This is not a place to donate, it's full on people that sell their blood for income. Went online to find a place to give blood, it's been a while and I would normally give to Vitalant but it's close to work not home. I made an appointment online at Grifols on Dobson not too far from me. I entered and there were about 20 people seated waiting. There was a counter that had a sign "New Patient sign in". I went to the counter and waited, no one in sight. After more than 10 mins I walked over to a room on the left where I'd hear someone calling names every few mins. I asked her if she was the only person working and she said unfortunately yes. She was nice and apologized but admitted that It would be more than an hour before I could donate. Deleted my online account and won't return. read more

This place sucks, they literally start their day behind. It use to move quick. Recently the quality of speed has tremendously gone down. They really just need more people or something....either way just go to another place this spot will have u sitting there for hours. read more

if you want your time wasted come here. these people are an absolute joke. the customer service is piss poor. its about two good workers in the building everybody else is either lazy or very rude sometimes both. they will stick you for blood and send you home with nothing just because they wanna rush or they don't feel like taking the d it's a joke. they don't acknowledge the promos or referrals. Nobody answers the phone to answer questions about donations they will walk right past it after it's been ringing Truthfully some of the laziest - rude people but walk around as if they are Gods it's shameful. read more

This location has gone downhill over the past month, mainly due to being severely short-staffed. Most of the experienced technicians seem to have left, and it shows in how slowly everything now runs. On my last donation, it took more than four hours for the payment to load onto the prepaid card, when it used to take just a few minutes. That kind of delay is unacceptable, especially for regular donors.Right now, they either need to hire and properly train new staff or have supervisors and managers step in and actually help on the floor. As I write this, I've been sitting in the lobby for over an hour with only one technician working the front. When I finally got to the back, there were six people ahead of me, and after about thirty minutes, there were still four people in front of me. The pace is painfully slow, and it doesn't feel like there is any urgency to improve the experience. This used to be my favorite plasma center, but the long waits, staffing issues, and overall decline in efficiency have made it not worth the hassle anymore. I'll be going back to other plasma centers like CSL or BioLife instead. Unless things change and a stronger team is hired, it's hard to recommend this location to anyone. read more

This location has declined significantly in cleanliness, professionalism, and overall reliability. There now appears to be more risk and less competence in the process, which is extremely concerning for a place that should prioritize safety and hygiene. The facility is visibly dirty, and it no longer feels like a clean or well-managed environment.Although many staff members seem friendly on the surface, there are serious issues with how donors are treated. On multiple occasions, I have seen donors spoken to harshly and with sarcasm at the front desk simply for asking basic questions. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and completely unacceptable in a setting that relies on trust and respect.Operationally, things are not running smoothly either. Liners have been out for days, machines frequently crash, and some draws are delayed eight minutes or more while staff try to get things working again. On the floor, conversations often revolve around breaks and leaving, rather than focusing on donors and procedures. This does not inspire confidence. What concerns me most is the lack of visible hygiene practices. Cuffs are not consistently wiped down between donors, and in some cases beds are not sanitized before a new donor is called back. Combined with dirty floors and an overall unkempt appearance, it raises serious questions about how safe and sanitary the process truly is.Overall, this has become a disappointing and unsettling experience. This facility needs immediate attention to cleanliness, staff training, and basic professionalism. Until meaningful improvements are made, it is hard to feel comfortable or confident continuing to donate here. read more

They cleaned up their business- they are no longer rude individuals, and they are not overworking their employees.

No sense of urgency at all from staff. They say it is quicker when you make an appt before you donate but every. Single. Time. I make an appointment and am here for over an hour before I even get hooked up to the machine, they only ever have one person screening people and they say they are short staffed but they are never hiring anyone. The managers sit in the office and never help. Csl is much better and professional, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION read more

I've been going here for 8 years and watch this place go thru employees mostly good leave. This past year has been the worst. I set appointments before hand I also show up 15 mins early just for me to wait over hour n half to be hooked to machine to donate. This is my first review ive ever given a company and it sucks to not post a good review for my first time posting. read more

