We both loved the food! Since it was a Sunday, I knew it'd be busy. I figured it'd be a good idea to check whether Hash Kitchen offers a way to join the waitlist online. Luckily, they do! I joined ahead of time and we arrived about 30 minutes later. While there were tons of people waiting for a table outside, our table was ready within minutes of us checking in. We were promptly seated and our waitress did not take long to take our order. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be after ordering, but it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. We ordered the Boujee Biscuits to share. Those were delicious! It comes with three kinds of butter, but my favorite was the salted caramel one. We also each ordered the Best F#*%ing Birria Hash and shared a stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was so good, but I especially loved the Birria Hash. Once we finished eating, I was able to pay by scanning a QR code on our table, which was really convenient. I can truly say we had a great experience.

Downstairs host was nice, asked if we wanted to eat upstairs or down. We decided upstairs. They just told us to head up and talk with the host. We went up. Someone from the bar did shout hi! There was no host seen. There was a handful of workers chatting at the bar even the downstairs host came up and walked by us to join the group chatting. Upstairs had 2 tables of 6-10 people, a handful of small parties outside. We stood there for 4-5 minutes before someone in a St. Patrick's day outfit running food said someone would be with us shortly. Waited another few minutes before the host emerged from the bathroom and sat us. Both my husband and I waited tables and I bartended before (10 years experience). We have a lot of patience and understanding. We were sat and not immediately greeted but a woman came up and quickly dropped water off. Her body language was dismissive and only said just "dropping off water". I really thought it might have been another host or busser, that was tired of getting mistaken for a sever. I brushed it off. We waited so much longer before our server (happened to be the same girl that dropped off the water) came back to take our drink order. She was cold and didn't make eye contact. She was very short with us. Left to put the drink order in. She did bring the kids their soft drinks, but again with an attitude. It was as if we were ruining her day by coming in. 10 min went by. In that time, we saw her walk by and again avoid eye contact. Not even a "your bar drinks are being made", or "I am just going to run these dishes back and come back to take your order. " A really nice bartender came back and started talking with us about baseball because we were coming from a spring training game. After waiting longer and still no sign our server was going to come back in a timely manner, I told my husband, that I would rather leave now and not let this server ruin our experience. There are plenty of places around that I would rather give my money too and they will treat us better. We left, on our way out we did let a manager know. They did apologized and asked where we were sitting. Two stars for the nice female bartender that was decked out in St. Patrick's day attire upstairs. It is family owned, and the servers are knowledgeable about the menu and very fun. I tried the Hawaiian Portuguese sausage and eggs, I love the flavor of the sausage, and I really like their house made potatoes. They have really big omelettes and breakfast skillets. And as you can see, we shared the banana pancakes as a family. Definitely a nice place to go with family. Or on your own for a great breakfast or lunch.

My husband ordered a large and my sister and I ordered smalls. When we got our bill the large beer was the same price as the small beers. Why didn't Vanessa tell us the large beers were on happy hour and were the same price as the small beers! Duh? We all wanted Beyond Burgers (my husband had cancer and was put on a plant based diet). Vanessa said she didn't think the Beyond Burgers were available anymore. She goes to check and comes back and said they are still available, . We all ordered cheeseburgers with the Beyond patties. We had to modify it without cheese or mayo but we all wanted the caramelized onions. My sister wanted verification that the onions were cooked and Vanessa said that they were. When we got our food which took a long time to get; it was luke warm and no caramelized onions. Vanessa said the cheeseburger doesn't come with caramelized onions! What?! My husband went and got the menu and it clearly states the cheeseburger comes with carmelized onions. I needed a knife to put mustard on my burger but none of us got any sliverware, napkins or coasters for our beers which were sweaty. After waiting for 10 minutes to get silverware my husband got up and got silverware from the bar. Now my lukewarm burger is cold as well as my fries. We asked for the manager and he did bring us caramelized onions in a to-go cup. Plus we got to-go containers to take our food home and reheat it. My sister and I waited tables when we we were young and had a whole lot more common sense. We did tip Vanessa but not nearly as much as we normally do. TP clearly hires based on looks and not brains. Vanessa is one of the worse waitresses we have experienced in a long time.
