I tried them again recently, and the quality looks like it's slipping. The waffle was not fresh, felt like a prepackaged waffle warmed up. The chicken wasn't breaded to be crispy, and the corn fritters were actually pretty tasty. The chicken was cooked well, and the portions were very large, but the quality was lacking. Back to back days of eating here and again this was a flawless experience. This time I tried the chicken tenders tossed in the sauce. I have to say they do a great job with the service. It came out super fast and was very hot when we got home. The honey garlic sauce flavor is definitely my favorite now. The french fries were also crispy and tasty. Knowing I wasn't able to eat there due to time constraints I ordered tenders and waffle, wings and waffles, six piece nuggets and hash fries. This isn't a fast food place. The food is made fresh to order with care. The 20 minute wait was well worth it. Service was fantastic and friendly, and the place is spotless. The smell of the food as I was driving was almost unbearable. Even though I reheated in an air fryer the chicken was moist, tender and delicious. The service would be the best based off of how considerate they are, they provided utensils, which not to mention came with a fork, knife, salt and pepper packets and a napkin in one plastic casing. My husband and I would order here every couple weeks through Door Dash, after we ordered this week we got a call saying there was a problem with the order. They said they shouldn't be giving us "free sauce" because we had wrote in the message that we wanted a singular side of sauce. I told the manager we were happy to pay but there isn't a button on Door Dash, he proceeded to tell me that we should contact Door Dash to change their menu (something that the customer can't even do). My husband called him back moments later and he was extremely rude to him as well, saying he would go out of business by giving away .50 cent sauce (mind you the entire time we were willing to pay there was just no way to add it to the order). All I can say is that I've never felt more welcome than I did with Lena working the register. Apparently there are multiple Cheeks locations which are run by different owners. It was the most flavorful and unique. While we got all the tenders tossed - and while I normally appreciate a like saucing - the other two types of tenders did not have as much of an awesome kick. The the Thai chili was super mild despite being listed as hot. Lastly, I was pretty disappointed in the waffle. It tasted as if there was an ingredient missing from the batter, or something.