If you value your time, avoid this place. The operation feels disorganized and dismissive, and the way customers are treated makes it very hard to trust the process. The customer service is consistently poor. Aside from a couple of employees who seem to care, most staff come across as uninterested, unprofessional, or openly rude. Simple questions are met with attitude, and there is little sense of urgency or respect for people's time. There are also serious concerns about how donations are handled. Staff rush through the process, and there are instances where donors are stuck, poked, and then sent home without completing the donation, which feels careless and inconsiderate. Promos and referral offers are not clearly acknowledged or honored, adding to the sense that customers are not valued.Communication is almost nonexistent. Phone calls go unanswered, even when the phone is ringing in plain sight, and it feels like no one wants to take responsibility or help. The overall attitude from many employees is apathetic at best and arrogant at worst, as if customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the place exists.Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. Until there is major improvement in professionalism, communication, and basic respect for donors, this is not a place that can be recommended. read more

came in as a new donor. staff asked the same questions multiple times , even though my answers had been documented. Even after reminding staff the information was visible on the sheet in front of them they proceeded to ask me the same questions over again. Process time to get to the floor to donate took over 2 hours and the lobby was practically empty. Finally got to the donor floor and began my donation process. The phlebotomist who stuck me did a poor job so another phlebotomist had to adjust the needle. My donation improved but began to fail and a 3rd phlebotomist had to adjust the needle and was still having trouble finding my vein. Even though I am marked as a green vein on both arms. New donors only get paid out 75$ for two donations. Donations after new donor payments are even worse compensation. Reception staff is poorly trained and should be retrained as well as the members of staff on the floor. When waiting to be issued my payment card I had to sit and wait 30 minutes after I completed my first visit. I do not recommend anyone to donate here . read more

horrible place to donate shitty workers rude and always have some kind of reason i haven't been able to donate waited 2hrs and anywhere else I go I have no problems they are just horrible I used to never have a problem with them on camelback and el mirage locations but this one theres allways something need all new employees sad to say but won't be going back read more

The front desk receptionist was very rude for no apparent reason. I simply asked to donate and she said, "it's going to be about 3 hours so you won't get to donate today." They called my name in about 20 minutes. Cheer up!!! It's not that hard to be nice. read more

They used to be really great but now the donations amount keeps dropping while it takes longer and longer to donate. Setting appointments every 15 minutes while I wait over an hour to even get sent back. They don't have enough employees even to accommodate the amount of customers they are trying to push through. I say this as I sit here yet again for over an hour to go back and even get started. They need to figure out how to hire more people or lessen the appointments. Not worth it at all anymore. Thankfully most the employees are great but I'm sure it sucks just as bad for them. read more

Still waiting on funds to reach my account. Biomat is having bank issues that result in your money being delayed into your account. They are not bringing it to your attention because certain individuals are still getting paid out from what I was told so it is not a major issue at this time. I just figured if one account is failing to receive funds they should all be failing. Biomat asks that you donate your time and body but have issues like delayed pay or excessive wait times with no compensation. The customer service was 5 stars but when it comes being on time with your appointment and pay out it seems that they are never consistent. read more

Got a false positive result for HEPC through this company, went to my dr now to get tested immediately because I know I didn't have it and tested negative for every disease known to mankind. 80% of staff is rude and overworked. the filter on the machines clogs all the time because it's cheap and faulty. if it clogs and you sit there it makes it worse and they have no sense of urgency to fix it. theyll say it's improper needle stick. they will finish your donation on the opposite arm. usually happens when you are already over halfway done. They try to readjust the needle multiple times and hardly know what they are doing. quick money but not safe. Never had these issues at any other plasma center read more

This is the worst donation location in the valley. They do NOT honor promotions sent out from their company for everyone they choose who gets the bonuses and who doesn't even if you have email confirmation showing the promotion. The "make an appointment" still takes 95 minutes after appointment to get in a bed. Then sit there for 25 minutes. This place needs new management "Berta is rude and dismissive" the staff is over worked and understaffed. Something needs to change this is my second donation and I will not be back EVER read more

The Phlebs are nice. I like most of them. The compensation is terrible. Expect to spend around two hours in there. And as it gets busier, expect to spend more time in there and get compensated less. After years of donating religiously, I won't be going back read more

I seriously give this place 5 stars. Their staff was extremely friendly and the office was so clean and comfortable. I went in at a good time, thankfully it wasn't packed and was told it could definitely get busy during certain times. I went in as a new donor at 420pm and was done by 740pm. If you mentally prepare yourself for a 4 hr wait then it is not bad at all. I was told it is just for the first time that it should be that long. I called before I went in a verified they had time for me. I suggest doing the same if going in after 4pm as a new donor. Obviously if you have a rude attitude, expect to be treated the same ( not that I seen any rude ppl at all here!) They were all so nice. I went in with a smile and respectful like my mama taught me and I think that helped a lot as well. Other than that, I would suggest taking a blanket and some headphones for while your donating, drink plenty of water and eat prior to going in. Thank you guys again for being awesome. read more

