouse locations and this one's my fave so far! Only been here once but the sandwich hit so good. Stopped in for a fast meal and I was pleasantly surprised! I was disappointed that they have only hot subs, BUT it was the best hot sub I've ever had! And believe me, I don't like them. The bread was perfectly toasted so it wasn't tough or hard. It was airy and fluffy. Reminded me of a French bread loaf right out of the oven only filled with yummy meats and cheese! The place was spotless and staff was friendly. They are also a company that donates to help save lives, relates to the name. I'm not big on doing reviews but I really loved this place and will be back for sure. Leaps above Subway and Jimmy Johns! Promise! Next time I'll order a bigger size only because it was so good I wanted more! read more
