After posting my original negative review the business owner immediately reached out and offered his apologies and that the receptionist had been let go. We arranged to come back today for my daughter to have her nose pierced. The receptionist this morning (I unfortunately forgot to ask her name) was very nice even though she wasn't aware we were the family from the evening before until the end of the appointment so, she was a great receptionist and not acting a certain way for our benefit. Ben did her piercing. He was warm and funny but also thorough and great at educating my daughter on how to care for her nose ring. I very much appreciate Johnny's care for his customers and his diligence in having employees that meet his standards of excellence. Y'all are aces in my book! read more

I had already given them a 5 star review (and it remains at 5 stars) but I thought I would go into detail about how they are operating during this pandemic. Basically they have a QR code on their front door and you walk up and scan it with your phone and you are added to their waitlist. Their waitlist was full when we showed up (around 2:30pm on a Saturday). We called their receptionist and she said the waitlist should be re-opened by 5pm so we went back at 5pm and there was already a group of people waiting at the doors!! Anyway, they re-opened the waitlist and everyone signed up and we ended up being 5th in line. They took us in after about 20 mins. Ben was awesome, as always. Lots of sanitation and face masks are required throughout the entire process unless of course you are getting any facial piercings. Overall always a great experience here. Everyone is very informative and helpful. Their receptionist, Courtney, is awesome. We sat in the lobby for about 5 minutes before going in and she got like 20 calls from people asking how they can get an appointment and she was so patient and helpful to every single caller. Bear in mind this was on a Saturday, so it may be less packed on a weekday. It may be a little bit more complicated to get your piercings done here now, as one would imagine, but if you want it done correctly, I still recommend this place and this place only. read more

Had a wonderful experience getting my nose pierced with Alexis (a.k.a @piercingpandahtx). She was extremely professional, clean & sterile, and personal. I felt super comfortable and trusted her to pierce my face . The whole experience was only 10-15 minutes but I enjoyed every moment of it. The prices were reasonable as well. Came in for a septum piercing and literally JUST left. I am so happy that I came to get my piercing done here! 1. Pierced by Aaron. Aaron was kind, informative, and thorough. He explained what was going to happen every step of the way, and I could tell he was gauging my nerves and trying to keep me calm. Aaron answered all my questions pre and post piercing. 2. I'm allergic to fantasy jewelry, but was assured that I'd be receiving surgical grade steel or titanium. Aaron was kind enough to widen the jewelry for easy hiding! 3. There was a bit of a wait time, so definitely come when you have the time to wait. THE WAIT TIME IS WORTH THE PROFESSIONALISM. Aaron did both of my piercings, which I got the Daith and Conch. I did my research on where to go, I live South of Houston and did not mind driving all the way up to Northwest Houston. They keep a very clean, sterile environment with lots of selections of jewelry that are nicely displayed. The wait time was not bad as it is first come, first serve. The entire process did not take longer than 20-30 minutes. Aaron was great with making sure I was happy with here the placement was, made sure that on my Conch that it set well around my ear. Had multiple piercings done here loved the service and the piercer. This was many years ago before I found out they began to sell luxury jewelry. I called ahead of time they told me availability of jewelry and when they close. I drove 50 mins to purchase multiple high end pieces, I have a total of 12 ear piercings, and they told me they close at 9 after previously telling me they close at 12am, I arrived at 9:13 pm. The lady working up front then said they posted about the closing on Instagram which, at time, wasn't true and she actually posted it after our encounter. Then my mom went back in to ask if I could at least see the selection to know if another 50 min drive here was worth it and the lady working up front seemed annoyed with the questioning. Then we asked for a manger in which we were basically informed she was as good as we could get for leadership. I was disappointed. I wanted to do business with them we always had a good report great kind service from start to finish. I've sent many people from my side of town to them based off of my good experiences and was happy & excited to buy fine jewlery from them but I'm hesitant about business now. I understand staffing and call ins are stressful but the lady up front could have shown a bit more sympathy considering how far I came, I understand no piercings but I couldn't just see the selection? I know she didn't care but she could have at least pretended to care even if not about me but the loss of a sale. read more

I came into Biolab in order to get my septum repierced after having a negative experience with another piercer last year. After my first visit, I already know I will be returning for any future piercings. Aaron made me feel super comfortable, and helped me brave through the discomfort. Darn those pesky clamps! Amazing and best place to get pierced. You scan a code on the door and then can chill in your car or get a snack from the surrounding areas because it real time updates until your turn. All the piercers are so informative and helpful. They will help with any questions you may have. I got studs for a double helix and it got infected slightly due to my poor management. I went back and they replaced the studs to hoops for free and gave me advice on how to fix it!! Wish I could give more stars read more

I got four lobe piercings. I chose this place as it got amazing reviews. I was surprised I wasn't offered more variety of earrings but was so nervous I just picked two out of the five silver colored ones they showed me. Since butterfly backs are not suggested for professional piercings, I didn't even think to ask but got home and realized they put butterfly backs in. They poke my face. They also did 20g and I am having trouble finding flatbacks in that size to replace. I hope they get more jewelry options as their piercer is talented and kind. read more