From my first experience in high school which was like 6 years ago I never wanted to donate again, but coming to this facility they get you in and out. I'm leaving a 5 star specifically for LINA she went above and beyond to make sure I came first as well as my health. I had a bad reaction and didn't drink enough water before coming in so I got very light headed and she just made me feel like she really cared for my health as if I was family to her. Same with all the other workers checking in on me, telling me they hope I feel better over all just a great environment! I should stay away for awhile and rest but I definitely recommend this plasma donation center. read more

I truly try find good in any situation. I truly want to say something nice. So here it is the homeless person I met outside asking for change was unique. Other then that. Horrible just Horrible. I was going to switch places to donate from CLC. BUT not a chance under any circumstances would I switch. This place in my opinion keeps it so cold in the attempt to keep the bacteria down. I would rate this place under 1 star. There whole idea of speedy process is a primitive at best. There kiosk's run so slow that they lock up twice. The staff rate at best walking Zombies going through the motions. They expect people to have no jobs and can Spend 40 hrs to donate twice a week. If a place screams SCAM this is it. And just so creepy. If I was going to catch Something this would be the place. I think staff should visit a Plasma Center and take notes. read more

I came back after about 9 months to donate again and quickly remembered why I left. This phlebotomist here are a bit incompetent in their skill. Today the girl with the blue hair yanked my needle out, causing blood to squirt on my arm. She did not acknowledge nor wipe it up. Instead she just wrapped over it and had me go about my day. I've only had that happen once before and it was at this exact center. This is definitely the place where they would puncture your artery or other complications. I've been to other plasma centers and this one is just not very professional. read more

Don't waste your time if you are a healthy athlete with a low resting heart rate. It's not a problem at any other donation center to donate at 45 bpm but here I have to drink a coffee every time before or do 500 jumping jacks just to pass a screening. I wouldn't be here if I didn't need the money and they just say there's nothing they can do. They dont even offer snacks or water. read more

If you need money, its easy and simple to get some extra cash. The payment bonuses change every month, but after your firat 3 donations(paid $75 each) you do $30 the first time of the week, and $45 the second time of the week. Sometimes they have monthly bonuses that add up $10, $20 or $50 per 2-visits in a week and after 7th donation. Its small, but donating 2 times a week can get you around $300-$400 a month. My experience has been nice, nice employees at the desk and at the donation in the back. Expect 2-3 hours in there normally. read more

Good experience in that they get you in quick. However, the payment structure sucks. Currently you get $40 for each of the first 5 donations and THEN it increases to $100/donation for the last 2-3. One problem is that this starts the 1st of the month and you may not be eligible to return until day the 3rd - 5th. This means you lose the opportunity to maximize the monthly payment structure. Other places like BioLife pay a consistent weekly amount. This place used to do that so why change? Will be going to BioLife until the payment structure here goes back to what it used to be. read more

I would totally stay away, crude and mean staff. After misplacing the dates of donations it was an immediate your a liar and you can't come back!! Like a slap to my face and rude, I than walked away and sat in the waiting room as I heard the employee (mike I believe) parading around the behind the counter and bragging about how he "canned" a liar and making a joke about it to all the other employees. Than proceeded to laugh and talk about how he is racking up his "cans" of people as if it was a trophy or something. Stay away don't come here u less you want to be made a mockery of and talked bad about right in front of your face and become a tally. My bad for struggling with memory. Stay away!!! If I could rate it less I would, I expect something back after being humiliated and mocked in front of all the staff and lobby. read more

This place is pretty slick. The first donation takes a long time. Plan for 2-4 hours. Once you are in, it is worth it. Currently $75 for each of the first 2 donations. Once you are in the system, the next donations take only about an hour. One thing people complain about is the prepaid cards, but this is actually pretty cool. You can set up wireless transfers FREE of charge to your bank account. So you go sign in at a kiosk, donate, the $ shows on your prepaid card, then just transfer it to your bank for easy use. It does take 2-3 days for the transfer though. The check in kiosks don't work too well. I find myself not knowing when an answer is selected, sometimes I have to answer the same question 3 times, and it is long. Also, the worst part about each donation is the finger stick. And while the 'bedside manner' of most employees isn't great, it isn't terrible either. Other wise, it is a very well set up system that makes subsequent donations/payment pretty easy and quick. read more

Horrible people!! I have been a dedicated Grifols donor for 6+ YEARS. Yet Courtney the OS and Carrie the CMS just deferred for 28 days today because I simply coughed because I breathed air down the wrong pipe for a second! They did not bother trying to understand or be considerate of my input nor the scenario and just went right ahead and said "DEFERRAL!" I am one of their healthiest, most dedicated donors they will ever get and I have had not caught an illness in years yet they pull that crap! I have been to many centers. They usually are great people. But this center needs new staffing. Very much so. read more
