This review is specifically for mac and cheese. I got two sides of mac and cheese and they have no taste! the mac and cheese is so bland. I definitely like to taste cheddar or a sharper cheese in my mac and cheese. I have also eaten chicken sandwiches twice. I've ordered from here twice and both were excellent. The first order was a mild sando with fries, the second was medium. Medium was noticeable hotter - not unbearable but it was definitely hotter than the mild. Based on the movement up the scale, I can see the Hot being very spicy and the Code Breaker bordering on unpleasant. The mild might be the perfect chicken sandwich. There was a little heat that was just there rather than being intrusive. Both times, for me, the fries were too salty but that could just be my taste. Unsweetened iced tea and banana pudding were both excellent. Highly recommended, not inexpensive but on par for the area and the quality warrants the premium price. My lawd, we love hot chicken and you DEF need to try this place. Country tenders tested and proven to be delish with birdcode sauce (no spice) but if you really want the experience get the normal hot and a side of ranch to cool you off with the slow burn. Not sure what else to say, I was extremely impressed. I ordered the Sando combo, my kids got the kids meals and my wife got the chicken strips basket combo. The Sando was bar-none the best chicken sandwich that I ever had...period. Every aspect of the sandwich was great. The slaw was acidic and perfectly balanced against the medium chicken. I had one or the tenders, which I normally would not get. They were extremely juicy with a lot of flavor. The fries were crinkle cut, which normally means super mid. These were top tier fries. Their house sauce is like a chipotle mayo and was very good. The ranch was ridiculous. I am pretty sure it has fresh dill and it was over the top. The owner greeted us when we came in and checked in during our meal. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wish him the best and I think he is going to do very well. The wife and I went here for lunch on Saturday. This was my First experience with Nashville hot chicken. This was amazing. I had the chicken sandwich medium and Mac and cheese. The wife had the tenders no spice with French fries. Her food allergies kicked in. Not sure what it was we attempted to find out. The people out front were of no use to what was in the product. For a first visit wasn't a bad start, I'm really not sure why everyone is making a fuss other than it's new and open. The fries were cold, the sandwich a SINGLE strip of overly SUGARY (yes every bite was sugar, not spice and I ordered the mild) crispy chicken with TWO pickle slices on an oversized bun. For almost 40 dollars including tip and that didn't include drinks I just can't see it. Perhaps it was an off day...... but I wouldn't hurry back here. Wow. Already dreaming of when I can go back I got the naughty neighbor with medium level spice, 10/10. The chicken is cooked to perfection, the spice level was hot!! I upgraded my fries to shake fries, those were dynamite. The slaw and pickles were the perfect topping!! My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this spot after many recommendations and it did not disappoint! The chicken was juicy and spicy without any grease or sloppy sauce. This place just opened and I am a fan of hot chicken sandwiches, so my husband and I decided to try it out. We ordered online and it gave us a pick-up time for our food. When we arrived to pick up our food (a few minutes after it was supposed to be ready) and talked to the workers in the pickup area, not only had they not started our order, but it was several orders deep in their queue. They said it would be ready in 10-15 more minutes. After 15 minutes went by, I went to check on the order again and at least that time they were working on it. It was ready after about 5 more minutes and they threw in a cookie because of the wait. While I understand that it was a busy night, I don't understand why their online ordering doesn't account for that. If my order was going to take 45 minutes to make, fine, but I don't order online to stand around a restaurant waiting for 20 minutes. We both ordered chicken sandwiches, which were not bad, but I'm not sure if I'll want to go back. The chicken portion itself was very large, but I wished that it was crispier and more flavorful. My husband got "hot" and it just tasted like regular fried chicken. I will say, though, that the chocolate chip cookie really redeemed them! It was a good cookie! The flavors of the breading and spices mixed with the tenderness of the chicken and then dipping the tenders in the amazing comeback sauce.... mind blowingly good! Traveling through Hartford as we dropped off our son for school we found this place. Clean and bright dining room. Has a franchise burger joint vibe-but it's not. Order at the counter. Wait for your food. The sando is a chicken sandwich that come in 4 flavors, country, mild, medium, hot and codebreaker. We went with hot. It was, but not too hot. And the flavor was good.
