Went there for breakfast today. The restaurant temp was about 60 degrees. The server said the ac is on a timer and they can't figure out how to shut it off. Other patrons were wearing sweatshirts and even went to their cars to retrieve blankets. Well that was just the beginning of the downhill spiral for this place. After waiting for an hour for our food they server came to explain the WiFi was down and our order was never sent to the kitchen. We were not the only unhappy guest. This is at least the 3rd time this place has had technical issues recently. Get a new system or lose all of your customers! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO BISCUITS CAFE! Who is on first? From the minute we walked in the door, total chaos. No direction anywhere. Plenty of people working there but rather that seating, checking patrons in or out they were busy filling sugar, ketchup etc! After about 10 minutes, plenty of staff and many open tables, we were seated. 15 minutes later no one had come to offer us anything. Baffling. Lots of staff all busy filling things on tables where there were no patrons. I got up to inquire if anyone was aware we were sitting here and was rudely told that no in fact she was not aware. I told her what had happened from the moment we'd walked in and she was more than happy for us to just leave! We got out to the parking lot and a couple asked how our meal was, we said we'd not gotten that far. He said lucky you. It took an hour for them to be served and they couldn't even get his oatmeal right. On top of that it was expensive I've had soups and salads from an alternate location that were excellent. The menu is awesome too, but this location on Thunderbird should be avoided at all cost. This place is a pretty good little breakfast joint. However, the quality control is a little inconsistent. I suggest going closer to when they open than when they close. The first time we went it was fantastic, literally amazing. The second time, not so much. They are super good about making up for any issues you face but it's unfortunate it happens in the first place. It's too expensive to have questionable service and food quality in my opinion. The Florentine Benedict was absolutely delicious! The eggs and hollandaise sauce was cooked perfectly! I was also able to taste the biscuits and gravy and it was delicious!! For Covid lots of spaced seating and all employees has masks. We are definitely coming back! read more

Usually not one to leave a bad review but the service here was terrible. Wife asked for a latte and we got hot coffee on ice but still charged for the latte. The server never came around to give us any refills or to even notice that my wife hadn't touched the wrong beverage she brought. We asked for ketchup and server literally walked past our table and threw a few packets in our direction. Our server probably would of noticed how upset we were if she wasn't sitting in the booth behind us talking to her friends. The entire experience felt like an overpriced gas station restaurant. This spot is fantastic. The service is fast and friendly. Coming from Texas, I found Biscuits. I was looking for good breakfast with hash browns, eggs and sausage. This is the place. Large portions and great flavor. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful. Over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. I ordered the link sausage. Not small skinny link but 3 large, juicy links. If that's not enough. They served homemade strawberry jam! I'm going back for biscuits and gravy. read more

I went for a birthday breakfast with my mom on Feb 26 and the waitress only every ever came by our table when she took our order and when she dropped off the check, I would brush this off but I noticed she checked on her other tables many times. Also what I feel is a MAJOR issue because of COVID or actually in general is when I asked her for ketchup she literally turned around and gave us the condiment caddy from the DIRTY table next to us! On July 14, 2021, I sent an e-mail to biscuitscafe@rewardblaster.com regarding an experience with their version of a California Club sandwich. I never received an answer or explanation and this was my belated Birthday meal to myself. The sandwich was listed on the menu as being served on a Ciabatta bun with sliced Turkey, sliced Tomatoes, sliced Avocado, sliced Swiss cheese, Bacon slices, Lettuce and Mayo. The menu states served on Warm Ciabatta bread! Ciabatta is a Rustic Italian Crusty Bread, mine arrived as a SOGGY bun, which had been "steamed" to melt the cheese. A "crusty bread" is usually toasted on a flat top or in the oven, with or without a slice of Cheese on top to melt the cheese. The bacon should also have been cooked on the flat top and added to the hot "toasted" crusty Ciabatta. The turkey wasn't from a fresh cooked one and wasn't what I was expecting. I proceeded to pick up and eat one of the sandwiches, which not having a "toasted" Ciabatta bun for support, the entire sandwich slid down and plopped onto my plate as well as my hands. Any Italian Restaurant would have been embarrassed by how this sandwich was served and an inexcusable foo paw. I didn't say anything, just wanted to get out of there before a scene was made. I didn't know who to hold accountable and knew better to insult a chef, as I've been in the food industry since I was sixteen and have personally seen chefs and their reactions to comments. I was under the impression, someone would RESPOND, but I guess I was wrong or maybe my expectations were to high. read more

We ate at the Biscuits in Surprise last weekend and the food and service was fantastic! We were in Peoria so we tried this location. The service was terrible. Ordered a cinnamon roll to start, never received. Waited a while for food but understand the dynamics of where we are today with being short staffed. Received our meal, I had the almond French toast, it was delicious. Loaded hash browns were alright. In the meantime waited at least 10 minutes for a coffee refill. Server finally came around asked how the food was I asked for more coffee and advised we did not receive our cinnamon roll she apologized and said she would take off bill. That's nice I do not have to pay for food I did not receive. Waited at least fifteen minutes for check server asked if I was ready for check, I said I have been ready I had even asked for the check from someone else but given the wrong one. I have been here twice. Both times i did curbside pick up. First time food was okay other than the eggs, which were incorrect (they gave me scrambled when i ordered over easy). By the time i got it home, i didnt want to drive back just for some eggs. Definitely recommend checking your food before driving off. Overall, i just appreciated a warm meal on new years day. Second time (today) was a bit of a mess. Eggs were wrong again (over easy instead of over hard). They also really need to work on their curbside efficiency. Order was supposed to be ready at 9:55 AM. I didn't leave the lot until 10:15. I don't mind waiting. I figured they needed a little longer since they were busy. The issue is that the food was sitting there the whole time. Food was cold, and the potatoes were soggy from steaming in the to go container. 3 stars because if they fix their egg issues and curbside issues, it could be a decent place. Even in the face of a huge crowd, everyone was friendly and helpful, despite some impatience on from my fellow customers. It was my first visit to the establishment and I'll definitely be back. Pancakes were good until we found multiple hairs in our pancakes (2 different orders), and our sausage came out raw (3 different meals). The server was especially caring and apologetic and I appreciate her to the moon and back. The manager on this Sunday 8/22 about 2 pm should not be in a management position. He refused to work with us, and to make a long story short even told us we shouldn't eat there (which I found very offensive), but trust me we'll never be back. Was visiting the area and stopped in for lunch. It was busy, so me and my coworkers sat at the bar. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was huge huge and tasty, but the fries had seen better days. They were soggy and cold. A pet peeve of mine when dining out is a dirty menu and not only was my menu dirty, but the mini kiosk advertising a reward program was filthy with grime. I wished I had not touched it. My silverware was wrapped in a napkin and when I rolled it was stained with water spots. Also a pet peeve of mine. Who wants to eat from spotty utensils? Oddly, I keep overhearing staff members grumbling about various things as they passed by. I got the impression it might not be the best place to work.
